First time trying King's Kitchen at their new location. The place is definitely bigger than the old spot on 53rd St, which is nice. I got the roasted duck with flat noodle soup and pandan toast. The roasted duck noodle soup is always my go-to. The broth is hearty and comforting, just hits the spot. You'd think the duck would make it oily, but it doesn't at all. The flat noodles have a great chewy texture, everything just works together perfectly. The pandan toast was surprisingly good too. The spread wasn't too thick or too sweet, just enough flavor to go with the toast. Still the same great food, just in a bigger, more comfortable space.

This is currently my go-to spot in Brooklyn for roasted meats since my favorite spot closed down. I love that their char siu and roasted pork aren't very fatty, but still tender and flavorful.

This newer Brooklyn location is a nicer and brighter take than the other two Brooklyn spots, though it's still tight inside with the same typical Chinese restaurant style service. Parking is tough around here, so driving in isn't the easiest. At the end of the day, it's a solid neighborhood spot with BBQ meats that hits every time, fresh rice rolls, and comforting individual clay pot rice. I liked the stir fry beef ho fun, and my go to's are the roast duck and shumai rice rolls. This location has added dishes like kaya toast, soft shell crab, roasted squab, skewers, lobster fried rice, and beetroot rice rolls, though I haven't tried any of those yet. I'll be back to try them. It's a reliable spot to grab a familiar, satisfying meal if you're in the area.

This restaurant is very close to subway and bus stop, however, it does not have parking lot. The restaurant is very small and not good for big groups. We had a party of four and our table was full and could not fit any more dishes once all our food came. People were sitting right next to you and behind you, so no privacy at all. The shrimp rice rolls were small in size even though the shrimps were decent size. The wonton noodle soup and roasted duck noodle soup were tasty. The egg noodles tenderness was about right and the soup base was good. The portion of the noodle was generous. The eel in the eel claypot was juicy, but the amount of rice and eel was very little. Unfortunately, one order was unable to fill up an adult. The service was not exceptional, but acceptable. Cash only, but sales tax was charged and no discount was given for cash payment.

If I can give 0 star, I will!!! This store kept some pieces from you, beware!! I was shopping half roast duck tonight and the cutter save a big piece of meat for later. If each half duck save a piece or two than 2 ducks can save another complete order for roast duck rice. I am paying others meat!! I found that and talk to the cashier, she denied it for sure and the cutter just ignored me and walk away. This store is chained and this is their another sunset park extension. Hired all mandarin speaking staff, I was so disappointed and angry! I know the owner many years, don't know they are not the same before! Never shop here again. Bad choice for me! I used to go for the 53rd and 8th Ave main store! They are the best! Beware, scammers are everywhere now!!

Claypot Rice: steamed meat with egg.

The Claypot Rice is so .... Good! Came out nice in hot temperature. Adding their soy sauce makes it more delicious. The rice at bottom is crispy. Highly recommended. Good for one person.

Came here on a recommendation to try their claypot rice. Unfortunately it was too late and they didn't have enough time to make it before they closed. We instead got wonton noodle soup, dumpling noodle soup, braised duck with chestnut over white rice and beef skewered and pork neck skewers. This place is sleek and very clean looking. The wonton noodle soup broth was good (wish it was a hotter), the egg noodles were bouncey and the wonton had a good ration of pork to shrimp. The dumplings in the soup were meaty and tasty too. The braised duck with chestnuts was different but good. Typical braised duck flavor. Should have been more meat than bones. The steamed beef rice rolls were not great. Will be back to try the claypot rice for what there known for.

price - $70 including tax and tip food - 4.5/5 service - 4/5 ambiance - 3/5 overall, this restaurant is a place where you can get soul food - cantonese style! if you order their peking duck you get to choose between a fried rice or soup add on (included in the order). you can also make mini sandwiches with their bao and sides/sauces. their red wine meat claypot is soooo good! it has so much flavor and the meat was tender as well! the service was pretty good and theyre definitely nicer when you can communicate in cantonese with the servers! ambiance was okay since the interior design is really bright, however the tables were pretty tight and close together.

I'm so happy that there's a Kings Kitchen near my neighborhood. Kings Kitchen is a popular destination for both locals and visitors. This place is affordable and portions are generous. Friendly and attentive service may encounter occasional wait times during peak hours due to its popularity. I highly recommend their clay pot yum. Overall, it's a great choice for authentic Southern cuisine. The ambiance at King's Kitchen in Brooklyn is casual and comfortable. And if you're craving for a drink nearby? You should stop by HEYTEA. It's located on 59th St & 7th Ave.

