Small looking restaurant from the outside. Pretty nondescript. Stopped by for a quick lunch on the way to shopping. Cute interior decor. Food was excellent. The burgers were pretty cooked and sandwiched by appropriately firm buttered brioche bun. Garlic steak fries were decadently greasy and well seasoned. Baby friendly during our post lunch time rush visit. Friendly staff. read more

I love Kitchen 519. They're a cute little spot with outstanding food. I've been here a few times but the last time I went, I was very pregnant and there was a little bit of a wait for our table. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable (sitting or standing, my choice) and even brought out a tray of their delicious french fries for all the customers that were waiting to enjoy. I always look forward to going here and would highly recommend that any food fans give this classy little spot a try. read more

Fantastic food and excellent, friendly service! Such a relaxed, warm vibe - felt like walking into a close friend's home. We found it accidentally, in an effort to find a healthy, hearty bite close to our route on the Jersey Turnpike. They had an expansive menu and were flexible with my food allergies. And everyone was super friendly to our 6 month old - always appreciated. Look forward to eating there again! read more

We are new to the area and were told to visit this place. We were definitely not disappointed. The atmosphere were inviting, and cozy but it did not sacrifice the quality of the food. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE! read more

Love, love, love this place. Always great food, great welcoming atmosphere. (Just one note of caution, service on Sunday evenings is not the best). read more

If I could give no stars I would. I never write reviews but the reason my boyfriend and I came here is because of how high the reviews were to begin with. Idk how they get 5 stars let alone 4 stars. I ordered the crab omelette and my bf got the buffalo chicken & waffle. My omelette was almost inedible, thank goodness for the side of homefries or I would've left as hungry as I came. 3/4s of my omelette was left on my plate because I let my bf try some as well and the server didn't question a thing. My bfs food was also trash, the waffle came out cold to him... we should've just made brunch at home. We are both feeling sick to be honest and to make matters worse the service was awful. I used to be a server so I have empathy for them but also expectations on good service. You don't get a tip for taking an order then giving a check. He did not once ask how our food was( which was awful ) , never checked in with us , never checked if we needed refills of water (which we did). I've never had such a horrible experience like that in my life. We clearly will not be back. read more

Outstanding - fresh ingredients - dishes made from scratch - interesting and varied menu items - many gluten-free options - very tasty. I just finished my perfectly cooked salmon. Thanks read more

1st time walk in. Very nice staff. The menu has a wide variety. The food was all fresh. We will return.

We stumbled upon this place on our way to NYC, and it's the best decision we made. The food is amazing! If you have allergies or dietary restrictions they are very accommodating to those needs. The menu also has multiple vegan and vegetarian options. The ambience is also very nice. It wasn't too crowded for lunch but definitely make a reservation if going for dinner. read more

I've been here twice and enjoyed my meal each time. Great environment and everyone working here has been great!! I have recommended my friends and family to come check this place out!! Everyone that has took my advice has agreed great food, great people. read more

Great crab nachos and had the crab cake sandwich. Delicious! All the reviews were right.

Lucky find driving home! Great, interesting menu with good variety. We had fish tacos and their house salad with salmon. Also roasted red pepper soup. Everything was delicious. read more

This is a great place. Cute and artsy décor and great service. Our waiter (I think his name was Johnathan?? so sorry if I have it wrong) was just awesome and really funny. The food was great, we had the hummus plate for an appitzer, I had the smoked gouda mac and cheese for my main course, and the bananas foster for dessert. It was all fantastic. I am definitely going back. read more

Food = 5 stars Service is lacking, but I will tolerate it because the food is so delicious. I have only been here for brunch and lunch but am dying to go for dinner I've had the crab cake Benedict, which I would get again and again. Also tried the chicken and waffle, the chicken was delicious and a generous portion. Make a reservation I have been a few times where it's empty and a few other times where it is packed. Byob too read more

