Love that Sephora is located inside Kohl's. Great value for the money! The employees in this section can be really helpful. Unfortunately, they are always out of samples for perfume. I usually spend well over 150$ on each visit. But, they never seem to have any samples for customers that buy the products. That's sad. I mean ZERO samples. I'd spend more at each visit. It keeps me coming back thinking they would have items I could try before buying. You can do better Kohls. You need to monitor your staff. Good addition adding Sephora to your selection! I really like this Kohl's, it seems to have a slightly bigger selection then the one by my house (but that could just be my imagination). I was looking for some very specific jeans and the other location didn't have them. I was in the area and thought I would give this location a try. I hadn't been here in a few years, but it is very nice and clean. The people were friendly and I haven't had any problems. They give you their Kohl's Cash coupons, but you have to make sure to use it because it expires quickly. They also seem to give discounts on a regular basis, so that's a plus. This store is always UNorganized! Prices are way high for the quality of merchandise they carry. There's always only 1 to 2 registers open in this huge department store and this was PRE pandemic, sooo, let's not use that as an excuse. Today, I waited 30 minutes to check out, COOL. I got to the register & typically I would enter my telephone # in for rewards, but this cashier pressed something that was asking me for my social security # instead... she didn't even understand English when I was trying to tell her the reader was asking for my ss# instead of phone #. She then shooi'd me away like I was a pet! I didn't bother looking for a Manager because the store was busy & she probably was the Manager How is it possible to be a cashier & NOT speak any English?????? I'm genuinely perplexed Kohl's I understand your desperate for Employees, but what about the Customers. I literally live walking distance & will probably never go back. Store is always in a disarray Prices are ridiculously high for the quality of merchandise..Ex. There was an Adidas hoodie on sale for $41. Kohl's has really stepped up their game. I know they were bought by a major department store chain and I haven't been there in the last couple years, but they have some high end stuff now. They have a nice line of men's jewelry as well as Ray-Ban, Arnette, and Oakley sunglasses. Even their clothing looks higher-quality. They also have a small big&tall area which is my jam. Kohl's is 1 of those stores that makes you wonder "how the hell are you still in existence?" The barrenness alone was creepy. Like, no one shops here, dude. We probably saw 1 other customer in the entire store beyond the staff. Speaking of staff, good God someone needs to send an ounce of joy. This Kohl's is absolutely horrible. The cashier her name was Parthavi or something like that. She asked me SEVEN TIMES if I wanted a credit card. I said no I have my grandmothers to use. My grandmother is 90 years old and cannot go to kohl's. She asked me to pick out a few things for Christmas. This lady was pissed off I didn't want to register for a new card, she denied me to use my grandmothers card. I literally come into this store multiple times a year, but this time was a problem?? No. Seems like this lady had a problem with me not wanted to sign up for my own card. On top of that the manager was rolled her eyes at me multiple times when I began to raise my voice after being asked multiple times for something I did not want. Line about 6 people long so I went to check out at jewelry after waiting a minute or two. Jewelry cashier is checking out a lady and commenting on all of her purchases. Scans coupons and signs her up for something. Taking forever. See that the line is down to 1 so I go back to the regular cashier. She is having a personal conversation with the customer in another language and after three minutes I just leave all my stuff on the counter and leave. Fifteen total minutes in line wasted. I love this Kohl's right in my neighborhood. They stay open so late which my night owl self really loves. Sometimes on the weekends just before closing the lines get very long because they only have one cashier by each door. I always find great clearance deals and almost always have a coupon available to use. Sometimes they'll even give you one if you don't have one. Sweet! This was my go to Kohls... but after Saturday night... nope! The cashier, I wish I remembered her name, PUSHED the credit on me so much that I didn't even pay attention to what she was ringing up. She rang up items I told her I didn't want. By the time I noticed, as she was STILL pushing the card telling me my husband should come get one, I said I didn't ask for those items. She then informed me I had to go to customer service and return them! Had to go to the back of the store and wait on line there only to return the stuff I told her I didn't want! Kohls has quickly become one of my favorite places to find really cute bargain clothes. I went to this location today because I needed some white shorts & a white shirt for a particular event, and I found so many cute options. In the past I've gotten various tops, pants, shoes, and some candles from Kohls, and have not been disappointed. The downside (other than choosing from the huge selection) is that the dressing rooms can be cluttered on busy days (this store is popular!) and there can be lines at checkout (see prior comment). On October 20th at 5:45 my son and the other baseball players came into the store. The walked around to shop and my son picked up a product and decided to walk to the bathroom with legging still in hand. As he walking down the allies he was aproched by a lady saying come with me your about to shoplift. My son said no I was going to the bathroom I have no intentions to take anything but use the bathroom. She took my son to the backroom where she had the police come and my son was issued a ticket for property theft. My son rights was taken away and someone that saw a black man with legging in had could not afford leggings. She being Stephanie or Leo took