I absolutely love this restaurant for both lunch or dinner. Crab cakes are always a great choice as well as their Ahi Tuna. Sides included with entrees are always interesting and compliment the entree perfectly. And if you enjoy dessert.... Fried Oreo sundae, bananas foster or creme brûlée are amongst my favs. read more

I had stopped here for lunch in the summer and LOVED it! The soup was amazing and both my, and my son's lunches were excellent. I couldn't wait to come back, and so tonight, brought my husband for dinner on our way home from the Gloucester outlets. We couldn't wait to try diner at the restaurant I had built up so much to him. We were so dissappointed! He ordered the blackened cobia, which was okay, nothing special and a very small portion of fish, and I had the "fillet" and the up charged garlic fries (at the waitresses suggestion when I said I felt like steak). Well the steak was cooked correctly, but was tough, sinewy, chewy and definitely not a fillet. When I questioned the waitress, she said it's usually good, and had no comment about the extensive sinew I showed her. When she came back I asked her to ask the chef what the steak was and she said it was fillet of sirloin. First of all, a real sirloin steak would have been more tender and tasty than that was, and secondly you don't call it a fillet on the menu! Nobody seemed to care. I told the waitress, and politely, told a "family member" on my way out, and he said he'd pass it along. I am a huge fan of complimenting and commending any restaurant or service that does a great job, and I feel badly that tonight it's negative comment, but I could have bought two very good, expensive steaks and prepared them correctly at home for what our bill came to. This was not a good experience and it was disturbing that they just didn't care. read more

The food was amazing! Had the jerk barbque Salmon. The roasted potatoes and side of kale was yummmmmy. Definitely coming back

Great restaurant with gourmet meals at a terrific price. If you're in the neighborhood, it's a must visit. Portions are large, come with an appetite, my 11 year old's chicken tenders and fries would be too much for me to eat. read more

Wow! This was a real, very pleasant, surprise. We came here because a review said it was a good place for a mixed group of vegetarians and carnivores. What it didn't say loud enough was that everything is ridiculously good. It was the best meal any of us had had for quite some time. Everything from the deep fried avocado appetizer to the chicken caprese pasta to the grilled Caesar salad to the blood orange gelato was fabulous. It will be a long time until we forget that meal and the wonderful service, but it will be a short time until we go there again. It was just great. read more

Best restaurant in the area by far. I definitely recommend the burgers and the grilled cheese! Anything they make is fantastically!

We found this place on yelp as it was down the street from relatives we were visiting and looked the best from the Philly airport to where they lived. It was great, totally would have been worth a15 minute detour if that would have been the case. read more

Great date night! Absolutely loved our experience! Delicious food great atmosphere and very attentive weight staff. Obviously you can't beat BYOB as well. We will definitely be back! read more

BYOB. Fantastic staff, fantastic service, and fantastic design. Family friendly and will continue to visit often.

My friend had been talking about 519 since it opened and telling how she wished I wasn't in Florida because she knew I would love it. I did return to NJ and made reservations there for dinner. My friend was right. I did love it! It is a BYOB with a menu with something for everyone. I chose the Cobia which my friend recommended. It is a fish native to FL so I was a little skeptical but it was cooked perfectly and topped with lump crab meat. The four us all enjoyed our dinners but went all out and ordered dessert. My husband was overjoyed to find a dessert on the menu that didn't contain eggs, Bananas Foster. He has an egg allergy. Having no problem with eggs I ordered the crème brûlée. The perfect ending to a delicious meal. The staff and service were great and the price was surprisingly modest for such an elegantly prepared feast. Also all the art work by local artists on the walls are for sale. read more

I visited Kitchen 519 based on the rave reviews of a friend. It was such a disappointment! The restaurant was very noisy and lacked a cohesive atmosphere. I'm all for a quirky place but the decor made me wonder what exactly they're going for. The service was lackluster. Our server was not attentive and was nowhere to be seen for most of our meal. The menu looked great with many creative ingredient combinations. Each person at my table had a meal that was mediocre. read more

