This Kohl's is located in a strip mall, near some other stores, including a grocery store. The parking lot is very large and there some electric car chargers there too. Kohl's is a large store, plenty of items for sale, plenty of options. It has some decent deals and discounts. There are clothes, bedding, toys, cards, candy, jewelry, perfume, etc. They have a Kohl's rewards program too. I have shopped there several times, and the staff is always nice. Some in the returns area can be a little stressed when they are short staffed with the long lines for returns. You can also do Amazon returns here. read more

This was a good visit! I got to use both my kohl's cash vouchers with no issues or restrictions and even earned a 10$ voucher for another visit. Though there's a specific & short time frame to use it. The new storefront design is both better and more dangerous with your spending because of all the grab items available! I hope this new layout is better for the staffers as well. The return area is there too. Last visit I set up my Sephora account and linked it up with my kohls account. They have a separate point and rewards system but you can use your kohls pay there too. I got my much needed SPF skincare at that time. A brand I never used before but it glides on like silk with no white residue! The cashier even said she uses it and loves it. She reassured me that I can return if it didn't work out. So far so good! It's called Innisfree BTW. All staffers we encountered were very nice and informative! I'm a sucker for the most bang for your buck so I'll probably search the clearance racks a bit more thoroughly next time. My favorite thing about this store is #1 you can do Amazon returns, #2 is that they have a good Sephora in there, and #3 is that you can always find coupons to make your finds cheaper. I went here the other day specifically to visit Sephora. I went to buy a foundation that was advertised in their days of beauty. It was late in the day. I had worked a long shift on my feet and of course I forgot my old foundation bottle at home. I was greeted by Lachelle, she acted as if I was the first customer of her day. she was pleasant and she was engaging, and she was ready to help me pick out a foundation color. I did not feel rushed during this process. She professionally took off my old, make up and applied several different foundations to my cheeks. She explained her color choices to me based on the time of the year it was and helped me pick out a winner. She then spoke about her make up sponge and how wonderful it was and I ended up buying some of those . And some sheet masks because I was so exhausted by the end of my day I thought that would be a fun thing to do something indulgent when I got home. She gave me a bunch of samples that I went home and promptly shared with my granddaughters. We had a lovely evening doing sheet masks, eye patches and spraying ourselves with perfume samples. I was so pleasantly surprised by Lachelle's customer service skills . Very rarely Do you get such individualized attention in a department store anymore, she really made me feel special. I plan on going back to the Sephora because she made such a wonderful impression for me. I feel like she is a wonderful ambassador for Sephora. read more

I drove well over an hour from South San Diego to this store in Oceanside because I wanted a small patio side table that matched the rest of my patio furniture from Kohls and no other store closer to me had the table. After sitting in traffic for over an hour, I went to "customer service" with my online order number (already paid for) to pick up the table. The jerk working at the customer service counter (Jose) brings out the table and it has a huge scratch right down to the metal across the top of the table which would turn rusty in probably 2 days since Im near the beach. So I asked him if they had any other tables and of course that was the last one. Then I asked him if I even wanted the table would it be discounted due to the significant damage and he said (like he was doing me a big favor) he could take 15% off, which would be a whopping $1.50. I spent waaaay more in gas, not to mention 2 + HOURS of my time to drive to this store only to have the item I had already paid online for ridiculously damaged, then get told by this punk he will take $1.50 off the price if I want it. And that is after telling Jose I just drove over an hour (one way) in traffic to pick up this POS??? I was SO disgusted I asked for the manager on duty. And OF COURSE, Jose told me he WAS the "manager on duty". I could tell from his age, his clothing, his attitude, and the fact that he was actually working at the Amazon return counter that Jose CLEARLY was lying about being the store manager. Went to another register and asked a cashier if Jose in customer service was the MOD and she LAUGHED and said no. This store makes a mockery of anyone's idea of customer service. To pull an item from inventory for customer pickup that is clearly so damaged NO reasonable person would want it, instead of doing the RIGHT thing ame calling the customer the let them know the item is damaged and let them decide if they still want it is just asinine, lazy, and clearly done by someone who could absolutely not care less about customers. And then to have this smart mouthed punk Jose lie to my face and tell me he was the manager on duty is just egregious. No wonder most Kohls have closed. Jose is lucky he even has a job, and Im sure he was very proud of himself telling me in front of a line of other customers that he was the store manager. It is just an insult to anyone's intelligence to believe a disrespectful punk that is actually processing Amazon returns would be the store manager, but obviously Jose is too stupid to realize that. After my hour and a half drive home, I have decided I am DONE with Kohls. Done with their fake 'sales', their abysmal lack of customer service, and their stupid Kohls cash which is obviously given just to get you to go back in to the store 2 weeks later. I will be cancelling my Kohls card and shopping elsewhere. Where employees dont lie to your face and disrespect a customers time by thinking a horribly damaged item purchased online to be picked up is in any way normal or okay. While my issue happened at this store, it is more of a system-wide problem. I use Kohls Cash that I have earned through purchases to make a online purchase. The items are on sale and I choose store pick up. The Kohls Cash is now gone. I receive a confirmation email. Later, I receive another email stating that there was an error and the items are not available. I receive replacement Kohls Cash, but the sale is now over and replacing the items would cost 3 times more than I have in Kohls Cash (or any payment method, for that matter). So now I am out of luck. I think there must be a way to make customers whole when this happens, and this happens a lot. read more