Definitely a hidden gem! Glad that I finally tried as I had been driving by it for a while now. The curry egg rolls were delicious, and refreshing. My first fish taco and definitely won't be my last here. They won me over. BYOB if interested. Prices reasonable. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about food they are serving. Vince was great and couldn't believe that he has only worked there 3 mos. He did an amazing job! I didn't have room do finish the mussels with chorizo in red sauce but I definitely enjoyed that the next day as well. We will see you again soon as I definitely have to try that whiskey bread pudding!!!! read more

Inside out burger all the way.....im a burger guru and this might have been the best burger i have ever had.....do yourself a favor try this burger with avacado and the fried egg, you will never, ever be the same read more

We went for a late lunch /early dinner. It was our first time dining here. Started with fried pickles which were very good then the Cuban sandwich and the inside out burger both with garlic fries. Awesome!! Ended our meal with fried Oreo and ice cream. Super! Great little place. You won't be disappointed. read more

Had an outstanding lunch today. I have eaten here many times and today was excellent. We enjoyed the caprese salad as well as the tomato and avocado grilled cheese and the gouda mac and cheese. The best part was the sweet potato cheesecake for dessert. Absolutely outstanding. If I had to make a complaint it would be the service was slightly slow but other than that it was great. read more

Went for Sunday brunch with my daughter. I've been eyeing up the chicken and waffles for a few months and finally made it over. The chicken was outstanding with a nice light, crispy coating and the waffle was delicious. The highlight was the maple syrup with cayenne pepper giving a nice little kick at the end. My daughter enjoyed her omelette and loved the old bay home fries. read more

Finally got around to getting to this great spot and it was well worth the trip. Went on a Friday night and it was packed at 630! Extensive menu, great specials, and BYOB (however they are now selling local Bellview Wine). Casual vibe, good mix of patrons, and excellent service. Vegan options on the menu, fancy mac and cheese, and their dessert list included a chocolate bacon sundae...will definitely return. read more

Kitchen 519 is an excellent gem!!! This is a restaurant everyone should try... Last time we were there, I had buffalo chicken and waffles with cayenne syrup, it was phenomenal. Bananas Foster for desert made the cap to a great experience. We will be back many many times!!! read more

This place is a gem. You can drive right by it and miss it. Cozy little restaurant and BYOB although they sell local NJ wines as well, but liquor store is 1 block away. Had the Calamari which was awesome, perfectly made and spicy. Try the Reuben soup, tastes just like eating a Reuben. I had the Blackened Cobia which was amazing, with gorgonzola mashed potatoes and everything was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Jordan was very knowledgeable and i thought he owned the place the way he spoke about the food and the service. They are lucky to have him. The only downside is the entrance, which is way too busy as you have to walk by the open kitchen. I would put a door or curtain there. Other than that, I would recommend this place. read more

The food at Kitchen 519 is truly amazing. The steak was not only cooked to perfection, but was buttery soft and delicious. If you are headed in any direction remotely close stop in and treat yourself. read more

My mom got us donuts from here today and they were 16 dollars for a dozen TINY donuts. She only went there because she saw all the cool donuts on face book. The cream is trash and the donuts aren't any better. I can get bigger, better, and cheaper donuts from another place read more

Awesome service!! Awesome food!! It's great to see a small business become successful!! Either lunch or dinner, is recommend to any, and everyone!! read more

The food is delicious and great service. You can dine in or order to go. I do recommend this place if you're looking for healthy food. We've eaten here a few times and we're never dissapointed. read more

Oh man, this restaurant reminded me to never judge a book by its cover. When I saw the outside I thought "oh sh*t" then when I walked in and saw the kitchen immediately to my left I was thinking what did I get myself into. I'm more than happy to say they proved me wrong. We ordered the biscuit with gravy, buffalo cauliflower, macadamia encrusted chicken, charred chili broccoli, and steak frites and I must say everything was amazing. True comfort food with little twists and upscale taste/presentation. I would instantly return and am happy I found a new hidden gem. read more

