Such a fun and exciting menu! I had Diablo shrimp tacos, and my husband had a lobster roll that was stuffed with lobster. Both of our meals were delicious. Ryan was our waiter and he was super great and full of energy and took really good care of us. It was our first time there and we will definitely go again. We decided to give this place a second chance and boy am I glad that we did. The place changed owner ship and the atmosphere and food were delicious. The view looking out at Morro rock from the inside is spectacular especially when you have great tasting food and beer to enjoy it with. The waitress did forget a few things and had to go back and forth a few times but otherwise she was quite friendly. Our fish and calamari were cooked perfectly and not chewy and came out hot. We are visiting Morro from out of town with our dog which has created a bit of a situation. we went by a few restaurants that would seat us on an outside patio in the wind but moved on. Fortunately we came across Kickers! when we arrived the host "Eric" greeted us and told us that the wait is about 20 minutes. He was so attentive and apologetic for the wait. I have been in the service business for over 45 years and it was a pleasure to watch Eric control the situation. He made sure everyone waiting was comfortable with supreme confidence. The bouillabaisse here was really good, and would rate favorably against my favorite San Francisco cioppino spots. My dad had the clam chowder bowl and said it was one of the best he's ever had. Fish and chips was good with light battered fries. The lobster bisque sucked, like the flour hadn't been fully cooked out. Service was attentive. Overall great for a tourist town. read more

Went to Kickers for lunch today. I have been there many times and had great food. A 22.00 dollar burger. Wow! Disgusting! The chibata bread was soggy, the tomato was sliced paper thin, non existence. The lettus was not a crisp stack of iceberg. It was Cole slaw shredded lettus with about 4 strands. No cheese. The onion was slivers and not a nice onion ring slice. I am glad I wasn't paying or I would have complained. I understand that the establishment does not like locals. They do not care as the tourist come and go. The Lil Hut has a great burger. 16.00 and Foster's has a great burger for 9.00. read more

Absolute no! We came here on a Wednesday night and asked to sit at the bar. We were the only ones there except for a party in the back. We waited 15 minutes, and I had to ask (Mr. Man Bun) at the front door to find us a server. There were a handful of non-speaking English guys chatting and laughing in the kitchen. Ryan our waiter finally appeared and took our drink order, another non-English speaking guy came out of the kitchen, poured the wine and left it on the service tray for Ryan, I went and retrieved it myself, the Pinot Grigio was flat and tasted awful. Ryan finally appeared again to take our dinner order. My husband had Salmon tacos; I had the Calamari sandwich with fries. Neither were great, fries were cold, Ryan brought me a fresh batch which were actually quite good, Calamari sandwich was tasteless and soggy. All in all, we paid $80 not including tip for a horrible meal and wine., in addition to this a very young under-age child was cleaning behind the bar. Bad experience altogether. Ryan was very nice, and you can tell he was trying his best. Very disappointing experience. read more

She did not deserve no gratuity. When a server has a bad day it should not reflect on the type of service she delivers. #1 rule of hospitality is customer always comes first.
