They allow men to use the women's fitting rooms. I was there today and a man came in with his wife/girlfriend (I assume) and they shared a fitting room in the women's section. I immediately got dressed and informed a staff member because I felt uncomfortable. She asked the man to leave, but then she walked away. So he just stayed there. I tried telling other staff, and they seemed genuinely concerned, but no one would actually talk to him and address the problem. They offered to walk me to my car so I would feel safe, which was a nice gesture, but again it didn't address the problem. This is actually the second time I've had this experience at this location (the first time was in the lingerie department!), so I won't be going back. I just don't feel comfortable sharing fitting rooms with men, especially when the doors are so short that someone tall can easily see over the top. read more

I work at this Kohls. It is a fantastic store. The employees are more like family to each other, than co workers. The store is always clean & the merchandise is beautifully displayed. The woman who dresses our mannequins is amazing. We have the best dressed mannequins of any retail store in the valley. The managers are caring & helpful. Everybody pulls their weight. I want to say that this store is the exception, not the rule. I worked at TJ Maxx & the difference is like night & day. Management at TJMaxx was snotty, very very unhelpful & lazy. I am extremely grateful to have been hired by Kohls & hope I am there for a long while. If you havent been to Kohls on Hamilton ave in Campbell, please come and see us. This business has some racist and homophobic cashiers!! Stay away!! At around 6:08 PM, my mom was discriminated against and ridiculed by a cashier here. The cashier was giving my mom a hard time because she went with her friend and when she wanted to pay, she was questioning her as to whether that was her own card that she was using to pay. Not only did she questioned her choice of clothes but also was very rude and discriminatory and she refused to ring her up. So, after her experience, she was helped by another cashier who was actually nice and took care of her. She shops at Khols all the time BUT now, we don't know. The cashier who mistreated her was the very first one on the line and possibly of Asian descent as this description is relevant to identify who did this. Again, the cashier who rang her up was nice but the first cashier (the woman) was discriminatory and rude. The receipt is attached as proof of purchase. 10/12/2018 I came to this Kohls today with my 85 year old mother. The escalator to go upstairs was broken so we had to walk to the back of the store for the elevator. I've been here a couple times and I just can't connect with the whole Kohl's thing. Kohl's is like a Mervyn's that thinks it's a Macy's and nobody has told them their actually ghetto. I'm totally in love with Kohl's...seriously. Ever since they've opened stores in the South Bay, I've consistently found great deals in every department - clothing (men, women and children and babies), jewelry and things you need for your home and kitchen. Their clearance racks are stocked with reasonably priced items. It takes a little digging, but I always seem to come up with a great deal. I have always found the employees at this particular Kohl's very willing to help me find something or answer a question. Although this is a great store and very organized, I was very surprised to see how disorganized and out of sorts their shoe department was. It was really hard for me to find the size and type of shoe as shoe boxes and shoes were strewn around on the shelves. Thankfully, their shoe department is on the second floor - and not as you enter. This isn't the biggest Kohl's I've ever been to, but it is one of the better organized. It was easy to walk in, and go to the section that I want, browse for items, and easy to check out. The line to check out went pretty quick because they were quick to open more registers once more than a few people were lined up. Pro-tip: Don't use the price tag as the "real price". If you're a size small like me, there may be times that the hanger would say small but in reality, it's a medium or a large so double check! This is a nice kohls location because it is big, organized and well kept (I'm assuming due to the fact that it isn't very busy) but their employees need to work on their customer service, specifically the customer service department (ironic isn't it?!). Yeah I'm talking to you, guy who looked at me while I was approaching the counter to do an exchange...just look in my direction and then go back to the conversation you were having with your coworker without acknowledging my existence, and let me just stand at the counter dumbfounded while I wait for you to finish telling a story to your coworker. I think this place is okay. It sort of reminds me of Mervyns or JC Penny to be honest. They do have good quality of clothes and good sales. I love the Kohl's cash even though I tend to spend may more than I should. They have pretty much almost everything from electronics (well not video games however), clothes, jewelry, book and bedding. I shopped at the bedding of course and bought a nice comforter for 80 dollars king size at chaps. "Every Kohl's is different!" That's what my mother in law always says. To a point it's true because every Khol's has so much back stock on sale that you can find so many inexpensive and different things at separate stores. All Kohl's are pretty inexpensive and it seems that it's a race between girlfriends who can find the best deals. Me, I'm just glad all of their dressing rooms have seats. Customer service is always really good at this location, manager is great, always clean and pretty organized unlike other stores that look like a clothing tornado went through and dumped everything on the floor. The clearance section is crazy, but if you have some time and patience you can find some really great deals. Large intimates department and shoe department. My teenage daughters were pleasantly surprised shopping for some back to school items. There aren't many good old fashioned department stores anymore, so glad they are still around. Sometimes you just need to be able to try things on in person versus online, plus reducing the amount of boxes and packaging that come to my home (I have a cardboard shanty town on the side of my house right now from Amazon boxes). Good place to find clothes and misc home supplies. I went in the other day looking for luggage and they had a pretty limited supply. It seems like all the big retailers now have a wide selection online but can be fairly limited as to what they carry in their stores. The staff I've encountered have been friendly and helpful. Their prices are right in line with Target with about the same type of selection. One thing that stands out with these guys is their return policy. Very easy return process, and you can even return stuff without a receipt (for store credit of course). The proximity to my house makes this my usual first stop when going shopping. Another plus is their huge parking lot...makes getting in and out quick and easy. read more

