I went in to make a return on day 8, not realizing their policy only allows returns up to day 7. I completely understand that part and was fine with doing an exchange instead. However, when I asked for help finding my size, she stood there and said, "You can choose any shirt, any size, for exchange." I asked her twice to confirm, and she repeated the same thing. When I picked the next size up, she suddenly said I owed about $4 more because of a "price difference." That's not what she had said earlier. To make matters worse, she began muttering things under her breath in another language. I recorded it and translated it afterward -- and what she said was completely inappropriate and racist. It's unacceptable for any business owner to treat customers like that. I will never shop here again, and I hope others think twice before supporting a store that allows this kind of behavior.

Also, as a responsible parent, I would have absolutely paid for them if she damaged them. I don't mind the attendant asking her to be careful, it's the way she said it. 5 minutes later my teenager went into the same store and overheard the attendant on the phone with someone saying she just kicked us out. How does a vendor get away with offering a customer an item at a certain price and then change their mind just prior to selling it when they find out it's worth more than they want to sell it for.

The store has plenty of Dickies apparel if you are in need of any. The is quite a selection of t-shirts available too. I find that the cost of jeans needing to be hemmed is a reasonable price, $8. And to have my zipper replaced on my jeans was $12. I know we will still continue to bring our business here since we know that the work is usually done in a timely manner. Also, that the service is good as well as friendly. This store is located in a strip mall so you may find other businesses that may catch your eye.