We came to visit some friends around the area and that's how we stumbled across this place. Like I usually do I yelp what's around the area. And I was so happy with my choice. This place was very nice and home like. Everyone from the hostess, our waitress even the bus boy was very nice. Our waitress was very helpful with suggestions on the menu, which we really appreciated. We started Of with the calamari in housing sauce and it was delicious, could of used a little more sauce but regardless it was still delicious. My husband had the crab cake sandwich and let's just say his plate was completely empty. I had grilled salmon, and even though it's a basic dish it had great taste. The salmon had the perfect crispy top and the mash potatoes and corn it came with was a perfect sides to it. For dessert we ordered the banana foster and it was just amazing. Sadly we live 2 hrs away but when we come back this way, we will definitely be making another stop here. O and it it's BYOB! read more

I love this restaurant. Their buffalo "chicken" wings are so good. It's great for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. The food and service are wonderful and I plan on coming back whenever I'm in town. read more

We've been to Kitchen 519 about 20 or 30 times. Every time we go, for brunch or dinner, the food is amazing. 5/5. Excellent. Truthfully. So why the 3/5 rating? The service is consistently slow. The wait staff is always friendly, but you need to block out hours of your time to eat there. Yesterday when my husband said he wanted to go, I was starving, so I ate a snack before we left knowing it would take forever to get our food. It ended up taking 54 minutes from when we ordered to when our food arrived, and my meal (pancakes) didn't come out until 5 minutes after the rest of the food at our table. I hate that. I spent 5 minutes telling everyone else " no no... go head... eat..." while they just waited and let their food get cold. Awkward. Honestly, the food is SO good and it is so close to our house that we'd probably go once a week if I didn't get so annoyed every time with the service. Check it out, but make sure you have an afternoon to spend and a lot of patience. read more

I have mixed feelings on this place. I find that it's inconsistent. I've had some meals that were great and some that are mediocre. Dining in has been a better experience than taking out. Worth a try if you haven't gone. read more

Quaint, eclectic and delicious. Food was yummy and the atmosphere only added to the charm.

I love coming to this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and fair, the restaurant is unique and cozy, and I have never had bad service. I love the chicken tacos and recommend the soda if they still have it (they didn't the last time I was there) read more

My boyrfiend and I got awful food poisoning and very sick from eating here. We ordered the Cuban Flautas, Calamari, Chicken Salad and Powerhouse Salad. We wanted to try a healthy restaurant that promoted having fresh, healthy, made-from-scratch food. The service was slow and inattentive as well. Our Saturday reservations were made for 7:45pm and we were not seated until 8:15pm. We were asked if we had any allergies, to which we explained we had a dairy allergy and requested the Flautas exclude cheese if possible, if it was not possible to bring out the fried pickles. The server never came back to let us know if it was possible to exclude cheese and we just got the flautas... witch cheese. So I guess he forgot to look into it. We really wanted to like this place since it's hard to find healthy, non-chain restaurants with good salads. This was our first time here and our last unfortunately. read more

Amazing! Thanks Alec for hooking it us up with the fried Oreo sundae even though it was off the menu! Everything we ordered and everyone was fantastic. read more

Incredibly amazing soulful meal that pleased the taste buds, delighted the eyes and was gentle on the purse. We enjoy coming to the quaint Kitchen 519 for a fabulous dinner for a "just the two of us" date night, the "I'm going out with the boos night" and "hey honey, we're meeting the others for couple hangout night" No matter what the reason this IS THE PLACE to go. Love all the elements of this cozy openly friendly beautiful place. Peace. read more

This is how restaurants are supposed to be. Nice simple decor, warm staff and creative, unique food. I will definitely be going again.