Is it just me, or does Kohls rooockkk haaaarrrddd?!! I love it! You can find anything from clothing to home decor to jewelry to bath towels, and everything in between. The prices are reasonable. It's similar to Mervyns but with a better variety of merchandise. I like how there are price scanners that actually work on almost every aisle, and how you can take a gazillion pieces of clothing into the fitting room without having to swap out 6 items at a time; and returns are a breeze! I love the products, but I hate the store. Almost every time I go in there, clothing is strewn about everywhere, making me have to sort through piles to try to find something that I like in the right size. OK, so it's a cheap store, and you get what you pay for, right? Well, no. I can go to the local Target, and not have the throw clothes around just to find something. I can go to an outlet, and not have to dig through piles.The other thing is that I had to check the items' tags because they are often on hangers labeled with a different size. I had to return a sweater once because it was on a hanger with my size labeled, but it turned out to be smaller. I've complained to local management, and placed a note on their customer support system. The manager wrote me back, but when I went to the store again, I still saw the disarray. read more

My mom has a Kohl's card and today she sent me to get some last minute stuff for her and the lady refused to let me use it because it wasn't my card. Okay, that would be understandable, BUT my mom has sent me with her card a few times before and it has NEVER been a problem with any other cashier. This place is hit or miss. Good - today I lost my cell phone at this Kohl's, dropped it on the floor, I guess, when I was trying on pants in the women's dressing room. Didn't realize it until about 1 hour after I had gotten home, luckily someone had turned it in to the service center. So a big THANK YOU to the person who turned in my Blackberry at this Kohl's today. You really saved me, since all of my important info is on there and I haven't backed it up in awhile. Bad - when I called the Kohl's, they said they didn't have my cellphone at the service center. But I decided to go there anyway, in case someone turned it in while I was driving over, and good thing I did, because when I showed up, it was there!! So, if you are in any doubt, it's always a good thing to go there in person, since some of the service people are unreliable. Good - my son is obsessed with sports and wants to only wear NFL, NBA and some college sports jerseys. Sometimes this Kohls will have some in stock, discounted significantly from online. For example, online a jersey may cost $36 or more, whereas on sale here, it could be $12. Bad - as some people note, some of the prices are WAY OFF and that's why they can offer 40% off or whatever. For example, I looked in the toy section, there is a kids' potters wheel for $50, but on Amazon, it is only $26; plus the Amazon reviews say the quality of the product is bad. Another toy - a card game- sells for $10 at Kohl's whereas online it is $5. On the other hand, some toys were pretty much the same price or lower than Amazon (a Tonka truck and a puzzle map of the USA), and then you save the shipping fee. So moral of the story - try to do some research before you go here, so you know what the prices should be. read more

It's like Mervyn's but with a few name brands and everything is way more expensive. Every once in a while I will stumble upon something I love but mostly, I feel like things are overpriced. However, I will still keep coming because they have sales often and clearance can be pretty good. They send coupons in the mail frequently also. One thing that was a big plus recently for me was how organized the line for the Christmas rush was. One long line but it went by fast. It seemed like every register was open and they also had it roped off with someone who looked like a manager guiding the shoppers as soon as a reg. opened up. He was on it. There must have been like 15 people in front of me when I got in line and I wasn't waiting any longer than 10 minutes. That earned them some major brownie points.
