6.9.23 This location…read moreis located in Pike & Rose and is one of the largest in the DMV area that I am aware of. It's two levels. I don't shop here often, but was in the area to have dinner and was killing time beforehand. It is located right next to the garage which is convenient. They have a lot of tank tops and neutral colors. Unfortunately the quality of the material is on the cheaper side and I don't think it would last long. Also don't like that most of the laundering instructions say that they can't be tumbled dried. I typically don't purchase items that have to hang or line dry unless I really it. I found and purchased a black top that was on the dressier side. Their styles are fun snd tailored to younger clientele so I am a fan, but likely won't shop here often due to the quality and laundering instructions.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at an H&M store. I've been a loyal H&M customer…read morefor years, so I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated during a recent return. The store had placed the wrong tag on an item I purchased. When I went to return it, the manager refused to accept the item because the description on the receipt did not match what was on the item. Rather than simply scanning the item or checking the tag to determine whether the discrepancy was caused by an error on the store's end, he immediately accused me of lying. What made the situation even more frustrating is that I had purchased several items during my visit and was only returning this one $40 shirt. The manager's assumption that I was being dishonest over a relatively minor return was completely unnecessary and deeply insulting. A store manager should be able to handle a simple customer-service issue professionally, investigate discrepancies before making accusations, and treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, this manager did none of those things. His behavior was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for someone in a management position. I can understand that mistakes happen, including incorrect tags being placed on merchandise. What I cannot understand is why the customer is made to feel like a liar because of a mistake that appears to have originated in the store. This experience unfortunately reinforces the poor reputation this location has for customer service and staff attitude. I have been shopping at H&M for years, and I should not have to reconsider shopping at my local neighborhood store because of one manager's unacceptable behavior. I will be contacting H&M corporate to formally report this incident. I hope they take the matter seriously and address both the manager's conduct and the customer-service culture at this location.
