One is Gianna, the second a cool tall lady, and the third--whose name I really wish I got--is a clearly professional and kind woman who was wearing a really pretty head wrap. Now the reason I'm writing this review (LISTEN UP, CORPORATE): I walked in yesterday a shell of myself after a really crappy day/week/year. Shopped like a zombie for a bit and went to check out. I'm not a cryer but for some reason all the feels hit me in the middle of that store and I burst into quiet tears. After treating me with the perfect blend of dignity, space and sweetness, the third employee came over and asked if she could give me a hug. (She gives really good hugs.) Madewell, you have great employees at this store and a real gem in that third woman. She went above and beyond. I'll be a repeat customer and I sure hope the powers that be (looking at you, HQ) fix these ladies up with a raise/bonus/diamonds/fur coats. I don't know much about the third store, Corby Collection, but if it is a part of this group I am sure it is as great. in my opinion they ROCK the Bethesda Boutique's for women. If I had it my way, I would have had an extra week to plan for the upcoming wedding but now I have no time and I'm under a lot of stress. She said she would give me a full refund (which I have to drive 1.5 hours for all the way to Bethesda) and even said she has another red sari that she can get ready in only 4 days but I do not trust her.
