Although Jose pulled it from a box, it had no wrapping / foam, etc. Guess I'm supposed to be stupid and this this is a NEW UNIT. Come on. Fine, if it was refurbished, but it didn't work after 7 weeks. Since June 2015, I've tried contacting BOTH PARTIES, ea blaming the other. Guy won't correct the problem and gave me 2 quotes (for the same job) but the 2nd one higher than the other, within 45 days!!! There was no time frame on the quote (which 90 days would be nice or longer) and HE WON'T HONOR HIS OWN WRITING / QUOTE! Dude, that's your mistake, not mine. AND he sent JOSE over to fix a problem (cause he was too busy, I guess) and won't exchange the DVR or fix the issue OR give me a discount to replace the DVR his guy installed. Guy knows his stuff. I give him that credit, but needs to work on his customer service skills. If he can't do your work, I would not allow anyone else to come in his place. (Sorry Donovan) I haven't met you. You may be a great guy. I'm stuck between a 1 and 2 stars, but my suggestion... check around first. Guy does work for major stores like Wal-Mart, so that speaks for his knowledge, but he maybe TOO BUSY for us LITTLE PEOPLE (if you know what I mean).

He rescheduled, but on the day of he texted to say he would need to reschedule again as he was busy with another client. He never rescheduled. I'm not bothered by him having to postpone due to another client -- that's very understandable to me. But if I need to repeatedly reach out and prod him just to get an estimate, I am wary of what it would be like to enter a contractual agreement with him where I'll need to entrust him with my home and my money. He probably does good work based on the other reviews I've read. Unfortunately, his communication (or lack thereof) gives cause for concern.
