Had to Come Back for More The Old Dirty Bob's lets you step back in time and serves up great food at reasonable prices!

We have been meaning to try this place for awhile and today we finally did and were pretty disappointed. It took a long time to take our order. When we finally got our food it was all cold. The fried okra we ordered was pretty soggy inside. Both French toast and chili burger were cold. The eggs were ordered scrambled and were pretty wet. Our bill was pretty pricey too. So we were disappointed and won't be coming back.

This place was awesome! Great omelette, and fantastic pancakes. We got turned away from Buck Owen's Crystal Palace, guess you need a reservation for breakfast... then we got lost trying to find an entrance to the 99 and ended up here at KKs. Great service everyone was super cool and lots of coffee refills. Definitely gotta come back cause I saw someone else get a chicken fried steak and it looked AMAZING!

Great people, great food, cool location with a long history. Has a nice Country ambiance.

For three things of biscuits and gravy that were burnt they charge us $32 and side of bacon and sausage. Very very disappointed in KK's café it's usually not this bad and the wife found a hair in her biscuits and gravy. I give them a 2 out of 10

Well done scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, hash browns with cheddar cheese and a side of salsa, and biscuit with gravy.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good! Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. You can ask them for descriptions or ask for a menu to see details and ingredients. They're open late too, so I think my next visit will be a GNO or a date with my hubby.

Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.

It was my choice to come here based on the reviews but both of us were really disappointed. First of all some items are only available certain times of the month, which was a letdown because I really wanted to have something they didn't have that day. Walking in you have to write your name down on a sheet of paper for the wait list, then you are called and taken to you table. Service is Friendly, establishment is clean and spacious for a small place. The menu offers variety. The coffee is a solid 10/10 and so is the orange juice. The food- I had the country fried steak with over medium eggs, country potatoes and biscuits and gravy. My rating for my meal was a 4/10. There was no real flavor in the gravy & the sausage they used used as umph was just savorless meat. The biscuits were bulky, tough but fresh. The fried steak lacked so much seasoning, both meat and the coating/batter. The potatoes were not steaming hot and the steak was thin and tough. My baby had the chile verde skillet and he was SHOCKED the skillet wasn't even HOT. As you can cleary see in the pictures the cheese wasn't even melted ‍ and again the skillet was cool to the touch. Chile verde has good flavor but the ordering a skillet and it being cold threw the mind off lol. Omg the salsa that they offer just tasted like tomato water, no flavor and definitely no heat. No huevo rancheros and no open face sandwich was available the day we went. I'm sorry but Idk how people are giving this place such high reviews with the vapid food they are serving. Needless to say my hubby and I will not be returning. If you're wondering why hubby finished his food, it's because we really needed to get our calories back lol and we hate having to have our money go to waste.
