Warm welcoming atmosphere and incredible food. Small, thoughtful twists on some classic dishes that we are salivating over a week later. Prices very reasonable for the portions and overall quality of the food. Also really digging the fact that they use local produce and support local artists (all of the art on the walls is local!). Have already recommended to friends and family, and will certainly be a repeat customer. read more

First time, tried for dinner, found it on Yelp, and was glad I came. Modern American food, some vegan entrees. Tried mussels chorizo app, special pork porterhouse dinner, menu regular fried tofu dinner, and special pumpkin pie turnover - creative recipes that came together very well, chef has a good sense of flavors and ingredients. Trendy decor, original art on walls, and creative display of antiques that parallels the menu's style. Bright and open dinning room. Service was good, friendly and on-point. BYOB place. May not be great for kids. Unexpected type of place for this town that I tried by chance, but it's on my list now. read more

Nice staff, great atmosphere, I had Hummus Plate, Inside Out Burger and Iced Coffee. All was fair .... I'll go back again and have a platter maybe it will be better read more

Our new favorite place for brunch and dinner. Hope the parents who let their kids scream stay away! Awesome menu with a variety of traditional, veg, and vegan choices. Buffalo "chix" app, chicken and waffles, and garlic fries are our current favorites! read more

I've been here a handful of times now and everything I've ordered has been exceptional in taste and portioning. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is comforting, cozy, and not too over the top. I can see why this place is always busy. read more

Awesome food and great atmosphere. So nice to have a great restaurant in the local neighborhood. Can't wait to go back! YUMMY!!

The food is here is always amazing , I haven't had any issues ever ! I highly recommend this place , it's different and the garlic fries are delicious! read more

Our first visit to this restaurant. It is tastefully decorated place zwith artwork featuring local artists selling their art work. The appetizers were excellent. We were not too excited about the main dishes. I ordered the Zucchini wrapped around a cheese blend, my husband ordered fried calamari and my son ordered the fish and chips. The Zucchini dish did not have a special appeal, the fried calamari and the fish were very dry. I will give this restaurant an other chance and try other dishes at my next visit. read more

Nice try.... but no. First impression was how dingy and dark it was at noon. They went out of their way to block out all the natural light. The wordy menu makes it sound like Gordon Ramsey is the chef. Alas, the truth seeps out with the oil that surrounds the cold handcut fries served in a cute metal basket, only proving they missed the point of trendy food entirely.... & for fucks sake, don't advertise Texas Toast for the BLT and then serve it on 3 layers of Wonder Bread®. read more

First time eating here today. There was literally nothing bad about our entire meal. The service was impeccable, they are incredibly knowledgable about the menu and the choices. Our waiter, Jordan, was the maestro that conducted a FABULOUS meal for us. The wine from Bellview winery was delicious. We had absolutely no qualms about our meal. We'll definitely be back! read more

Wow!!! I have been in the food business for 30 years from Maine to Florida this was the best meal I have had in YEARS!!! Service was also great!! Kitchen 519 has become my new go to place when I have family in town or just looking for a great meal. High quality of food and great presentation didn't hurt either. The price is exactly what I expected and the fact that you can buy a bottle of wine at this byob is a nice touch. read more

Atmosphere was intimate and locally upscale. Little pricey, but my meal was satisfying fresh and very flavorful. Coffee was quite weak I thought and my bread pudding, although good, I thought was not prepared with the same enthusiasm as my main entree. It was warm in some places and cold in others. Kept me from thinking 5 star. read more

If you can get past awful awful service then this place is for you. The food is great! But after numerous tries with this place we finally gave up. Also, bring a jacket this place feels like Antarctica! read more

3.5 stars. My bridesmaids and I planned a day to do brunch a while ago and thought this place sounded like it had an amazing brunch menu. We made a reservation in advance and when we arrived we were seated immediately. However, upon being seated and given lunch menus, we were told that they no longer do brunch on Saturdays and only do it on Sundays now. I was so disappointed because we had been looking forward to enjoying some of what looked like the delicious brunch items they make and that I had read about in other reviews. We were already there, so we ended up just ordering an early lunch and coffee. The food we tried was really delicious. I just wish we could've known that brunch was only on Sundays and we would've done it that day instead. I didn't see anything on their website about it no longer being on Saturdays. When we asked about the regular breakfast menu (on their website) they said they didn't really do breakfast. I will likely be back to try their brunch, but it was a bit of a disappointing experience because we had all really been looking forward to it. It would be helpful if their website was updated to reflect their brunch days and hours. read more

