Firstly, if you're able to sit outside I'd highly recommend enjoying the beautiful scenic views. The young lady taking our order was very sweet, she was able to explain the popular items on the menu and gave us her recommendations. The best part of the meal were the French fries, however the portions and pricing of it were not the greatest. The amount of fries in the little basket were quite disappointing and I wish we had more. Unfortunately, the clam chowder we ordered came out a little cold. The sandwiches that we ordered were subpar and definitely not worth the price.

The food is very good. You seriously have to have a burger. It' has a perfect char with a medium/medium rare middle. Full of flavor as well. The service is quick and attentive. I'll be back. They have outside seating. It was quick as well. Clean environment as well. I love it here.

The views of the rock are spectacular. The service is Hofbrau style. The food was pretty good - though we went with fish dishes instead of traditional hofbrau food. My fish and chips were very fresh and super hot, but a little greasy, and the chips were simply French fries. The tartar sauce was delicious and plentiful.

Very nice cashier who greets you and takes your order. You're given a number and you get your own utensils. The food is brought to your table. We ordered the clam chowder and shared the roast beef sandwich. It was a good thing we split it - it's huge! Lots of meat! We also had the clam strips. The clam chowder was great. The view is nice and you can sit inside or outside. Good locals place.

Decent corned beef on the water. Ordered a cup of clam chowder, as well as the corned beef sandwich/dip, which I split with my dad. Clam chowder was a classic style, not too chunky. Corned beef sandwich was good, but preferred it not dipped. For Diet Coke fans, their soda machine was super carbonated, so it was good. Overall, good food, efficient ordering, and nice spot on the week.

Got the roast beef sandwich and German potato salad. Was disappointed that the meat was not rare and a bit overcooked. The flavor was good though. Take a look at the photo and compare to other photos where the meat is nice a rare. I have had better here previous and same for the potato salad it. So I had had better of both items here in the past. I still love the fast service and sitting outside with a view.

We ate here while exploring Morro Bay. You walk in and review an overhead menu and place the order with the cashier. There seemed to be some good food options here as well as beer selection. We ordered and grabbed a table outside with a nice view to Morro Rock. We ordered a Rueben sandwich, a chicken sandwich, a chicken sandwich with avocado, bacon and cheese (ABC) and fish n chips. The Rueben and ABC chicken sandwich were great! I was impressed with the gourmet lettuce and the brioche bun. The other two items, regular chicken sandwich and the fish n chips were OK. Since this isn't a full service restaurant, the service is tough to grade the but the employees were pleasant. 3.5 stars!

Same standard fare with the usual suspects. Roast beef sandwich was average but au jus lacked seasoning and rather bland. Bread was fresh and soft. Views of the bay.

    So bomb pastrami sandwich!

Went back again! And it was even better! Got the hot pastrami on the roll this time instead of the rye. Wow what a difference. Way less soggy and easyer to eat! And i love the frys! Service with a smile, and seating right on the bay. Perfect location for pastrami goodness.

Location, location, location. This is prime real estate with an epic view. Located on Morrowbay touching the water. In the background you have a nature reserve and Morrow Bay Rock. The seafood is good here, as good as Seattle's, just like Seattle and Portland most of the food is breaded and fried. This isn't the nicest restaurant but it's good for all ages, you can eat here if you're bundled in winter gear or beach attire, weather permitting. The beer selection is small but good. The staff and service is fast and efficient. You only speak to them when you order food at the counter and grab your food. The rest is self service.

On a quick day trip on a Friday afternoon, we decided to give this place a try. No reservation and were promptly greeted and seated. Although we did not have a full bay view, we had a partial bay view. Some hits and misses with food and service. 1. Bowl of Clam Chowder (no bread bowls available). Chowder was piping hot and had nice pieces of clams (dad got a bit of clam shell..so be careful), celery and potatoes. The chowder was very creamy and not grainy or watery like other locations. I would definitely order again 5/5 2. Fish & Chips: Fresh Pacific cod, lightly breaded, served with house-made tartar sauce. Fish was fried to perfection. 5/5 3. Seafood Pasta: Linguini with jumbo prawns, fresh catch, Cajun cream sauce, garlic bread. Everything tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly 5/5 4. Side of Garlic bread: extremely disappointing. We ordered garlic bread with our chowder, it never came. Waitress decided to serve it with the mains (fish and chips) and we ordered for the entire table and she only brought 2 pieces. 5. Insalata Molina: Mixed greens, arugula, pear, walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, mango vinaigrette. Couldn't tell you if this was any good bc the waitress NEVER brought but charged us for it. She then takes it off the bill and brings me the salad in a Styrofoam container. I told her I didn't want it and put it in my bag. Salad was so soggy (which means the kitchen prepared it and the waitress forgot to serve it) I would not order and do not recommend ordering it bc it was the size of a side salad definitely not worth the price point. 6. Mocktail Lavender lemonade: definitely not balanced, was pretty tart and again the price point was off. It was about 8oz lemonade for $12 They do offer a nice selection of wines. Restrooms are located outside the restaurant and are public restrooms, pretty dirty and out of stock. Although our service was a big miss, I do recommend the food items we ordered. I did take a star off due to the service.

When we entered the dog-friendly patio with our little Goldendoodle, Bailey, a large dog seated at the table closest to the only patio entrance lunged toward her and bared its teeth. Since it was the only way in and out, I let the staff know I was concerned. They immediately spoke with the owners, who moved their dogs farther under the table, and after our meal, the owner's father went above and beyond by opening the rope barriers so we could exit another way and avoid walking past them again. Both the father and son were incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating, which we really appreciated. Once we were settled, we were able to enjoy the beautiful patio. It's a quaint waterfront spot with gorgeous views, a relaxing atmosphere, and the perfect setting to enjoy fresh seafood. Bailey was promptly brought a complimentary bowl of water, and we loved seeing so many other well-behaved dogs enjoying the patio. It's easy to see why this restaurant has such a great reputation for being dog friendly. We ordered the King Salmon Quesadilla special, and it was absolutely delicious. It was packed with generous portions of fresh salmon, plenty of melted cheese, and vegetables, and it was more than enough for my mom and me to share. My brother also really enjoyed the tri-tip sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was served hot. While we wish the aggressive dogs had been seated somewhere other than the only entrance to the patio, that wasn't the restaurant's fault, and they handled the situation as well as they could. Between the excellent food, beautiful waterfront setting, dog-friendly atmosphere, and genuinely caring owners, we had a great overall experience and would happily return.

The fish tacos had large pieces of fish and everyone was very happy with their tacos, some saying it was "to die for." We will definitely be back! The patio seating was lovely and they had live music that was such a nice touch. One of the employees was actively going around and cleaning tables and offering bowls of water to the dogs! She was super nice. Many of the patio tables also have small leashes so you could put your dog on that and not have the dog get all wrapped up in their regular leash. Very dog friendly!