upon themself to see something that turned out to cause issues in my son perfect life. My son is from California in texas playing on a baseball team then enrolled himself into UNT University of north Texas where he speak fluent French taking International Business and Technology. This isn't the newest (or nicest looking for that matter) Kohl's, but more often than not I find a couple of discounted shirts in the 60/70/80% off racks. Odd thing about this visit was the checkout. Normally, the Kohl's associates "find" coupons and discounts without you even asking. This time I had Kohl's cash that I didn't realize wasn't able to be used until the next day along with a % off coupon that had some fine print. It has been almost two years since I visited this store because of a previous horrible experience: Upon checkout, the sassy cashier asked me three times whether or not I wanted their credit card, and each time I said no. By my second NO I do not want your credit card, she told me that she is required by her manager to ask about the credit card three times. So annoying. Really? I returned last night because I was searching for a dress that I can wear for a professional meeting, and I did not have the energy to go through Stonebriar or Willow Bend. Guess what?! This store has gotten worse! Clothing were strewn about with no organization. Sizes were mixed up. And the worst, a lot of the clothes looked dirty with makeup around the collar and BO smell. I always feel like I'm on a scavenger hunt in the store! Finding petite pants is so hard you literally have to look through every section of clothing. I normally leave feeling frustrated and having purchased nothing. On the other hand if I just happen to have a day where I have a few hours to spend and they have their sale racks up I can find some pretty decent bargains and go home happy... but, I rarely have that luxury. I was in the store for over an hour and the only employee that spoke to me was the one at the register as I walked in. I had brought a pair of jeans in December at the west Plano location and wanted to exchange them for a different size. I stopped in at this particular location on Tuesday since my husband and I were in the north Plano area. I had an exceptionally terrible experience which started when the woman in customer service said that there are 2 lines - one for pick-up and one for returns/exchanges. Since there were only 3 people in line and I was the 3rd person, I asked if someone would be coming to open up the return/exchange line in which she gave me a dirty look. I did not have my receipt, again I brought them in December and with cash so she did not have a way to track the transaction. She would only give me $16.23 credit for a $40.00 purchase. They were not on sale to warrant that low price then or on Tuesday. The jeans that I wanted to exchange for in a women's size were only $4 more in which I would have been happy to pay the difference. She called a supervisor who said it was store policy. Again, I tried to explain that all I wanted to do was exchange the same jean in a larger size. I was so disgusted with the way that I was treated and lack of customer service that I took back my original purchase and told them to cancel the $16.23 credit card and that I would never darken the doors of Kohl's again. I am not a regular shopper there and have not been there in years but I did have a wreath for the front door and a sweater that I wanted but I just left them on a counter as we walked out of the store. They are a rip-off and no wonder their stock fell 9% today. It's hard enough for the brick and mortar stores to attract customers to walk through their doors, add lack of customer service which equals disaster. read more

The rare occasion I come here I am always able to find some decent athletic clothing and a fair price. KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU COME IN. Went to this location to buy a Dutch oven and Insta Fryer today at 2:50-3:00. The price was not on the Insta Fryer and no one was immediately available for me to ask for a price scan so I got in line which was a few feet way. The woman cashier was too busy talking to a customer about her jet black hair and feeling it in which this woman's husband had already paid for their items and a line is starting to build at the check out. The guy cashier finally becomes available and I say I just need to know how much the Insta Fryer is and I pot that it just two feet away but he proceeds to say do you have the app and I tell him no so he proceeds to tell me to download the app and check the price myself. So I walked off and the lady behind me ready to check out just looked in ahh. So I just left the store and headed to Best Buy for better customer service. I wish I didn't have to give a star to this location at all!!! We were having trouble with a gift card that we had been given for Christmas, the sales associate that was helping us was very pleasant however when the manager became involved things became very hostile. I've been going to this location for 7 years. In the past year this store went downhill. Just got back home from Kohls and decided to write this review. I went first to the shoe department because they've mailed out $10 off coupon for the shoe purchase. Dozens of boxes were open, on the floor. Almost none of the shoes on the display were actually for sale (non existing inventory). Couldn't find any pair for the size needed. Walked around, got one piece of closing for my kid and went to check out. ( I had $5 reward coupon that I needed to spend on something.) There was one cash register open ( on Sunday??) and there was this lady Meg. I've seen her couple of times before. She works like frozen statue. She barely moves. This Meg was taking each kids shirt one customer was buying, and I am not kidding you: she would unfold the shirt, look at the front, look at the back, and fold it back -- all in slow motion. She did this with 6 garments. By now I turned back and there were 6 people behind me. Finally another cash register opened up. It took me 10 seconds to buy my item. This is not a museum items, you do not look at every shirt for 5 minutes adoring it. You scan it and move on. read more
