The food was amazing and fresh. The service was wonderful. My mom had a cocktail that she loved. We will definitely be back.

Every single dish served here is just excellent. Smooth vibes and atmosphere, and the restaurant is well managed and run professionally all the way around, from hostesses, wait staff, food runners, and bartenders. read more

What a neighborhood gem!!! Excellent food and great service.... pleasant outdoor seating too. Will return

High prices, even after allowing for inflation. $20 fir drunken noodles? Very modest portions. (We ordered take out. Maybe they dial portions back to fit in take out containers? Both standard black rectangular take out containers were 1/2 empty. Chicken dish (forgot the name) was ordered mild. It was so spicy it was inedible. (I usually order medium at most Thai places but will do mild for my first try until I know their style.) in a field of endless Houston Thai spots, no for me dawg. read more

Second time to Kin Dee, the presentation is award winning . Impressed . The food is just as impressive. Had a variety of items and from Money Bags to Pad Thai. Everything was delicious. We had Mango sticky rice for dessert and wow .. 5 stars to creator of this fabulous Thai Gem. Will be back soon read more

Went for the first time the other day, cute interior, there was live music, not a very big menu which I like. Food was good, just not hot, warm I would say. Good place to catch up with friends!!! read more

This place is special. Many Thai restaurants serve curries that are overly sweet and coconut milky IMO but Kin Dee's have really complex flavors and textures. The price is a little high but maybe the atmosphere justifies it--will update after the pandemic as we have only had takeout. read more

Placed an order of the Pad Thai online (which was super easy) and showed up 30 mins later to pick up our order. When we arrived, we could see that they were extremely busy. The hostess explained that they were running behind due to a high number of online orders. Despite the circumstances, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The Pad Thai was the best and most authentic we've ever had! We were so happy with the customer service and the quality of the food! We definitely plan on returning. read more

This place is sooo good! Has immediately become our new favorite Thai restaurant in Houston. The pad see ew and crab omelette are amazing and the pandan cake is a light fresh finish to the end of the meal! Go here! read more

Immediately when you walk in, you are greeted with a hypnotizing aroma. The ambiance is very welcoming, with light live music, very clean restaurant and modern decor. This was our 2nd visit here, and there will be many many more. The service was fantastic as it was last time. We started our meal with the Butterfly Peaflower dumplings. They had a perfect texture and were filled with a chopped peanut filling. We were recommended to slice some of the fresh Thai chili with each bite and it did not disappoint. Our entrees we chose were the Shrimp Panaang curry and Thai Crab Omelette. Both were really great choices. The Panaang curry had a great balance of flavor, which paired nicely with the fresh Jasmine rice. The crab omelette was delicious as well with their chili/fish sauce on top. We finished our meal with a refreshing house-made coconut ice cream. The sweet corn on top was the star of the desert for me. As much food as we had, it was reasonably priced as well. All in all a great spot to get a good lunch or dinner. read more

Had really high hopes for this place in terms of the food. Everything is aesthetically pleasing, but in terms of taste it is so disappointing. Thai food is known for its uniqueness and tastiness. As far as service, everything was perfectly fine. We were seated promptly and our service was good. The decor and the place is nice. However, let's get to the food. We tried their most popular dishes. The Thai Flower Dumpling, the all in one platter (Money Bags, Golden Baskets, Grilled Thai Meatballs, Chicken Satay, Grilled Pork Skewers), and the Pad Thai. The flower dumplings were extremely underwhelming, it's a dumpling with flavored peanuts inside. Very pretty to look at and take pictures of, but that is all it is. It's suggested to eat with cilantro and one of the sauces and bit of the pepper. The only thing I actually found decent from the all in one platter was the pork skewer and the money bag. The meatballs were not good at all, I could not even finish a single one. A constant criticism I had was that the meats were either overcooked or barely cooked properly. After the two appetizers, I was ready to just leave and stop trying the food because I was so underwhelmed. However, we thought no one can mess up Pad Thai. It wasn't disastrous, but once again it was meh. Overall this place is overpriced for the food you receive. read more

Awesome food and awesome atmosphere. And my gf don't even like Thai food but she loves this place. So that's saying alot

Tracy was a great server and very attentive. The food was great and and the ambiance was good. I will be back, and asking for Tracy!

Awesome food and awesome service by Tracy. I asked her for her opinion on what dish to have and I really enjoyed the Thai omelette.

Kin Dee was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The service and staff was happy and a joy to be around. The food is fantastic, flavorful, and timely! I would highly recommend this place to anyone I love. read more

The food is good and it's clear from the taste and texture, good quality ingredients are being used. Still slightly overpriced for the plate size and overall taste. read more

Everything about our experience at Kin Dee exceeded our expectations. The service was great, food was amazing, and atmosphere was spot on. The flower dumplings were the star of the show. I got the panang curry and my boyfriend got the basil chicken. Both were so good! We had the ice cream with the toppings for dessert and LOVED it. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent food, extremely knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff, and entertainment, too. The Monday special is amazing - but there's dancing on Tuesday! Go any night for a great experience. read more

This is a brand new restaurant and while it looks great inside, we had ordered to go. The sampler plate for the appetizer were really good and still crispy after we brought it home. Too often, the fried stuff would be soggy and I was impressed. We also ordered the dried pork noodle dish. The pork was a bit dry, but the flavor was there. The last thing we ordered was the mango sticky rice and the sauce is amazing. The portion was a bit small, but it was to go, so I can over look that. Hopefully when we go back and eat at the restaurant, that will change. Overall great job and I'm excited to have a go to Thai place to get great food at. read more

