    Seafood Pasta
    Adrienne D.

FOOD: I ordered the seafood pasta. It was filled with mussel, shrimp, cod, and scallops. The pasta comes with 2 slices of garlic bread. It was delicious!! I loved the tomato based sauce. This was a BIG meal. I had trouble getting through the entire dish. Definitely you get your money's worth. 10/10 a spot to check out

Sits on a corner with plenty of free street parking (at least in September.). Pups welcome and there is a cute outdoor patio that hugs corner; enter through that door (a few steps to access.) Lots to look at, fun signs and great vibe. Also a small covered patio at main entrance. The staff were epic. Very welcoming, kind and gave excellent sincere service. Appreciated the water bowl for my pup! Food is basic fare; you're not coming here for a foodie experience. Instead, soak up local color, meet and chat with others and enjoy a meal/full bar with your beloved pup companion! I'm here for a week; I'll be back.

Love the ambiance in this place! There's artsy pictures of Frida, Katarina and Marilyn Monroe plus old west artifacts. Our wonderful server seated us with a nice view of the street so we could people watch. You can get the fish of the day with salad, rice or fries. I got the Mahi mahi and it was moist and tasty. My friend loved her juicy burger and fries. You can also get beer, local wines, ice tea or lemonade. Everything was delicious and there's plenty of seating.

This is my second time here. I love their salads. So far this is all I have tried. But I loved it so much I went back again to get the same thing. I love a good steak and onions rings, and why not have it all on a salad! Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is it could be kept up a little more. I loved trying the patio this time. It was a beautiful day for it!

Filet Mignon with rice pilaf and vegetables

A cozy mountain cabin style restaurant, with 2 floors of indoor seating and a small covered outdoor seating area. We had the breaded calamari appetizer which was okay. For the main entree, I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon with rice pilaf and vegetables. The filet mignon was tender and juicy, but slightly bland (maybe I should have asked for the peppercorn sauce?). The bacon strip wrapped around the edges of the steak was disappointingly soft (sorry, but I like my bacon crispy). The rice pilaf was very tasty, but the vegetables were too soft. My guest had the calamari steak with rice pilaf and vegetables. The calamari steak was identical to the appetizer except it came as a flat steak instead of strips. Nevertheless, it had a nice crispy crust and the calamari itself was okay. We were not offered a dessert menu; not sure if they offer desserts. Overall, the ambience and service were great, the food was average/good, and our dishes were in the mid $30's. May try it again and order something different. It's a cute little place with lots of personality and I hope they can up the their game food wise.

If I could give negative starts this place is the Winner! Fish and chips. Fish is like large Fishsticks. Ordered Alfredo pasta we got cooked noodles with tons of watered down Alfredo. Food came out extremely fast. I would prefer a little wait to have better prepared food. Overpriced

    Cajun Burger and fries

We were looking for an affordable lunch in Cambria and decided to drop into this place. Being a weekday, it was busy and we were seated right away and given menus. I ordered their Cajun Burger with fries and hubby ordered a bowl of their clam chowder. The food came out and was flavorful and filling. Service was attentive, there weren't any issues; couldn't ask for more! Their interior is decorated with random items like framed newspaper pages highlighting events in Cambria. It has a log cabin facade with fun tchotchkes hung up on the walls. It was entertaining to point things out while we waited for our meal!

    Best burger on the planet

Long Review: This place is a Main Street stalwart, and is located a Rios the street from the Shell station. A family-owned spot with really friendly service. It's so nice to see the same people each time you return, and they like seeing you too. They have a wide range of sandwiches, sides, salads, desserts, and smoothies. My favorites are the Hot Pastrami and the Turkey/Bacon/Avocado Club. Very consistently good each time I order. They are usually busy, so I may recommend calling ahead. Ample seating both inside out outdoors, and a great spot for groups. Give 'em a try!

The interior is basic. Besides the interior dining area; they also have a patio with tables with shade covering. Plus even though the word bakery is in the name of the place I consider it more of a deli.

Just look for the building with the whimsical cartoonish pie statue out front. Darn cute! So many pie flavor choices. Slices, mini pies or whole pies. Sweet or savory. Sincerely friendly.welcoming, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Provided great recommendations. We ordered a hot dog $10. All beef. It was split grilled served with side of potato salad. And a slice of olallieberry pie $7. The dog had a nice quality snap, good flavor. The potato salad for me was just ok. The pie was heavenly. Perfect thickness of crust; it was dense, flaky and tender all around yummy. My tastebuds were doing a happy dance! The cafe has a charming farmhouse interior. The cafe interior tables were fitted with plastic table cloths. Not a fan of those. The back patio was super cute. The area is compact. Gorgeous flowers and plants all lushly thriving and blooming. Whimsical metal sculpture art . Water fountains that gave off a calming trickling water sound. The windmill structure was pretty cool. Dual purpose of up cycle art and patio cover. Almost every table had a huge umbrella providing shade. Next to the back patio are the restrooms housed in its own stand alone building. Could use a refresh. There are a few spots in the car lot in the back. But the lot is tiny and hard to maneuver about for larger vehicles.

When she is not here, it is a different place. On slow weekdays the staff range from unfriendly to flat out rude, and they close early. Posted closing is 1 pm, but I have watched the closed sign go up at 12:30 and been turned away. The last excuse was a power outage. I live here. That outage lasted about ten minutes and had ended more than three hours earlier. And it is not just me. Last week I was in a coffee shop nearby, standing behind a woman who had come back to visit after moving away years ago. She had just walked out of Lily's five minutes earlier. She was telling her friend that it had always been her favorite place and that the owner was wonderful, but was shocked that the staff were nasty. She did not know I was listening and had no reason to say it except that it had just happened and she was upset about it because she was nostalgic and had been looking forward to going to her favorite place. If you show up in that last thirty minutes on a day that is not busy, you may find the door shut on you regardless of what the sign says. So go there when the owner is there or go more than thirty minutes before closing on days unlikely to be busy. Of course not all the staff are that unfriendly - The long term staff are friendly But too many aren't . They get laid off or quit them you get a new one with attitude .
