I was curious about the Lululemon craze and what made people so devoted to this clothing brand? So, I went in with the idea of seeing what this was all about. They have a huge new space on the lower level of Montgomery Mall. The outfits are displayed nicely. I really liked how their advertising pictures displayed how the Lululemon product could be worn for all shapes and sizes. I also was surprised that not all of the outfits were skin tight. Those days have passed me by. lol. : ) I was asked if I needed any help right away, so service was good. The price point is on the higher side. But, I understand that their clothing wears like iron. So, you will have it for a while. I would like to comeback with my granddaughter's and see what they like. But, overall I was impressed and will definitely come back when I have more time. read more

Since I've become basically a Lululemon Spokesperson (disclaimer: that's a joke and I have no affiliation with the company), I've visited many of the stores in my area. First off... I had no idea there were so many of them. One on Bethesda Row, One in Downtown Crown, and this one in Montgomery Mall. This one in Montgomery Mall is pretty big. And the selection was pretty solid. I stopped in because I am on the hunt for shorts for the summer. Since it is hot as Hades in DC already, they had their shorts and t shirts front and center as soon as you entered the store. And there I encountered a pair of blush/light oxblood colored shorts in front of me and my friend convinced me to try a pair on. Normally... I definitely wouldn't lean towards this color... but I tried them on, and guess what: Lululemon strikes again. I gave this experience 5 stars because of the customer service I received throughout my visit. Emily at the dressing rooms was as nice as can be. And the cashier was as friendly and kind as Mr. Rogers. I even found a shirt on the sales rack that was also something that I probably typically wouldn't buy... but tried it on and really liked the way it fit. As the youngins say on TikTok nowadays... "You totally gotta check out my fit. Actually, they don't say that at all. They say it in a much cooler way like, "this is my fit for today" or ... "this fit... all the vibes." I visited this store to get some extra tops suitable for the summer. I specifically wanted items that uses pima cotton and nothing really tight fitting or fabric with mostly synthetic materials. Unfortunately, this particular store location only carried mostly running and cross training stuff. There were some All Yours Tees but none in colors I'd wear and not much selections of Back in Action line of shirts. The Educators at the location kept making recommendations for items I had zero interests in. No, I don't want "scandalous tank tops" and no I didn't want any hoodies for men or purple shirts for running. No, I'm not a tank top person. No, the leggings I want is unavailable in the store. I already checked but hey, knock yourself out with extra go-backs and time wasted looking for them. Not my fault for not listening. All in all, I left feeling like I ended up buying things I'm not quite happy with. I did really like the new Everywhere Belt Bag I got but the rest of the items were meh. I will most likely just go to the Gaithersburg or VB location the next time around. The rating is really a 2.5 but I don't particularly feel generous to round up. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service in this location. the staff is simply unprofessional and rude. I was there to return a bra that I had purchased on line. it was not worn and had the tag still attached to it. the manager of the store would not take it back. I had to call the customer service office and finally got a return label to return the merchandise. the staff in this location is too young g, inexperienced and very rude. read more

I forgot that there was a Lululemon at this mall. Many people get sticker shock at the merchandise but it's worth it. In the begining, I had to wait to go in, and sales guy was kinda curt to let me in. Due to social distancing guidelines. Anyhow, the hassle was worth the wait. Usually, I buy clothes, leggings and tops. This time I decided to get sports bras. Im very picky when it comes to sports bras. I love comfort and style. I dont like sports bras that are heavily padded or ones that smash your upper body parts in. I had these awesome sales clerk, Sam, help me in the right direction. Other sales clerk were very helpful and friendly. I love this location and will frequent this location then Bethesda row, since free parking and staff here are willing to go the extra mile for you. Again, if you want great quality yoga and work clothes, this is the place. Don't settle for cheap Fablectics lol. This clothes will last for a long time. read more