This place is great! Small and cozy interior. The food was fresh and delicious. My husband and myself couldn't help but eat each others food, it was all that good. The chorizo mussels are a must and the Thai gumbo was different and fantastic. We came in aroud 8pm for dinner and we were very welcomed and the food tasted very freshly made, not what was left over from the day. Also it's byob! Can't wait until my next visit! read more

Absolutely disgusting. The food was undercooked and the service was terrible. My table was dirty. Doesn't deserve any stars

Nice casual place with good food BYOB. Had dinner there last night. Décor was cute and kitschy, Music was turned up way too loud, and the lights were too bright for dinner time, IMHO. I want a little more chill atmosphere after a long work day. Mussels Appetizer $12 was a standout, with delicious chorizo and bread for dipping. Fish Tacos $13 were OK. Fish was fresh and well cooked but the Taco lacked any sort of sauce , and the slaw was a bit dry as well. Some Aioli, or salsa, would have been nice. We were offered hot sauce but I didn't want spicy I wanted moisture. Blackened Cobia $27 was Delicious and perfectly cooked! Dessert was a little disappointing the Fried Oreo Sundae $8 took so long to come to the table that the Oreo's were no longer warm, and gooey..... so it was just ice cream and cookies by then. :( Service was very friendly and welcoming. Overall a nice experience. read more

It was a cold and rainy day that my mom, aunt and I decided to venture out to find something to eat. I remember seeing someone on fb post reviews on a kitchen 519 and I suggested it for lunch this day. All I can say...it was worth the drive. We were the only people in the restaurant for a while(probably due to weather), but we did not care....the food was amazing! I ordered the oyster po' boy-which was a special, my mom had the inside out burger and my aunt had a pork sandwich. Everything was delicious. We ordered an appetizer of crab nachos to start...everyone must try! We ordered dessert just because everything was delicious and we couldn't pass anything up! I had the whiskey bread pudding, my mom had a coconut banana creme brûlée---which was amazing if you like bananas (I'm not a fan of bananas--she loved it) and my aunt had the best dessert of the day. She ordered the bacon chocolate sundae! I know it probably sounds nasty... But let me tell you..it was great! I'm talking a salty, chocolate concoction of heaven.... Wooooo. All I can say is make a trip and go! It's worth it! read more

My wife took me and my father in law here today for a father's day brunch. We live in Glendora and we've been to Kitchen 519 a dozen times and have always enjoyed it. We felt the service was lacking at times but seems to have come together nicely. Today was my first brunch and I was looking at the breakfast burger but after hearing the specials I went with the pork belly burrito. It was awesome. My father in laws steak and eggs was cooked perfectly. My daughter got the the smores creme brulee and we all got into it. I'm glad they're doing well. read more

Great food great atmosphere a hidden gem in Glendora. Have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal

This place does not look like much from the outside, but when you step inside its beautiful. There are lots of cute touches like mason jar glasses and local art on the walls. The food was great! We tried the Fried Avocado small plate then followed with the Lunacy IPA fish and Chips and the Inside Out Burger. We will return. Reservations are suggested, which we didn't know when we got there but they accommodated us with no delay. read more

This place is awesome! What a great place to enjoy with friends or family. It doesn't really look like much on the outside and parking stinks, but let's be real and talk about service and food! Crab cakes are bangin! These are a must. My friend ordered tacos which looked wonderful and tasted great! The best part, they make you feel at home. No uptight servers and environment is so cute with local art and let me just say, yes, that light fixture! On point! Adorable! Best part BYOB! Put Kitchen 519 on your list for a girls night out! read more

We were a group of five and everyone enjoyed their meals. My only complaint would be that I ordered my salmon as rare as possible ... and one of the others ordered the same dish, but didn't specify the doneness. The server and I even had a discussion wherein I said I'd like it still jumping on the plate. When they arrived, I said "which is which?" and cut into the center of each to see. They were both well done and the server said, "Oh, yeah, they cooked them both the same. Sorry." I did enjoy the originality of many of the selections. I'm willing to try them again (but doubt I'll order salmon). read more

We went there as a party of 8 this past week and they were very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. I personally had the steak frites entree and it was cooked perfectly! For an appetizer we did the garlic fries and calamari. I would definitely recommend it and the only thing I regret is that I haven't tried this place sooner. We will definitely be back! read more