Found this place via Yelp and decided to try it after reading so many great reviews. Our server, Jordan, was very nice and attentive. The bread and oil brought out before the meal were great. I ordered the inside out burger and garlic Parmesan fries and the were awesome. The burger was really fantastic. It was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My husband ordered a wedge salad and a crab cake sandwich. They brought him the wrong meal but apologized and fixed quickly. He loved the wedge salad but wasn't overly impressed with the sandwich. It was more bread than crab cake and he said it was lukewarm (probably because they made it quickly to fix their error). He said it tasted okay but the roll overwhelmed the meat so he wouldn't get it again. We ordered the Bananas Foster dessert to split and it was really good! We will definitely be back again. I'm not sure if I could bring myself to try anything different because that burger was so amazingly good. read more

My niece and I had a marvelous lunch today. I have been trying to come here with her for a while now. My niece is a pescatarian and this restaurant has a lot of interesting choices. At first today, I was skeptical because when I see no cars in a lot at a restaurant I usually change my mind. My niece convinced me to go in. Our waiter Jarod was terrific. He recommended many things on the lunch menu that we ordered and they were delicious. Definitely will be coming back here again. We shared a cheese plate as an appetizer. This was really good. Four cheese choices, marmalade and crostini's. Then my niece had the salmon chowder soup, the Korean bbq tofu tacos . See loved her meal. I had the recommended crab sandwich that came with a side and I was told by Jordan that I could upgrade to garlic fries. So I did! I loved the fries but they were expensive for the amount given. We heard they have a great brunch. I really want to go back and check it out . I read more

I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I'm pretty sure anything I get will be amazing. I've had the inside out burger, fried pickles, garlic fries, and bacon sundae. All were delicious. I can't wait to come back to this gem and eat my heart out! read more

Had an excellent meal with attentive service. Our party of eight was impressed with the menu and enjoyed the calamari, fried pickles, hummus and mussels from the appetizer listings. The crab cakes were the best we have ever had, and the fresh hand-cut garlic fries were to die for! Creme brûlée finished our meal on a creamy note! We have found a go-to place for an awesome meal! Wow! read more

Came in to try the grilled cheese burger and I was not disappointed! Had another cup of the Reuben soup as well, which was awesome. Sundays are a great day to visit 519. read more

They food in one word is simply amazing! I went with a party of 5 and everyone would agree! It was my boyfriend and I 3rd time here but 1st for everyone else. I was telling them they had to try this place so mother's day was the perfect time. I don't eat seafood but everyone else in my party did. They had the calamari which they all loved loved loved! They ordered salmon, inside out burger, crab sandwich, crab cakes, and lobster stuffed salmon imperial, and I had the macadamia crusted chicken. They were sooo happy! The waiters and waitresses are so friendly every time! Only disappointment I have is NOT trying the cheese steak egg rolls which they don't have all the time and I know would have been great! We will definitely be back to try brunch and of course dinner. read more

It's a nice, small restaurant with averagely priced delicious food. The service was a little slow, especially considering there weren't that many people being served at the time. But after we ordered the food came out quickly. We enjoyed the complimentary hot bread with dipping oil. The cuban quesadillas were delicious! We really loved the sauce they put on top. The 6oz steak was cooked to perfection. The crab alfredo had a little more "cajun" taste than I preferred so I didn't eat much of it. Definitely no room for dessert! This is a good place for small groups and couples. Not sure I would make this a frequent place to eat, but maybe for special occasions. read more

I've only heard nothing but great things about kitchen 519 unfortunately in my case I thought it was not good at all. The best thing about it was probably the bread and pesto and the hoisin calamari. All three of our entrees were so salty. I had the crab Alfredo which was the most edible my husband had the special salmon too salty and the crab cakes were disgusting, the pharaoh was under done. Just a bad experience and I will not be back. read more

Such a cute little spot. Came in for lunch and it was great! I had the Brie, apple & honey grilled cheese and it was delicious! Can't wait to go back and see the dinner menu. My only complaint is the AC is blasting!!!! Turn it down please!!! read more

As they come up on almost being open for a year, I still have the same impression as I did when they first opened. Absolutely amazing service and food! This is our go to date night spot. You must try to the creamy Reuben soup, the inside out burger (and yes upgrade for those delicious fries), crab nachos and try any of their specials as the chef doesn't disappoint. I'm so happy Glendora has a BYOB with so much to offer. read more
