Spinach sandwich & Goat cheese salad
    Crystal M.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and tried the spinach sandwich and goat cheese salad. Both were good and very fresh. I love that the spinach sandwich had cucumber AND pickles, making for an exceptional crunchy sandwich. Would definitely recommend if you're in town.

Great food and great service. I love their salsa. Cute decorations for Halloween. Yum!

Glad to see this new spot open up and change up the offerings in town. Didn't realize they were opening this weekend so it was cool to be among the first people to come in and check this place out. Seems like a super friendly family owned business as everyone there was really nice and seemed to be working on some aspect of the business. Really nice layout, cozy but open, and easy to read menu. Decided to try a hot and cold sandwich to test out for the first time. We ordered their philly and their peruvian triple. Both were decent size and you could see them making it. The hot sandwich goes through a small conveyor oven to cook and it worked pretty well. Their philly was different from what I normally expect, but it was pretty good. The beef was overcooked unfortunately, but the sandwich tasted good nonetheless. The peruvian triple sandwich was pretty interesting, it definitely reminded me of sandwiches I've had out of the US which made it feel more authentic. It was well made and was really fresh. It was a unique combination of flavor, I'd probably try again with their chipotle option. I'm definitely looking forward to going back to try their breakfast options. Not too many places to find crepes around here, so that should be fun. A nice unique addition to the food scene in downtown Morro Bay.

Very new spot and I must say it's cute inside. We did not try any food so I can't type about it. However 2 of my sons tried the Oreo smoothie and the berry one. They liked them and they were very filling. The service was awesome and location awesome, especially if you're staying close by. They have a variety of food items to choose from that sound good. So we look forward to returning to try something.

Every dish we tried was spectacular. The standout for me was the El Misti Ceviche -- unlike any ceviche I've ever had. It was beautifully presented with a hot rock in the center and packed with incredible flavor and texture. Absolutely phenomenal. The smoked chicken wings (Alitas) were another surprise hit -- crispy, smoky, juicy, and somehow NOT fried. You can really taste the attention to detail in every bite. We also tried salads, the Señor Lomo (filet), and desserts, and every single dish impressed us. The chef here is a rock star. You can feel the passion and originality throughout the entire menu.

We were treated with champagne glasses for our anniversary which was so sweet. Had the dragon lake cocktail which was tasty. It was not strong of tequila or too sweet. Then had the strawberry basil margarita and that was delicious. Started with the yucca sticks and croquettes. It was delicious and reminded us of our wedding. We shared some shrimp tempura sushi rolls and a half dozen of oysters. Then we shared the special which was a Peruvian style branzino with shellfish. It was a lot of food but it was good. The environment was spacious. A little loud near a large table of men but we could still hear one on other.

It's one of those things where you don't know what you want but every menu all looks the same. We finally tried it out for dinner after a weekend in the wine country. The restaurant is right in the heart of downtown SLO next to the park and riverwalk. We had an early reservation at 6 on a Saturday and let me say the place was packed. The outside patio was completely full which was nice to see. Checking in was easy with the hostess. All was sweet and made it fast and simply and we were seated right away without having to wait for the whole party to arrive. Menu wise, a bit of everything but they specialized in paella's. And that was had. Our waitress Kaitlin was the sweetest. Right from the start, she was a major doll. Made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole dining experience. Started off with a bottle of red for the table. A good selections from their menu. Then a few small shared plates for the table. An order of the bacon wrapped dates, Brussels sprouts, Peruvian shrimp ceviche and the gambas al ajillo. First off the dates, very tasty with salty and sweet. A good bite size with about 6 piece. Then the ceviche, nice chunks of shrimp with all the trimming. Cucumber, red onions, tomatoes , avocado, cilantro and chips. Then you have the sprouts which is pretty self explanatory. Roasted to a nice crisp with golden raisins and almonds. Pretty decent and delicious. Lastly the gambas, sautéed shrimp in paprika garlic and white wine sauce with a Parmesan slice of sourdough bread. Everything was delicious and a good start to an amazing meal. I do recommend the starters. For our entree, even though we started off with loads of the shared plates. The mains all looked amazing. Clearly we had to have the paella which they're known for. There were couple options in them but we opted for the mix which was a combination of the seafood and meat paella. Let me say it was massive and clearly more than enough for four of us. The nice big chunks of seafood and meat which they did not skimp on. The flavors and the whole combination of everything together, chefs kiss. It was pretty massive as well. Of course we couldn't just stop there, we also had the lamb chops with frites. Cooked perfectly and very tasty. The hanger steak with chimichurri sauce accompanied by roasted potatoes and sautéed broccolini. That dish was excellent and steak was cooked perfectly. Lastly, I believe it was one of their specials the sea bass. A nice thick and flaky piece of fish on top of a red sauce of tomatoes, olives. The flavor was excellent and worth it. The food was excellent and it was a surprise when there were leftovers. We may have over done it with the extra entrees after seeing the massive platter of paella. But every dish was excellent and worth it. The service was great with everyone involved. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. The food and wine were great. The whole dining experience was top notch and greatly enjoyed. We will definitely be back. At least we know about the paella now...lol... A must and highly recommend. Too full to even looked at the dessert menu.

After checking out around half a dozen options, we decided on Luna red as the ambiance looked amazing and the menu had options for all the picky eaters in our group. We got seated outdoors and they had sufficient number of patio umbrellas to shelter us from the afternoon sun. The outdoors was really beautiful, they had plenty of greenery and it was like a tropical paradise. We got a lot of appetizers to share, they have options to order 4, 6 or 10 tacos. We got 10 start off with. I personally got a paella as it has been forever since I had it. *brussel sprouts- 4.5/5- one of the better versions of brussel sprouts I have had in a while, they were beautifully roasted, they retained their character but at the same time were delicious instead of tasting too healthy. *fingerling potatoes-4.5/5- potatoes tend to be tasty any which way they are cooked. The standout in this version was the finger licking sauce it was doused in. *paella- 4.5/5- I got the chicken paella. It came with a soft jammy egg. The dish had 75% protein and about 25% rice. The rice at the bottom was nicely crisped up. The chicken was in large chunks but surprisingly non funky and wonderfully flavored. I stole some of the sauce from the tacos to amp up this dish further. 4.5 for the food, rounding up for the good vibes and great ambiance!

We originally made our reservation for 7:30 p.m.... we then decided we wanted to perhaps change it to 6:30. We called ahead and hopes that they could accommodate us. They said they couldn't promise anything but they would try. We showed up around 6:15. And they sat us down around 6:35. We had a beautiful window seat overlooking the ocean and had a perfect view of the sunset. I forgot our server's name but he was amazing. This place sounds fancy and bougie but it's really not. The food might be, but the vibe is not. There's no dress code. Everything we ordered was soooo tasty and delicious! We ordered fish and chips, baked clams, a wedge salad, and seafood pasta. For drinks we had two mocktails that were just okay. We also got a couple of flour tortillas with some cinnamon butter and a salsa trio. Our server suggested we spread butter inside the tortilla and drizzle our favorite salsa inside. So good. After dinner we decided to walk around the restaurant and appreciate the views.
