Snowy night! Building looks great

I had the best service that I've ever had at a Friendly's: FRIENDLY, knowledgeable, attentive, welcoming--great service. I have loved clam rolls since I was a kid. It is offered on the Senior Menu. It was delicious--just like I remember. There is a certain atmosphere in a traditional stand alone Friendly's--that's the case here! Great homey environment.

Friendly's is an old favorite and a real treat whenever we get a chance to visit. Over the years, they have been disappearing, so we definitely want to come back for as long as they stay in business. I always get the same. The Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup. (except for when they didn't have it on the menu for some strange reason) It's just great comfort food. And gets you ready for the big sundae, which is always the Reese's Pieces Sundae with chocolate chip ice cream. It's the best. Service was great. No complaints. Can't wait to come back!

Everything was well delicious and"friendly " staff sweet and attentive would highly recommend coming to Deptford location bc this is where I came

Fantastic food and amazing service! Everything we tried was delicious--munchie mania flavorful, fresh. The staff was so welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even better. I only wish there was a location closer to home because I'd be a regular! Highly recommend if you're in the Deptford area."

Always a great time when we come here. Food is always delicious. Always get the honey barbecue super melt.

It's decent but has gone down hill over the decades a is what it is. So don't go in expecting 5 star anything - except maybe the ice cream.

Kid Rip's - Avocado Fries

Kid Rip's Tavern is a really fun spot with great food, a huge bar, and a lively atmosphere. The…read morefood is consistently very good -- the burgers are huge, the fries are amazing, and the crab fries (made with real crab meat) are absolutely delicious... and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like crab all that much. One of the most fun things on the menu is their chicken "thumbs," which are shaped like little hands -- I wish I took a picture because they're great and definitely something you don't see everywhere. Service can be a little hit or miss, but not because the staff isn't working hard -- it's a big place and when it gets busy, it really gets busy, and they sometimes seem a bit understaffed for the rush. That said, everyone is always very friendly, which makes a big difference and keeps the experience positive. They also have a huge bar with several beers on tap, great specialty drinks, and drink specials, so it's a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just maybe don't go if you're in a big rush -- go when you have time to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a good meal.

Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!

I ordered a hamburger and a "little" fries, which, as usual at Five Guys, was still more than enough. I ended up eating the food in the car and loved every bite. Service was good I got there when they first openned. The burger was exactly what I wanted: a little sloppy, in the best way, with real, quality meat and plenty of flavor. The fries were hot and plentiful. They delivered exactly what I was hoping for when I pulled in. This visit gets a full 5 stars from me.

Go ahead and add Five Guys to the list of places that just aren't worth the price anymore. FORTY…read moreDOLLARS, for 2 tiny, messy, crushed, sloppily slapped together burgers, and a dixie cup of the tiniest, saltiest, burnt french fry ENDS imaginable. A large fries here is EIGHT. DOLLARS. I spent EIGHT. DOLLARS. for a cup of potato butts that were fried within an inch of their life, and then bathed in salt, before being thrown upside down into a bag. I have been a fan of Five Guys since their humble DC Metro days. I remember when it was like TWO locations in Virginia, and we would take the drive to get the best fast food burger there was. When they shouted "2 in the door!," when you walked in, and you snacked on peanuts while reading where todays potatoes were from. Even though most of that still happens, it no longer feels like part of the charm, it feels like a CHORE. Back then, they CRAFTED your burger, because they wanted you to have the best burger of your life. They told you about where the fries came from, because they took pride in knowing that YOU know they care enough to know their damn potatoes lineage. Now, it's just page 3 of the employee handbook: "Write a city name on the board...who cares." It's not just this location either. All of Five Guys have gone down. The time before this time, at the Moorestown location, I remember having to go back in and ask for more fries, because I just couldn't believe the paltry amount of fries I received for, again, EIGHT FUCKING DOLLARS! A PAPER CUP SIZE OF FRIES! FOR $8!!!! It was me and the Misses, and it was FORTY. DOLLARS. for what isn't even that good of a burger anymore. And the fries were pitiful. I like Five Guys, and when they get it right, they are ALMOST worth the exorbitant cost. But, they just rarely, if ever, get it right anymore, and they still cost an arm and a leg. I won't be back until the quality comes up, or the prices come way down.

The windows were open for a great breeze, though turning the fans on would've helped with the sudden heat. Our waitress was kind ,on top of everything, and our drinks were poured very well. The seasonal strawberry crush cocktail looked especially nice with the light shining through its red color. The chicken quesadillas were grilled crisp on the outside with fillings that blended together nicely. The southwest chicken salad was plated beautifully and, once mixed, had a crispy backyard BBQ kind of flavor. Since it's my birthday month I used my free treat on the salty-sweet Salted Caramel Cookie and skipped the ice cream so I could take it home and enjoy it on its own.

And, I was and I am but I really appreciated the attention. She asked my name and an hour or so later as I left she called me by name. My server was SUPERB... always smiling and carefully checking up on me. The restaurant was bright, noisy with a fun "sports bar" atmosphere and filled with customers of all ages. The multiple TV's created a colorful upbeat feeling that was perfect for a Friday night. My French Onion soup was good and cheesy! Now my chicken cheesesteak had more empty roll that should have been filled with chicken (I left two sizable empty roll corners for the trashman.). And the fries were ok with too many overdone not worthy of consuming. But thanks to the service I left FIVE STAR happy!! I joined their club and I will be back ...