2 stars because the bread and lemonade were good. The staff was also nice. That's pretty much where it ends. We ordered the calamari and crab nachos for appetizers. The crab dip for the nachos was okay but the chips were bland and soggy from the pico. The calamari was hard to find through all jalapeños, cabbage and other garnish. For our meals we got the pork and crab cake sandwiches. The pork was blah but the real disappointment was the crab cake sandwich. It was a thin, cold patty slapped haphazardly onto the bun and to add insult to injury the next one we saw come out of the kitchen was almost double in size so perhaps we were just unlucky? Sadly, we also paid for the upgrade for garlic fries which were overcooked and bland. Overall, not sure why such good reviews... read more

Food is amazing! I have been getting the specials on my most recent visits and they are always as great as the wait staff makes them sound. We used them for catering a few times also and it was very affordable and tasted like it never even left the restaurant doors. Anytime I have a business dinner or just want to take my wife out for date night we go here. I travel all the way from Warminster Pa to eat here and it is always worth the trip. Stay awesome Kitchen 519! read more

Meh I'm debating between a 2 or a 3. I think I would give the kitchen 519 another try before knocking it any lower. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was cute. I like that you can see the entire kitchen while walking through the restaurant. The appetizers were pretty good but they really failed on their entrees. To start we had a hummus plate and crab nachos. The hummus was perfect - it was blended with roasted red peppers which really gave a good strong flavor to the dish. The crab nachos were good too and had plenty of crab loaded on them. For my meal I had fish and chips. Both the fries and the fish were way over fried. The fries were really crunchy and the fish was dry. The other dishes at the table were fried calamari (which suffered the same fate as the fries and fish) and an interesting "ravioli" dish. I give them credit for trying something different but they really failed on execution. The dish has no pasta - instead it has zucchini that's stuffed with cheese and covered in a roasted red pepper sauce. Sounds interesting but it just didn't work. It's just long slices of zucchini with cheese rolled inside. Nothing like a ravioli. The desserts sounded interesting but we were all pretty full and didn't want to risk being disappointed again. read more

Good food and cool atmosphere but the wait time on the weekend was crazy. Ended up waiting till 8:50pm to sit for a 8:30 reservation. Service was average but the burger and fries are def recommended! read more

My wife and I tried this restaurant based on the reviews and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, Jordan (our waiter) was pleasant and attentive to our needs and the setting was very cool with local artistry on all of the walls. It is a small restaurant so it gets a little loud when full but not so loud to take away from the overall experience. We have already set up a dinner date with friends and look forward to our next great meal here. read more

Great place. Love the atmosphere. Food was great except the filet. It was fair at best. Stuffed avocado was unusually great, wedge salad was fantastic. Garlic fries unbelievable Cobia was great. My daughter said the burger was good. Desserts were great! read more

3.5 actually. My burger was a 4 and very good. Her breakfast was a 3. So we met in the middle. Server was a little off but id go back. The ruben soup was the star. If you go id stick to the sanwhiches and burgers. read more

Went here for lunch..this place still rocks and man is that salmon dish awesome!

This place is fantastic stop what you are doing and drive here right now. I've been here two times so far I have the inside out burger, the fry calamari, the Rojo pork sandwich and a house salad. This place is special just don't find this kind of quality preparation. The service is very good and the atmosphere is fun and hip. Air is art on the wall for sale as well as handmade dresses for little girls. Heck I'm going there for lunch today. read more

Friendly service. It's great that they had a vegan menu which is what drew us to this place. It's also near the highway and we were driving by on a long trip home. The buffalo chicken strips were really good--great texture. The tofu with the hoisin sauce was really good and interesting in the way it was cooked and the sauce was only okay. The caprese salad was good too. It's byob (they have a small wine list otherwise) and it was really crowded on a Saturday night and they took a reservation for us about 10 minutes before we arrived which was great. read more

On a date night we used Yelp to find a new place to try. The outside is nothing to look at and honestly if not for yelp I don't think we ever would have stopped, but we were not disappointed. The inside ambiance was pretty cool. They have artwork and cool mason jar lights and an artsy flair. It's a BYOB but they do sell bottles of wine. We got the crab nachos as an appetizer which were really yummy. I got the crab cake sandwich and it was really good. My fiance got the actual crab cake meal. He also liked it and it came with quinoa that he said had like a taco taste to it. I also got the garlic parmesan fries, which the waiter forgot I ordered so they gave them to me but took it off my bill which I thought was really nice. They were really good too. The crab cake was all crab not fillers like most places. The Sriracha aioli sauce was so good I could have drank it. The crab cake sandwich also came with a salad on your plate and the dressing that was on it was delicious. The only reason they lost a star is I got really sick about an hour after we left, it might not have had anything to do with the food but not sure. It might have just been a bug. We will be back again to try something else from the menu! read more

Yay for this place! Food is great and staff was friendly. Win. Win. I'll be returning for sure!

