Kitsune Brewing Company has built a wonderful neighborhood taphouse with a great vibe, good beers, and friendly staff.

Update: we came back for disney trivia night and had a blast. Tried more sours and ate munchiemouth food truck again. Again, Tyler made it a fun night and was excited to tell this Disney lover about his upcoming dolewhip flavor. New cool hangout spot! I'm not a beer drinker (but trying to build that palette because I really want to be a beer snob!). I enjoyed a flight of the 4 sours...my favorite is the Sumuji Pineapple. Check out Kitsune's insta page and calendar for bingo and trivia nights and find out which delicious food truck will be parked outside each night. We can't wait to return for some date nights! Bonus: owner Tyler and the girls bartender are all so kind and knowledgeable. Thanks for a fun night! Instagram: @msbusyblonde

Had been wanting to try this place for sometime. On Sunday got the chance. Brown Ale was very good. Hoppy Valentine was okay ( strawberry IPA) Amber IPA was good and Japanese Lager was excellent. All styles well represented. Look forward to coming back and enjoying many good beers. Cheers!

This is a neighborhood fav! It's a really cool space with a chill vibe. The owner and staff are super friendly and outgoing. The beer is perfectly made with their own twist in some classics. They do not have a kitchen but usually have a food vendor that sets up in the parking lot. My favorite brew is the Red Ronin however I do need to try some more of the menu.

Flew in yesterday morning and anxiously awaited 3:00 so I could finally check out Kitsune!! In a strip mall w a noticeable address marquee on the south side of Bell Rd it's easy to find! Great signage for the location and a favorite, a wall of floor to ceiling windows for natural light! When I arrived 10 minutes after open it was already quite busy, short lived as it was a large group on a party bus, good for me, so I could take in more of the digs now. I was able to meet delightful owner Tyler, such a kind and lovely fellow. Beertender Maddie/y was super friendly and helpful too as I built one flight then once I took a closer look at the tap list: oh I forgot about that beer I'd seen on social media and for the name alone I wanted to try... You're Killing Me Smores! Everything about my visit was....just... perfect!! Friendly owner and beertender, delicious beer, easy parking and comfortable, spacious digs! The tables are pretty even... half and half high and standard seating. I appreciate that the Kitsune merch is easily viewable from across the tap room; and it's quite colorful! Next to the merch is the off-sale cooler. As we sat at the edge of the bar we had a perfect view of the bew house and could see that there's an open garage door in the back, for what we imagine on an ideal can create the perfect crosswind! We even briefly chatted w some other customers who were friendly and kind...always a good sign you're in the Right Place. Thanks Kitsune for being everything I had hoped for! Definitely worth the East valley drive!! Looking forward to another stop in during my valley week!!

Fine sours and some good beers. Just don't expect good times. After blankly referring us to the menu as the greeting when we say it's our first time and then staring at his phone....and then, completely unprovoked, having his friends mock us, I'm not sure what else you could ask for!?. Seriously gross. So yeah...will never be back. We spend about $2k a month in restaurants due to income from businesses that treat customers with basic decency. Here's a great pic though of the delicious seltzer I had fun making before they insulted me while I was in the bathroom in front of my spouse and then mocked him for his shirt. Not gonna be recommending this place. Explains why there were only 2 people there other than his friends. I feel bad for the owner's revenue losses. We will be running back to Lake Pleasant Brewery. They are amazing!

We stopped in Saturday afternoon, the place was actually quite hopping. A wide ranging crowd including a few families. We had a sampler, while they seem to specialize in New England IPAs, they had a well rounded selection brewed in house which included a Japanese-style Rice Lager, a Dry Irish Stout and an Amber. Having been to Japan a few times and tasted craft beers there, this was quite credible, nice clean taste, definitely a step well above a Sapporo. The Dry Irish Stout was very pleasing although it was not on Nitro. There is no food served but they did have a Chicago Vienna cart outside, the Italian Beef was excellent. There is also a cooler at the front with a variety of their canned beers so that was a nice touch.

Really solid variety of beer and great service. Got a flight and loved just about every beer I tried. Definitely try their flagship beers! They also host a variety of fun events including trivia and have food trucks swing by on those days!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kitsune. Each time my husband and I walk in, we are greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. Tyler, the owner, goes above and beyond to get to know everyone who walks through the door. I'm a sour fan, and Tyler and his crew make the best sours around. I love the alternating food trucks they have each week, and they're always hosting a new event, whether it's paint night, Bingo, trivia, Pound & a Pint, etc. Kitsune has quickly become our favorite place to grab a beer. The vibe, energy, friendly staff, and delicious beer options at this brewery keep us coming back.

    Is the brewery dog friendly?

Maricopa county doesn't allow dogs in a closed space with reusable dish-ware. There is not a patio at Kitsune.

Bingo had a great time people watching and loves meeting other dogs when he is there. During the weekends this place does get very packed so go early if you want a spot. The food was dreadful. My friend had a pizza and there was virtually nothing on it. He said it was not good. I can't say because I didn't try it. I had one of the hamburgers. The bun and the accoutrements were fine. The hamburger patties themselves were pathetic. I think I've had better hamburger at Jack in the box. These were extremely thin and had no flavor whatsoever. The best thing was the service. Every time I have been here, the service has been excellent. The servers really seem to want to please. Also, I like the beer. I don't love it because they don't cater to my particular tastes, which run to darker beers, oatmeal stout, darker Ambers. I won't be coming back anytime soon. I'm sorry, but if you can't get a hamburger right and you serve me a patty that is unrecognizable as such, you've probably lost my business.

For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.

The wait staff was very efficient and my food was ready when I arrived. Parking should be easy except during very busy times.

We were especially looking forward to trying the brown butter cookie for dessert, but since no one came by, we eventually had to flag down a server just to get the check.