Came in around 2:45PM on New Years, was crowded but there were tables. Food was delicious and adorable. The congee was just right! Would come back again!

Nice ambience compared to their other chains, located in the nice corner location. The waitress offered very good service and the food was also very good. Ordered the duck & cha siu ho fun with soup.

King's Kitchen has been my family's go-to restaurant in my neighborhood for years. We love their cantonese food especially char siu, siu yuk, and clay pot rice. I'm so hyped to know they recently opened a new store near 8 Av with modern furnishing and new menu. Their owner and staff are really sweet. They truly value customers' feedback. I can tell their food and service have greatly improved since grand opening. 100% recommend if you look for a homey spot for cantonese food and family gatherings. * Taro w. Preserved Meat Rice Clay Pot 芋頭臘味煲仔飯** You have to order their signature clay pot rice. They also offer a variety of other toppings, like minced meat, salted fish, and ribs. The crispy rice bottom was the highlight. Drizzle some soy sauce over the meat and rice, mix well, then you can taste the authentic HK style clay pot rice. *Char Siu, Crispy Roasted Pork 叉燒燒肉雙拼** Their char siu is one of the best I can find in Brooklyn. The sauce is on the sweeter side. The crispy roasted pork has a perfect meat-to-fat ratio. *Chilled Braised Beef Shank 醬飛牛腱 It came in a good amount of meat. The chili sauce added a spicy kick to the beef shank. *Pandan Kaya Toast 香蘭多士 My friend's favorite. Steamed in a bamboo basket, the bread was fluffy and soft, with a thick layer of pandan kaya spread. *Jasmine Lemon Tea 檸檬茉莉花茶** OMG their jasmine lemon tea was a surprise! Not too sweet, very refreshing. It surpassed the lemon tea from other HK cafes. *Double Layer Milk Custard 仿真雙皮奶 薑汁雙皮奶 is my favorite HK traditional dessert. Unfortunately the ginger one wasn't available the last two times we came. I didn't like this og flavor as it was overly sweet and the texture was more solid than the one I used to have.

Newest location! Kings Kitchen has slowly expanded over the last few years. They now have multiple locations across the Brooklyn Chinese communities, along with 1 location in Chinatown, Manhattan. Kings Kitchen is well known for their clay pot rice, rice noodles, and assorted bbq meats. All locations have a similar interior design. For this location, the staff were quite friendly and attentive. Service was busy, given the prime lunch hours. Food came fast, and customers were in and out. With reasonable prices and good-sized portions, I'm sure this location will quickly become a local favorite.

The menu also says it comes with house special dessert but we never gotten any. For any seafood, it's market price plus they add a 30% processing fee, which is strange to me. For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.

As a lover of Dim Sum, I start my weekend morning by making the long commute just to get a taste of everything. The spot is constantly bustling with people moving in and out of the restaurant, the waiters running around, the carts strolling to each table, etc. These days, cart services have been decreasing, but it's nice to see that some spots have still kept them around. My rotation always includes the following-har gow, deep-fried noodlefish, shrimp cheong fun (rice noodle roll), zhaliang (fried dough rice noodle roll), chicken feet, and beef tripe-and now more recently, salt and pepper squid. I'm not even joking when I say this, but my mouth was salivating when they placed everything in front of us. Everything was fresh and just so full of flavor. I randomly get reminded of the taste and suddenly crave it again. We also have to thank the wonderful expeditors who would make sure we got everything we wanted. When the salt and pepper squid had run out of the carts, they made sure to request more for our table and got us a fresh, hot, and steaming plate of it. Everything at dimsum might seem very hectic and quick, but when you're sitting down with your family and friends, it can really feel calming. They also give you a choice of tea; we love getting chrysanthemum to wash down the grease from the fried food. There's no wonder people make this a weekly routine; it's just got everything you could need.

The busy neighborhood setting means the interior is often shaped by crowds, and during peak weekend hours it fills up quickly. We saw people lined up outside waiting for tables before we even made it through the door. The core experience here is centered around classic push cart dim sum service. Servers moved through the dining room with carts, offering a rotating selection of dumplings, buns, and other small plates. We spotted har gow, shumai, chicken feet, and spare ribs as part of the typical spread. There were also more varied items like beef offal and pepper beef ribs that showed up depending on which cart passed by. It felt like a small discovery every time a new cart rounded the corner. Service is fast paced and structured around the flow of carts and seating turnover. Things got chaotic during the busy period, with wait times and seating queues feeling like a normal part of the experience. Once we were seated, dishes started arriving quickly, but the pace of ordering depended on catching carts as they circulated through the room. You have to stay alert, or you might miss something you wanted.