Ana helped me in Kohl's and had great customer service. The lady that checked me out was also wonderful and both times I didn't have a long wait in line. The last time I came here it was not great. Kohl's gets me every single time. I spend money and earn Kohl's Cash, which then leads to me spending more money and earning more Kohl's Cash. The pattern repeats. Being a credit card holder, I get additional discounts and coupons to use. There is plenty of parking, plenty. The store isn't always organized or the cleanest. The lines can be long, but the deals are worth the wait. I frequent for the Kohl's Cares books and related toys/stuffed animals. The items are $5 each. $5 is a great price for a well-known author and the Kohl's Cares cause is incredible. 100% of the net profit from the sale of Kohl's Cares merchandise is used to support the health and well-being of families in the communities. Love this! My favorite thing about Kohl's...Kohl's also accepts Amazon returns. It's such an incredible service. They literally pack and ship the return for FREE. This Kohl's Store in Oceanside is one of my favorite places to do my clothing shopping at because of their on going sale prices on everything in their store. Kohl's has discounts like take an extra 15 percent off in their store or when you order merchandise on their website which I do on a frequent basis on Kohl's.com. All of the Kohl's cashiers are very polite, helpful, and friendly. This Kohl's is well lighted and the store is very organized and clean. Kohl's has a great selection of fashionable Women's Clothing at affordable prices. I bought a really cute (Sonoma Safari Jacket) in a size Medium. This Safari Jacket is unlined and it has 4 patch pockets in the front with button styling and it includes a matching self-tie belt. Sometimes I wear this Safari Jacket with out the belt and it still looks good. I purchased this Safari Jacket in the (Stone) Color. I wanted a light weight Jacket that I can wear with my tee shirts and blue jeans. It was on Sale for $20.00 the Regular Price was $30.00. I also bought the Sonoma Brand, Women's Seersucker Top, it is very comfortable and it keeps me cool especially during the Summer time. This Seersucker Top was also on sale for $20.00. You can expect to pay a little bit more for the Women's Clothes at Kohl's than at another Department Store. I would rather pay a little bit more money for (quality clothing) that will last longer than buy really (cheap clothes) that will fall apart at the seams. I am never disappointed when I buy Kohl's clothes in their store or when I do my shopping on Kohl's.com. read more

I found a receipt today from 3/4/20. It's like finding a time capsule of a life once lived. I would say the "calm before the storm" but it was really sort of the storm before the catastrophe. My husband had lost 50 pounds from being ill and I needed to buy him new work clothes. So its so weird looking at a receipt buying him new dress pants, shirts, neckties, belts. And then only a week later the world shut down and he and most of America was working from home. I haven't been to Kohl's since Covid hit us but I long for those leisurely shopping trips. But this time, Diana ruined my trip for me. Placed an order online, to do in store pick up. I was supposed to get $5 Kohl's cash if I did an in store pick up. Well, the employees at this store didn't fulfill my order for over two weeks, and by then the item I ordered was sold out. Also, a shady employee named Annette didn't give me my refund for the clothes I returned. She lied and tried to deceive me and kept my receipt so I wouldn't have proof that I returned the items. But I got a bad feeling about Annette and so I got another helpful employee to print out another copy of the receipt. I had to call corporate to get all my money back. If you get a refund here, keep the receipt and check it to make sure they give you back all the money you're owed. I like the Kohl's cash, I like that you can do Amazon returns here, and I like that they will have Sephora here, but unfortunately the horrible criminal customer service here overshadows the good of the company. read more