Huge portions, attentive service, and super helpful with a food allergy in our party. The food was mediocre. We got the crab cake grilled cheese, which was good. The grilled shrimp tacos were very disappointing - not hot/warm, under seasoned (I assume they rely on the spicy ranchero - I tried both with and without), and the tomatoes tasted sour. The tortilla chips didn't seem to be seasoned and the pico de gallo was bland. We also got a kids cheese quesadilla (substitution for the grilled cheese because of an allergy), which was good, but a gigantic portion. It was 4 taco sized tortillas filled with cheese (making 2 quesadillas) and an adult size portion of fries. The kids chocolate milk was huge - either a 12 or 16oz cup. read more

After reading such great reviews I just had to check this place out, so I went earlier this evening. We were sat immediately and noticed right away it was really chilly inside. I normally don't get cold easily and even I felt it a bit too chilly. No idea why they had the ac on anyway. It was a lovely day outside. Aaron was our server and he was just fine. The 3 stars comes from the food. My fiancé had the macadamia encrusted chicken while I had the beer battered fish and chips. I could tell she didn't like her chicken, so I asked. And she's nice so she said it was "fine." Whenever food is "fine" you know it's not good. She wouldn't tell me exactly what she didn't like about it, but she definitely didn't finish. I imagine it just had an odd taste? As for my fish and chips.. Bland and boring, honestly. The fish had absolutely no taste. And the sauce the served with it was just as good.. I found that dipping my fish in the hickory smoke ketchup gave at least an okay taste. I also didn't finish my meal and had it wrapped to take home. It was probably just poor choices on our parts but our first time here was nothing memorable. If we do, it'll be a while before we come back. read more

I celebrated my bday dinner at Kitchen 519, the atmosphere is cozy, the our server Dominic, was great, and the food was "DELICIOUS". I highly recommend this spot. Oh, they also have a kids menu. Check out!!!.. read more

A casual neighborhood restaurant. My family loves this place, I like it because of their vegan/vegetarian options. It's on the smaller side; cant be more than 25-30tables in the room, a cozy and intimate atmosphere. BYOB is another big bonus!! Food is really good. There's been a couple times I found my dinner to be subpar but for as many times as I've been there I guess a couple are to be expected. Plan on spending between $60-$80 for two adult meals and an appetizer. This place is a good choice for any occasion :) read more

So unique and not what you expect. Excellent food and service. Get the macadamia chicken and crab nachos!!

A really great menu and a fantastic brunch spot that is kid friendly, although no changing table in the bathroom. The food is well executed and the atmosphere reminds me of college places in Berkley, CA. I had the avocado egg sandwich which had a delicious aoli on it. The art on the walls from local artists is a great touch. Can't wait to try this place out for dinner. read more

We went on a Saturday. The food was great. Very unique menu. Both are meals looked and tasted fabulous. Awesome decor, very comfy. The reason I did not give 5 stars was our server, she messed up my spouses order (she confirmed it was her and not the kitchen), she was not attentive and over charged for our drinks. I gave 4 for the food and decor under the assumption she just had an off day. We will be back, so I will find out. read more

Wow! Forgetting eating in Philly and messing with the parking. If you are close its worth the trip over the river. I don't often given five stars but I can honestly say there was nothing I didn't like here. I had the house salad. Very simple but fresh and tasty. I must recommend the mussels. The broth is amazing. Finally I finished it with the rib eye, perfectly cooked, nice bone in cowboy. I subbed the potatoes for the seasonal veggie. It was sautéed spaghetti squash which was lovely. Service was helpful and friendly and the atmosphere feels like someones home. Very nice. Cant wait to come back. read more

Tried this funky little kitchen spot solely from Yelp reviews. I enjoyed a grilled Cobia special that practically melted in my mouth. Winter veggies were a bit overdone (carrots especially.) One star off for the horrifyingly disorganized waitstaff. No one seemed to know what was going on at 5:15pm when I came in -- this with 3 tables occupied in the whole place. Once someone figured out I was a customer rather than a figment, the fellow who took care of me was nice/courteous. While a tiny venue, it seems it could be easily be overrun with customers. Extremely limited parking lot. They post specials and events often on FB and IG. I plan to return with some local artists who look forward to checking the place out. read more