This is our go to location for Lululemon. I like their clothes and appreciate the quality for most of their products. The store employees are friendly and often are able to answer my questions with good suggestions/ recommendations. The selection is not as varied as some of the other Lululemon locations in the area but they do always have the staple stuff on display and in stock. 5/23/21 Today I stopped by another Luluemon store. I saw some pants...no, shirts I wanted to try on. A helpful employee, possibly a manager helped me find the short size I wanted. Sadly theh did not have a size 40, but they did have size 36 which my fatass use to be when I was in my 20's. I gave no intention of going above a size 40, but I decided to try out a size 36 anyhow. Believe it or not, my butt fit inside this 36 size shorts. Granted the shorts are seven inches long and I prefer the 9 inches in length. The shorts were a bit tight around my midsection, but they fit. I did not try the squat test or sitting test to see how they feel. Still I was amazed I fit I to them. I don't have a fat butt but I do have a fat gut. Something I need to work on some more. Still I am off to a good start. I will try doing some small workouts a day and see how it works out. Seeing that I fit into this pants has really brightened my day. I left the shorts on the folding table. The lady that unlocked the door for me wrote my name on the door. This keeps the staff and parents from going to the wrong room. I think I might end up getting something from these stores one day. read more

I had a not so pleasant experience yesterday at Lululemon yesterday around 330/4. First, I was waiting to be called up to the register as the two employees were having a full blown conversation not noticing me waiting. Secondly, as I gave my email for my sweat collective (I've always done email- never given my phone number), the employee at the register laughed when I gave my email at the fact of my "94" birthday year. Didn't explain why she laughed, just laughed at it and I found that to be entirely rude. Thirdly, I've never had an employee ask where I worked because of my sweat collective membership. I'm okay with someone asking, but it was in a very passive aggressive manner as if she didn't believe I was a true member. Was overall fake and passive aggressively "friendly". Terrible experience today and will likely only shop online due to this employee. I will say the girl at the entrance dealing with capacity and letting us know when to go in, was absolutely sweet! read more

One of my favorite stores in the mall. Employees are helpful and not pushy. The store has a good selection of workout gear and accessories. I was bummed my last two visits because 1. Tank top was not in my size, had to get a different color and 2. They were completely sold out of the small fanny packs. They said they should be getting more in. I'll check back. Tried to exchange a shirt for a different size that was a xmas gift...tags on and never worn but no receipt as it was a gift. Not looking for a return, just a size exchange. I was told that it was purchased too long ago (November) and couldn't possibly be exchanged. Horrible customer service and return policy for overpriced clothing. I walked into this Lululemon some time Spring 2017 and found myself now a partner of their Sweat Collective because I am a Service Member in the Armed Forces. This was the first time I was offered to join this program and it has been a great experience. Fast forward Winter 2018, I came to this store to purchase an item online which I wanted shipped to me. I was able to get my sweat collective discount. I was also informed that because the shirt was a larger size I can go into any lululemon location to have the shirt hemmed to fit me better. I'm gonna go all basic b*tch for a moment and talk about Lululemon. Maybe later I'll put on my uggs and write a review for Starbucks. I like the set up of this location much better than the one in downtown Bethesda. Even though it is a smaller store it feels more spacious. They have pretty much everything they carry at other locations and it is organized in a very easy-to-find way. They have the padded socks here which are AMAZING. Life-changing even. The employees are friendly enough, some have a little bit of an attitude but working in the mall will do that to a person (I know from experience). It's a newish store so I think they are still working out some of the kinks. But they do (did? not sure if this is still a thing) host yoga on Sunday mornings which is super cool. I waited 30 minutes in line in a group of four. 3 people had left the store and we where waiting for 1 more person to leave. The staff then proceeded to let the people behind us in line and we waited 20 more minutes. When we asked why they did this they snapped at us very rudely. In my opinion they should fried some to the staff because there is 5-6, 2 of which are by the door which are the issue. If management wanted to improve customer service and allow more customers in the store they should reduce staff they wouldn't be loosing anything. read more

Lululemon is one of favorite stores for workout gear. They are not the cheapest but the clothes are very well made and last. I have shirts and shorts that are a few years old, hundreds of workouts and washes and they still look good. read more

