After forty minutes on the phone with an off-shore agent, I learned that the new card had been cancelled due to inactivity. Let's see...more than an hour to travel to a brick and mortar store and a messed up on-line system. Nope. I'm done. Apparently even in this economy they don't want my money. I canceled the rental on February 3, 2025, and was promised a refund of $202.46. Over 3 months later, after visiting the store more than 10 times, I still have not received my refund. The employees, including the manager, repeatedly gave me false promises, excuses, and contradictory answers, but no actual solution. They wasted my time and showed zero professionalism or accountability. I eventually had to escalate the issue to corporate just to get a response. The next step will be reporting to BBB and my bank if I don't get any response from corporate. I strongly recommend avoiding this store location. They do not honor their word, they mishandle refunds, and they show complete disregard for customer service.