I've come here on and off throughout the years. More recently, I came in to purchase jeans since they have a nice selection of Levi's and Lee. Rekindled the memory of coming here and earning rewards cash which I already failed to use and forgot to cash in during the time window. Then I came here again to do some Christmas shopping. They do have some really good sales but you do have to shop around. This time around the cashier informed me of a rewards program where you can earn points, earn rewards and get coupons. Say what?! +This online store is a joke- the entire company is. They send you coupons and birthday gifts and discounts. Then when you try to use them , they won't work together. The fine print on the Kohl's cash or coupons says up to 6 per transaction but it's not possible. They give you one and then remove one. Then the page tells you that you have entered the coupon # too many times. I guess they do not care if you shop there or not. Pre-covid, I never experienced so many issues as I have trying to make purchases as I have in the last year. I even wrote a personalized letter to the board members with some of my concerns and no reply. This was after speaking with a " manager" in- store, who did nothing to solve my problems. I went in to buy my dad a pair Nike sweats. The first time, I pulled a pair of pants off a rack where they were marked $33.25. When they rang up as $42, I told the woman at the register they were advertised as $33. She said "oh, yeah, we'll I'd have to go look..." and then proceeded to not look for me. I figured I'd grabbed the wrong style, so went back to grab another pair. So I went back to the rack myself, picked out another pair that were a different style. Second time getting rung up, the SAME THING HAPPENS. This time, the woman at the register just read me the price on the screen, over and over again instead of listening to what I was trying to tell her - your display is mislabeled and MISLEADING customers. After waiting over 20 minutes in line just to check out, there's no way I'm going back for a third time to once again have the employees NOT do their job and ignore the fact that their display prices are wrong. Missing Kohl's during quarantine, social distancing or don't feel comfortable shopping in-stores? Curbside pick up is amazing. My review is for curbside pick up. Shop online, place your order for curbside pick up. Once your order is ready for pick up, pull up to a parking spot in front, pull up your receipt and select I'm here, select your parking spot number and type in your car color/make then someone will come out with your items. If you don't have a smart phone with internet you could call the phone number on the sign! It's fast and pop your trunk so the items can be placed in your trunk. I've used curbside pick up several times now and I am pleased with my contactless experience and accurate orders received. Highly recommend this option! read more

This Kohl's is located in a strip mall next to Petsmart. There is plenty of parking. I generally do not shop at Kohl's, but I had a $10 gift card, so I thought I would look around. The store is well lit and large. I find most of their clothing to be poorly made, but I did buy a few tee shirts along with some other items. There was a long line at the cashiers. The cashier was pushing their credit card. I had to show my drivers license when I paid with my credit card. Not sure why as I don't have to show it anyplace else. I guess I would go back, but not for a while as I hate shopping. Also, I wouldn't shop here if I didn't have a coupon. read more

Kohl's Ohh how I miss Kohls. I used to go to Kohls with my mom. Door Busters and holidays were great living in Chicago. We don't have Kohls in Honolulu and I miss it. I'm super happy to be able to go with my parents here. My dad randomly shares that he needs a new wallet. OK- we're at Kohls, you can go off and look for that yourself. Am I sick of buying dress shirts at $20 for crummy dress collared shirts at Walmart? YES!!!!! Do I want better shirts at a better Value and an even Better Price!?!?!?! YES!!!!!!! Sometimes not even a Goodwill store is as good of a value as Kohls. I pay attention to the sticker price. Everything on the racks at Kohls has these new digital screens with the most up to date prices on their new fashion lines. I know it is not the uber trendiest Bruno Mars outfits that is worn by hipsters better dressed than me- but it is the dress shirts, cotton undershirts, cotton underwear and normal black pants that I need for work or church. Back to dress shirts- anybody can have a white dress shirt. Kohls has a great selection of a little bit more uptrend dress shirt that really impressed me. Am I happy? Sure am! I paid less than the crummy dress shirts at walmart and got a great value. My mom likes to get gift cards for her friends. And they like them instead of random gift cards that people don't like getting. I know that during the year they have some great deals. I just am not here long enough to take great advantage of them like my fam can. My dad likes it that it is close to both El Pollo Loco and close to their house. So it is very convenient. I like Kohls that it is super nice and different from what selections we have at normal stores in Honolulu. I miss you Kohls. Could they be better?- sure, I would expect just a little bit happier employees. Never been to one of these megastores before. But it was a dire emergency and this was the closest place to go looking for clothes. I was only given one pair of khaki pants and a uniform dress shirt for my new job and they were both in the cleaners!! Argh!!! So I came here in hopes of finding a quick replacement and I was in luck!! They are very organized for a department store and I walked quickly to the men's section and almost immediately found what I was looking for. Interestingly enough, I observed no helpers or anyone to assist me in the department, but perhaps they are just understaffed. The dressing room was self-serve and looked like it was rarely cleaned of old clothing (again, maybe they're understaffed). But, overall, my experience here was great because I got what I needed and it was inexpensive. Hooray! read more
