I do not typically write reviews but I had to say something after my experience at 121. I had the bulgogi bowl the other day and the beef was prepared just right. Today I had the California rolls which were the best I've ever had. If you like Asian food and you like Asian fusion food you will love this place. They make you feel so at home from the time you walk in the door, the ingredients are always fresh and you feel like you are getting something really special. Everyone needs to check out this new restaurant! I came here for the first time yesterday and I will definitely be back again. First, the food was amazing!! I had the Sushi Bowl #3, the Hawaiian Classic Salmon Bowl. Other places that serve sushi bowls, they serve it in small to-go bowls and it makes it hard to mix everything. But here, they serve it in a perfect sized bowl, which makes it easy to eat. I also got the Special Roll #4, the 121 Special Eel Roll. The taste was perfect! I definitely would love to come back and try their other rolls. Other than the food, the service was excellent! Our server, Sarah, was really nice and welcoming when I first walked in. She never let me run out of water or soup. She was very attentive and smiled every time she came to check up on our table. She made my visit very worthwhile! The chefs were also very nice! One of our new favorite restaurants in town. Fantastic selection of perfectly rolled and fresh sushi. Each roll was filled with the perfect amount of fish and the rice was the perfect consistency. We also had the Korean Chicken and Garlic Soy Chicken, which is a menu item that received some of the highest reviews. I drive two cities over for this great restaurant. The service, food, and atmosphere are amazing. It's decorated beautifully and the music is excellent. Did I mention the food? Wow, the food is so good and you want to order more to take home. I recommend the Shrimp Tempura as an appetizer and the Grilled Shrimp sushi bowl. So here is the situation, there are very very very few excellent Korean spots in gwinnett, there aren't even that many good restaurants... This place is on the list of restaurants (that I can count on at most two hands) that I would say are an absolute must! I went last Friday night and ordered the Korean fried chicken, I wasn't sure what to expect but the people sitting at the table next to me said it was exceptional. The waiter(who was very attentive and polite) brought me a miso soup on the house which I thought was a lovely gesture since he noticed that I was a new patron. Well, this is where it gets really fun, the miso came out with a sample of a new menu item (a type of sweet soy sticky chicken) that was heavenly. The fried chicken was flavorful and moist (I hate that word but that's the only appropriate description). The food is kind of... Perfect! They have made a new regular out of me! Awesome food, friendly attentive service, great ambiance, only thing that could make it better is some K-pop in the background! read more

This is probably my favorite sushi place. The two of us ordered a spicy tuna rice paper roll and yummy yummy roll (both shared). We were STUFFED! I'm not a fan of rice paper but it was still pretty good. The yummy yummy roll was definitely my favorite! I usually hate sushi with cream cheese because often times people make it with too much cream cheese. They made it perfectly; the flavor really complimented the overall roll. Also, they give you unlimited AMAZING miso soup, as you wait for your sushi. The guy who helped us was super sweet and frequently checked up on us for miso soup or drink refills. The experience at this restaurant was such a pleasant one. The server was very personable and attentive, even better; the food is so good. The 4 of us all had different meals and all of us were quite pleased. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. The owner/cook came out to greet us and gave us a sample of a chicken appetizer which was delicious.