Tried this place for the first time last week. We ordered their famous Thai Flower Dumplings, money bags and Drunken noodles, all of which were 10/10. Everything contained a unique/authentic taste, and the service was great. The ambience itself was nice, with a live music performance to go along with dinner. Loved it! read more

Love love love the pad Thai! I'm a huge pad Thai lover and when I saw this place open up I knew I had to try it. We ordered it to go which sometimes can be a bit dicey with the quality of the food. I will say it was fabulous and the egg surrounding it was different and delicious. Will definitely be back for more! read more

My favorite!!! Best thai food in houston! A bit pricey but worth it! The staff is great as well and the drinks are amazing

I visited Kin Dee for the first time with some friends on Friday night to try their HRW menu. We were quickly seated at a high top table in the bar, though I wish we were able to get a table closer to the center of the dining room. There was live music on Friday night and we didn't want to miss any of it! I started with the papaya salad as my appetizer, then moved on to the spicy pork sauce noodles, followed by mango sticky rice for dessert. The food was good and I liked the option to choose the level of spice I preferred. I'll be back to try other dishes on the menu. Fun spot for a night out with friends! read more

Food was good. Service was either hit or miss. Someday was decent and some day was ok. Ambiance is pretty. Pork belly was delicious!

We ordered delivery; I had the omelette w/ blue crab Trust me when I tell you t that I know blue crab,I'm from Baltimore.Today's offering was not any blue crab that was safe to eat, when it tastes and smells like that, throw it out and I would have thought that any one in a restaurant could scramble an egg, not here! Additionally, the rice was cold and hard, permanently stuck in the position of the ice cream scoop. BTW the crab dish was $20.00 And the finale sticky rice ( in the form of a green hockey puck$14.00) and a mango shaped like a rose Why?? How about decent Thai, this ALL went in the garbage and I'm hungry!! read more

Great quality Thai in my neighborhood! Get the spicy salmon for sure, and everything else I've tried has been really good. And they have Chinese Broccoli- my favorite. Just wish they'd offer a side of it. read more

Cutest addition to the hood. I have so many good things to say about this place. One, the aesthetic is beyond gorgeous. From the light fixtures and greenery to the gold cutlery, beautiful China dishes and lovely glassware. Amazing food. Amazing cocktails. Highly recommend the purple dumplings. I find myself craving them once a week. And the customer service is exceptional. Everyone is so professional, friendly and welcoming. I tell everyone I know about this place. read more

Great food and cocktails. Super cool place. Wide and I had all the usual Thai dishes. Loved it! a-raawy maak!!!!

A wonderful experience for my birthday meal :) We got flower dumpling, all in one, drunken noodle, and a flower tea. The flavor is unique for individual dishes and the amount is adequate for sure ( we had some leftover home). Dine in at their outdoor seating area, staff wear masks, food comes up fast, staff instruct you on how to enjoy their food. Pleasant visit, will be back to try other dishes some time. read more

Best Thai Food in Houston. The decor and atmosphere is amazing. They did such a good job with everything from the silverware to the wall decor and all in between. Every single dish I've had was amazing, including the appetizers. Go as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed. read more

First of all, they have a lot to park in. I think a lot of people will appreciate this. The interior is modern and beautiful. My friend and I tried the HRW menu. I feel like HRW tones down the portion a lot but not here. They were full portions and we left stuffed. The waitress wasn't joking when she said it was going to be a lot of food for two people. We ordered papaya salad, golden basket, chicken satay, pork meatballs, khao soi, spicy pork sauce noodle soup, mango sticky rice, and pandan toast. My friend can't eat spicy so she asked for mild on the papaya salad. It definitely still comes out with a kick. They also added dry shrimp in there which I LOVE since my mom uses it a lot when she cooks Thai/Vietnamese food at home. I ordered the spicy pork noodle in medium and it has a good kick. I can appreciate that the spice level isn't downplayed for the clientele in the area. I did come in with low expectations cause usually modern ethnic cuisine can be bland and tailored to please westernized taste buds. Everything was delicious. One of the few places in Houston that makes pandan cream. Maybe one suggestion? I think the presentation would be best if the pandan cream was kept in a small sauce dish so we can dip the toast instead of serving it with the toast saturated in the cream. It gets soggy. Also, I'm not sure what bread they use but it seems like regular toast. Maybe a brioche would be good or a nicer variety of bread. Maybe a thai tea cream or taro cream?!? I can't wait to come back. read more

Kin Dee - Flower dumplings, Butterfly Pea Flower Tea and Thai tea in the background - Thai Near Me - Houston, Texas

Lovely and delicious vegetarian options. Northern curry, lettuce wraps, butterfly pea dumplings - all great dishes. Papaya salad was slightly on the bland side. Authentic flavors and great cocktails. My favorite is one night in Bangkok with mezcal and vodka. Service was a bit spotty my second time here but because it was more crowded than their used to. They apologized and forewarned us that food would take a bit longer, which I can appreciate. Can't wait to go back and try dessert this time. read more

It's not the best Thai place houston by far!!! This was my second time eating here, trying to give it a second chance. I'm not sure what's all the rave about, unless it's about the cocktails and decor and live music. At first they did not have one of Thailand popular noodle dish pad kee mao on the menu! Later they decided to put it on the menu, so I tried it out and it wasn't that great! Now it's a little better, than last time, but not that great for $17. Too much soy n a little too salty! I got it to go, but that can't be why it's not that great. Also, I order the Thai basil chicken, was not impressed by that dish either. Lacks lots of Thai flavor, I had to squeeze a little lime juice on it to enjoy it. read more

Great food and service. Loved everything we tried. Especially the crab fried rice! Atmosphere and ambiance was great as well!