I absolutely love the clothes ! I usually go to the Va area. Today I was at the Montgomery Mall and decided to stop in. It was about 5pm , not busy and I was looking for work out wear. I ask a young African American male if a size 4 runs big or small, as I am talking another employee female with blonde hair whips out her phone and shows him something. i'm assuming this lululemon location opened fairly recently since it wasn't already on yelp when i visited montgomery mall last month. but upon entering the store, i didn't get the sense that it was new since there were quite a few employees there, either helping customers locate their desired clothing items or checking them out at the registers. they also had the community board with local studios and classes as well as a large blackboard with their own in-store community classes. although they had all of the usual running, yoga, cycling, and dance clothing for men and women, i did notice that this location is a bit smaller than the typical lululemon store. but either way, i love shopping at lulu and will always stop in whenever i'm near one of their stores! read more

Worst experience ever. Some staff were polite and friendly, a few staff members kept staring at me. Like would not stop starting at me. I would look away and look back and they would still be staring. I even asked me friend I was with if it was just me or if she was picking up on it as well. It made me really uncomfortable. I have been to this occasion a couple of times and the sales associates are always very helpful to answer questions. Sometimes you have to push to get them to help you as they don't alway volunteer but I prefer that to pushy sales people. My last visit was great. The sales associate was so helpful as I was trying to buy a gift and needed some help determining appropriate sizing. She was very informative and spot on with her advice. Biggest negative is how pricey the merchandise is, but I have been happy with my purchases so far. read more

A superb experience from Taylor! My first purchase from here were a pair of their Wunder Under leggings back in August in which were marketed to me as pants that would be suitable for cardio, running errands, yoga, whatever! It was just told to me as a do-everything pant. Well apparently I was mis-sized and given a size 12 and the pants have only slid down my backside everyday that I've worn them. I was a little annoyed especially seeing that I paid over $100 for a pair of pants that I couldn't wear. I wanted to give Lululemon hope and try again so I went back some weeks ago and carefully explained what happened the last time and I was told that the reason they slid down was the incorrect sizing. I was to be in a size 8 instead of a 12... I was confused at first since my pant size is currently a 10 and was a 12 when I purchased the pants but presuming Lululemon has different sizing? I was all for having a smaller size LOL. Just to be sure, Taylor allowed me to try on a size 8 and a 10 and I tried the 8 first pressing my luck and fit right into them! The pant I tried on was a new suggestion called the 'Like Nothing's' and were the bomb. I literally have wanted to wear them everyday but can't because I don't want to wear them out too fast and that would be gross lol. They don't have seams at the bottom and feel like my skin. I've worked out in them and the sweat doesn't stick or make me feel icky like other workout pants I've tried. Although they were $130 I know I made a good decision and will get a return on my investment; a positive reinforcement to work out more because I have cute and sustainable workout clothes. And the old 'Wunder Under' pants? I was told that I could bring them back to any Lululemon where they will exchange the bigger size for a smaller size. I was so excited and thankful that I wouldn't be stuck with a pant that I couldn't wear which not a practical workout pant since it slid down my derrière every 2-3 minutes. I have a horrible addiction to this over priced evil store. I hate myself for loving Lulu products so much but I keep coming back. I shop at the location in Bethesda and Georgetown prob weekly. My girlfriends and I hit up both locations after our long runs. Most of the time, the sales staff are overly friendly...telling you about silverescent products blah blah...following you around the store..getting a change room while you calculate in your head how much your haul will cost. But for the price I'm paying..I'm ok with this. Stepped into the Montgomery mall location not once but three times in the past 3 weeks. All three times...about 6 people in the store..doing nothing...chatting away...dancing and singing to the songs...talking about their pure barre class. Not one person approached me to say hi while I carried in my hand about 8 plus items..noone offered me a changeroom..noone checked on me. The second time I went in there..I needed shorts exchanged because the string on one of them frayed and I have about 6 of the same ones. The change room guy said he will help me exchange and that he left a pair at the front of the store for me. When I got there 5 minutes later, the sales person said they had no idea what I am talking about and the sales person just left for the day. Great. The third time...maybes thats the charm. Nope...noone greeted me...maybe I just look too haggard or something in my work clothes...not "fitnessy" enough for these people....but everyone stared right at me and started chatting away with their co workers.
