Had lunch at this quirky spot! This spot has cool and interesting decor along with some great music (not too loud). Service was attentive and friendly as soon as we walked in. We ordered a couple of local beers, a bowl of clam chowder, and the west end burger. Everything was pretty good. The clam chowder was thick and tasty with some good chunks of clam but made me very bloated a few hours later.

Shrimp taco's

Service was very good. My husband got a French Dip. It was good but a little skimpy on the meat. I had blackened shrimp taco's. They really weren't blackened. Although they looked good the shrimp really didn't have any flavor. The sauce on the side was spicy though. Cute pub atmosphere. Nice lighting. Food was good. Service good.

Stopped in for a hazy IPA and the Halibut Fish N Chips. Not your regular beer battered F & C these were lightly breaded and fried. They were cooked perfectly, huge chunks of fresh Halibut...Man I've been craving them since we left. Service is friendly, looked like a cool local hangout (comfortable) located on main street-Cambria Definitely a must try

Halibut and chips but opted for sweet potato fries

The food staff and location were excellent. The restaurant has enough seating inside and I love the bar feel to it. The staff is 10/10 so attentive and kind. I wanted to order something off the menu and they said if they have the ingredients they will make it for me! So I ordered the linguine Alfredo with a rib eye steak. We also ordered the coconut fried shrimp, clams, a halibut and sweet potatoes. They were so good! We also ordered beer. I'm a huge sour beer fan but they didn't have any and suggested another lighter beer and it was really good.

What happened? New owners? Staff? It was a WED night and they were busy and only one person serving. She tried but man a room full of people and the wait time was too long. The food: I had the clam chowder in the bread bowl. The bread was soft, and not baked. The last time I had it, the bread was crispy and buttered, and it tasted amazing. This time it was not so good. The clam chowder itself was average and OK. She had the fish and chips. The fish was overcooked and super salty and the fries were old and not as tasty. We were both really disappointed because the last time we were here this place was amazing. The service was on the spot. Not sure what happened and if they are new owners, but it definitely shows.

Halibut & chips First time in Cambria, Only dish I've tried....and it's so amazing!! Thank you for a fantastic dinner!!

We stopped into West End during our day trip to relax and have a drink. The bar is definitely a local's favorite and is super cozy. The service was just ok but didn't expect much for a dive bar. Definitely a good spot to relax in the area and also has a restroom for customers only.

We are visiting Cambria and needed a place to eat lunch. Loved this place. Waitress was very attentive and nice, not one of those who seems to not like her job. My husband had a fish sandwich and I had the chicken tenders and fries, tasted good! Ambiance was great. Surfboards hanging and all sorts of things on the walls that make a place interesting. We enjoyed ourselves and thank you for the great service and food! If you're ever in Cambria, try the Westend Bar & Grill!

Loved our experience! We were greeted and sat by the owner and had a very nice chat. We had just been ignored I mean literally ignored at Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill! West Ends made up for it big time. We loved the ambiance. Totally a comfortable down home cozy local bar type of feel. My husband and I are absolutely versatile, but this is definitely our favorite element! I had the best Bloody Mary! We also ordered the calamari appetizer, a couple bowls of clam chowder, and the halibut and chips. All was delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary this weekend and were happy to have it end here at West End Bar and Grill. We look forward to recommending it to others and bringing our kids in.

Chicken sandwich with Cole slaw
Ry T.

We stopped in for lunch and found the food surprisingly good. The waitress was very sweet and attentive, handling the tables by herself. It's an older looking establishment. Hubby really liked his chicken sandwich. I tried the and fries. The fries were so crispy and delish and not greasy-oily. The cup of chowder was good but pretty standard. They did mess up on Hubby's order as he asked for potato salad with his sandwich and got Cole slaw but he decided to eat the Cole slaw instead and said it was good. They only serve bottled water which is weird, where you end up buying one of their Coke products if you don't want bottled water. There is a refill on the soda tho.

Loved this place. The owner/ bartender was so sweet. This was one of the best clam chowder I have ever tasted. Definitely delicious

Service 5/5: Absolutely incredible service from every person who welcomed us in and served us at our table. Similar to a Southern Cracker-barrel, Linn's has a boutique at the entrance which is on the more curated side with visually indulgent cookbooks and tableware findings. Service is with a polite smile and efficient. I always seem to have a special order and this time I ordered their vegan tomato bisque with half vegetable panini and I subbed a roasted poblano pepper for the eggplant. The combo of the roasted veg and poblano pepper as the feature flavor in a grilled cheese on sourdough was outstanding! My mom treated herself to the Ololliberry pie and house made vanilla bean ice cream. She was in heaven. Hubby had the Tri-tip Sando and sister ordered the beet and goat cheese salad. All the produce and sauces/dressings were fresh and delicious and the portions were generous - not over the top. We were politely asked to leave. No fault of the restaurant whatsoever--it was just one of those surreal moments that perfectly captured the beginning of that crazy chapter in history. Fast forward six years... We randomly picked this place for dinner and, as soon as we walked in, we both looked at each other and said, "Wait... haven't we been here before?" Then it hit us. This was that restaurant. Apparently, we had unfinished business. This time, the universe finally let us eat. I ordered the Ortega burger with sweet potato fries, my wife had the patty melt with onion rings, and we took an order of linguini home for later. Every single bite was fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the six-year wait. The service was just as impressive. Karina was our waitress, and she was attentive, friendly, charming, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place. Salmon was fresh enough, but a bit heavy on the dry rub seasoning. The mango salsa was nice. The side black beans had too much salt and cummin for my taste. * Flat Iron Steak -- It was rather average. Not the most tender or juicy skirt steak. Normally served with mashed potato and veggies, but they allowed us to sub mash potatoes for creamy polenta which was nice. Sincerely friendly.welcoming, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Provided great recommendations. We ordered a hot dog $10. All beef. It was split grilled served with side of potato salad. And a slice of olallieberry pie $7. The dog had a nice quality snap, good flavor. The potato salad for me was just ok. The pie was heavenly. Perfect thickness of crust; it was dense, flaky and tender all around yummy. My tastebuds were doing a happy dance! The cafe has a charming farmhouse interior. The cafe interior tables were fitted with plastic table cloths. Not a fan of those. The back patio was super cute. The area is compact. Gorgeous flowers and plants all lushly thriving and blooming. Whimsical metal sculpture art . Water fountains that gave off a calming trickling water sound. The windmill structure was pretty cool. Dual purpose of up cycle art and patio cover. The Ollalieberry items were both good (although again our pie crust was pretty soft) and if I were to return, these are what I'd come for. We also noticed that our $8 slice of pie looked smaller than the group in front of us as ours was to-go and theirs was eaten at the restaurant. Service 4/5: When I placed our order, I appreciated that I was asked if we wanted our dessert pie with our meal or to be delivered later. We originally had planned to eat on the patio as we had our dog with us, but halfway through the meal we had a few bees start circling that we could not seem to get rid of which is why we ended up getting our Ollalieberry pie to-go. The outdoor tables could also probably be cleaned a bit more regularly as well as we found some sticky spots when we sat down.
