Excellent food and service, will be a repeat customer many times. Ask for Tracy to serve you she is fantastic.

Drinks are amazing! Great staff too. It's a little loud in the evening time, with a darker setting. Great for dates.

We Absolutely love this place! So glad that we were able to eat even without reservation. So grateful to have a "normal" date night with hubby during this pandemic time read more

Great atmosphere and delicious food. I like the bar area and music. Drinks are interesting too.

Overcharged my group $80-90 by adding drinks that we didn't order. We didn't notice until a few days later. Double check your receipt here.

One of my favorite spots!! Good food and drinks! So far the purple rain is my favorite.

First time there, very cute decor, love the ambience. Very nice and cozy and romantic setting. We ordered pad thai it was amazing! Must try. And appetizer sampler. It is plenty of food and of course Thai Tea Latte. I would love to come back and try more. I thought menu had lots of noodle, like soupy kind. Not much variety in my eye but bcz things I tried was so delicious, love to try more on menu. read more

I loved their virtual menu! Our waitress was very nice and she made some great suggestions. The food was so amazing, I didn't have time to take pictures. Definitely ask for recommendations. The Thai Flower Dumplings are a MUST! I ordered the melonic cocktail which I felt was a bit weak for the price but it was beautiful and I loved the taste. Pad Thai was amazing as well! We will be back for more! read more

Have been here about 10 times and never disappoints!! Amazing food, vibe and service. Often they have live music inside which can be a little loud. Plenty of outdoor seating though. read more

Truly can't say enough good things about Kin Dee. The apps, drinks, food, and desserts were all incredible, the details of all the aesthetics are so cute and fun, and the pricing is totally reasonable. I loved the Northern Style Curry and already can't wait to have it again! We were fortunate enough to meet one of the owners and she was SO sweet and funny! I highly recommend taking advantage of the HRW menu while it's available to get the full experience. read more

Phenomenal Thai food AND experience. Impeccably clean restaurant, kind and friendly staff, and high quality Thai food. We have tried Thai food all over houston and this is most definitely one of our new favorites. We will be back! read more

Couldn't be more excited about Kin Dee having opened! We have been here twice now and each time the food was absolutely incredible, the drinks amazing and the staff super friendly and attentive! Couldn't recommend it enough! read more

We started with a Tom Yum cocktail created with "the Spirit of Thailand" and came with a fresh Thai Pepper on top, which was smooth and pleasing, and the Blue Pea Flower Dumplings which were not only beautiful, but delicious as well! The Basil Chicken and Northern Curry Chicken rounded out our meal. We both ordered our food spicy, and they definitely deliver here! The complexity of the flavors in the Basil Chicken made every bite a new experience! The fish sauce that came with had bits of fresh Thai pepper in it as well! The Northern Curry Chicken was superb, but just a little salty for my diabetic husband. We finished up with the Coconut Ice Cream which was the perfect item to sooth our palette after the complexity of the meal. read more

Not impressed. I picked a popular menu item, and it tasted like something I've made at home before, except it was better at home.

The dishes we had were a little bland and not a reflection on true Thai cuisine unfortunately. Service was friendly and prompt. As a restaurateur, it was a disappointing lunchtime visit, willing to give them a second chance and try some other dishes on the menu. read more

I love this place. The portions are perfect and packed with SO much flavor. The Pad Thai has nice savory, seasoned chucks of chicken. The consistency of the Sweet Mango Rice is nice and firm. My first impression was that the food was OK. After the first bite, I was hooked. This is a classic case of never having great, AUTHENTIC Thai. read more

This place is so dang good. Best Thai Food in Houston and the most unique Thai Food that I have ever had. Everything from the overall atmosphere, to the table settings is just fantastic. read more

We chose Kin Dee for a girls dinner, and had an enjoyable experience overall. Each of us had a couple of cocktails a piece - all were great and well worth the $12+ price points. We shared the Thai Papaya Salad (medium heat - so good!) as well as the All in One Sampler platter and the Shrimp Pad Thai - both had great flavor, but unfortunately came out cold. I honestly would have given this restaurant 4 stars, however the price of the food plus it coming to the table cold sadly changed that. read more

Y'all. The pad Thai was the best I've ever had in my life. I know I know it's the most basic thing and I typically don't like it because of the sweetness overload and syrupy sauce. This tasted authentic and comes incased in your scrambled egg. Just try it. Seriously. I'll be back! read more

Everything is awesome. Service is great, food is beyond excellent, and very authentic. Atmosphere is very cool and well appointed, and there is plenty of parking. Would be a great date spot, or cool hangs with friends. We had the dry pork noodles, and spicy pork noodle soup. Both were an 11/10. Be wary of your spice level, as I'm super spice tolerant and medium was almost too spicy. Not a problem as they also provide you with a fantastic spice rack (real stuff). Go here. Srsly...... read more

This place is gentrified. The food lacked any hint of Asian flavor. Extremely disappointing because it's expensive for no reason. I don't think the original chefs were the ones cooking the food that day since the food was so underwhelming. We were told that the spice level was "spicy" so to be safe we order medium spice and upon receiving the pad kra pao, it lacked both heat and flavor. There were no hints of soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, or even Thai chilis. The fried rice had absolutely no flavor. It was as if everything was cooked individually and then put together with no seasoning. The atmosphere is nice, food presentation is picture worthy, and the waitress that served as was friendly but the food was really bland. The most flavorful item that I ordered was the Tom Yum drink which was definitely a unique drink. Really wanted to like this place but with the amount of money I spent for just 2 people, I expected way more. read more

This place was everything. The good was great, the ambiance was perfect. It was overall a great experience

My experience here was phenomenal. There was little to no wait, granted we went here on a Thursday night, and the food arrived very fast. The live music was at a perfect level to enjoy but still hold a conversation. We ordered the panang curry and the flavor profile was perfect. I do wish there were vegetables rather than just chicken, but it was still very yummy. We got the sticky rice and coconut ice-cream for dessert, and were blown away. It wasn't too sweet, but gave us the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend!! read more

Kin Dee - Thai Near Me - Houston, Texas

Literally the best Thai restaurant in Houston! It's women owned and you can tell! This place has a ambiance like no other. Beautiful decor, excellent service and the most amazing food I have had in a very long time! I had flower dumplings, northern style curry and crab fried rice and for dessert we had the mango sticky rice. It was the best version of this I have had since we visited thailand. All dishes were delicious. Will definitely be back. read more

What a wonderful restaurant. I booked for 12 people a few days before Christmas and they provided a family style meal. The food was amazing, some of the best I've had in Houston. It was also so much for the price. The service was incredible and the live music just added the perfect touch. We will definately be heading back. Thank you so much Will Brannon for letting us have such a large group right before the holidays. It was such a nice experience. read more

Our new favorite stop in the Heights! We had the All-in-one sampler, the drunken noodles, and banana tart!

Really enjoyed the appetizers. We had the flower dumplings and the money bags. They both tasted great! The appetizers came out quickly but then we had to wait 45 minutes for our food which seemed like forever. They were filling a lot of to go orders but it didn't seem right to me to keep the customers in the restaurant waiting for so long to fill to go orders. Once we finally got our food, the northern style curry was tasty but the stir fry glass noodles were just ok. The music entertainment was great and helped me get through the long wait for our food. read more

We went here based off reviews, and not am I glad we did. We got a Thai tea latte, butterfly pea flower tea, and the Thai flower dumplings for starters. All amazing. The dumplings were such a fun and exotic taste/texture experience. Put a piece of chile and cilantro on each one, and you have an amazing merriment of flavors: peanuts, garlic, jalapeños, chile pepper, cilantro, etc. and the textures ranged from chewy/gummy to crunchy...I can't explain the awesomeness. My sinuses we're definitely open an alive after that. Then I got the Basil Chicken (chef's kiss), and hubby got the spicy pork bowl. No complaints here. Food was perfect. Lastly, we got mango sticky rice with coconut ice team on top. Hubby was skeptical because he doesn't really like mango or coconut (or "hot rice for dessert???"), but even he was singing the desserts praises. Can't wait to go back. The atmosphere is magical down to the heavy gold silverware and chopsticks. read more

Food and service was AMAZING would go again just for the shrimps in a blanket! Go here it's so good! Great for date nights and live performances read more

Great takeout operation and yummy food. The pad Thai is among the best I have ever had -- flavorful with meaty shrimp. The northern curry chicken was cooked perfectly. The bbq pork with dry noodles was probably the weakest item, but still good. Food is prepared with quality ingredients, because my husband and I almost finished 3 entrees, and neither of us felt bloated or weighted down as can sometimes happen with this type of cuisine. Nice addition to the neighborhood!! read more

The stir fried Thai basil chicken was awful. The boat noodle soup had huge lumps of pig fat. Was it supposed to be meat? Cafeteria atmosphere with young crowd who apparently never tasted real Thai food. Service and live guitarist were okay. read more

Popped in for a quick dinner and boy did it surpass our expectations. We ordered the flower dumplings which have a sweet peanut taste with a salty kick and the shrimp Tom Yum soup. I ordered mine as medium heat and it was the perfect amount of spicy. Warning: next level spicy is overwhelming if you do not typically eat spicy food (clears the sinuses though!). Lastly, we finished off with the classic mango and sticky rice dessert which was as the perfect combo of warm rice with a cold creamy coconut ice cream on top. I would say the food was 8/10, but the customer service was absolutely fantastic. Drinks were constantly filled, we were checked on frequently to ensure our food was tasty, and even given a complimentary soda because the level 4 spicy soup required more than water to be relieved! The waitress was very thoughtful and that's why I give this place an extra star. Will be back soon! read more

This place is amazing. Gorgeous interior, friendly staff and the food is best of all. We had the Drunken Noodles and the Northern Style Curry, both of which were perfectly delicious. I plan to keep coming back and work my way through the entire menu! read more

Ordered a vegetarian dish, they send us non vegetarian dish that conatined shrimp. My sister is EXTREMELY allergic to shrimp. We explained the emergency and they wouldn't let us leave until we paid. Most of the food was untouched and they STILL CHARGED US FOR THE PLATE WITH SHRIMP. Its fine but the way they delt with the situation was disappointing. read more

The purple dumpling is good! Everything tastes amazing. But we didn't try the cocktail this time. Really wanted to try the pineapple cocktail next time. The only thing is sometimes the music gets too loud and I can't talk to my friends at all read more

I first ordered from here during quarantine and thought it was very good but a little expensive. We would get 2 Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice and before delivery charges it was about $50. Once we were able to go inside the restaurant I understood why. The atmosphere is fun, the decor is trendy, and the food presentation is beautiful. We got the moneybags as an appetizer, northern style curry, Thai omelet with crab meat, and pandan cake for dessert. It was all delicious! I will definitely be back. read more
