    Thai tea

Service was good! It's a cute little hole in the wall, and definitely a local spot. It was 100% full the whole time I was there on a Friday evening. The pad Thai was marvelous-- dark and tamarindy, with a silky sauce that coated everything well. Presentation wasn't super thoughtful, as it looked like it had already been mixed, but the flavor made up for it. Some more veg would have also been appreciated. The thai tea was very one note, and not very strong. I won't be ordering this here again.

I ate her about a week or two ago. I decided to take a little ocean vacation for the weekend. A friend and I came here for dinner and it was so delicious. The place was pretty full, but it was spring break and a Friday night. They were able to make my pad Thai vegan. Their edamame was so delicious, the sauce that came on top was amazing. I even mixed the extra sauce into my pad Thai once we finished all the edamame.

Food is tasty and served quickly. Its on the main strip of shops. Service was friendly. Ambiance is old town restaurant vibe.

The food was amazing especially the pineapple fried rice. The service was great the lady was very sweet and kind. The place was clean and cozy. The only problem was our sticky rice, it was very good however, the sauce on top wasn't sweet. Overall tho this place was great.

Ordered some take out to watch the World Series so can't speak much to the ambiance or service. However, I was impressed that the owner made good on remaking an order of pineapple fried rice that ended up being very spicy to the point where I could not eat it. She said it never should have been made that way unless requested and wasn't sure what happened but the fresh order of non-spicy pineapple fried rice was so good! The chicken and shrimp were not overcooked and I loved the bits of raisins and cashews added in. I could eat this again and again. We had 3 ordered of satay chicken and the cucumber and peanut sauce that came with it was perfect. The chicken skewers itself were a bit inconsistent as some of the pieces were a bit overcooked but some were perfect and moist. I would still order these again though. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of food and the prices were comparable to what I am used to.

Exceptional service and generous portions! The hot cheese puffs were incredible--crispy on the outside, perfectly soft on the inside, and totally addictive. I also had the Tom Kha Seafood soup, which came with a fragrant mix of coconut milk, lemongrass, mushrooms, cilantro, and onions. The presentation was lovely, and the seafood was fresh and tender. The broth - too tart or sour for my liking, however. (Maybe it was the cilantro?) I came back the next day to try the crab fried rice--and it did not disappoint! It was a hearty portion, with just the right balance of crab (real crab, not imitation), egg, onions, peas, carrots, and tomatoes. Definitely a spot worth visiting (and revisiting)!

Wow, everything we tried here was delicious! It's a small and cute restaurant. The service was fast as all the food came out quickly. We enjoyed every dish we ordered--the papaya salad, the Tom kha, the fried rice, and the yellow curry. The least impressive dish was the dessert, which was sweet sticky rice with ice cream. Everything else was great!

Came for lunch today and remembered why I love this place so much! The service is always welcoming and prompt, and the food is delicious! I love the fried rice, the jungle green curry, pad see ew and especially the spring rolls with shrimp! I always stop by when I'm in Morro Bay.

I love thai food and am a sucker for pad thai. I've had a good number of pad thais across different restaurants and I gotta say, I love the flavor this one brings. Its got deep savory flavors and you can taste the tamarind. The noodle was also perfectly cooked leaving a savory sauce to go with each bite. My friend who dined with me got the teriyaki bowl. Kind of a regret. The bowl didn't come as tasty. The teriyaki flavor just didn't taste quite right unfortunately No worries, the pad thai carried us through.

My favorite place to eat when I come to Morro Bay! Their pad see ew is delicious. I recommend getting it medium, it's not too spicy but gives it a little kick. Service is great we were always seated quickly.

The menu is extensive but I only had one thing in mind and thus I got the CLAM CHOWDER BOWL $6.99 and HALIBUT fish and chips $24.99 plus $2 garlic fries upgrade. Sorry to say this place is as many have said, a tourist trap. The halibut batter lacked seasoning it was practically tasteless. It's freshly fried however. Fries upgrade helped the fries only. The entire basket didn't taste much like anything and the tartar didn't help. The clam chowder was very salty. And I mean, very. It barely had clams in it and didn't taste rich and mostly had big cubes of potato. It was disappointing. The lines can get very long very fast. They have a good spot with greats views or Morro Rock. Parking is free everywhere to my knowledge.

Our server, Paloma was so attentive to our 4 yr old son. He was served first thing, and not once was he overlooked or ignored. He requested to sit indoors midway through our meal, as it got cold outside on the deck and the move was done seamlessly. The server actually caught my son when he managed to tip his chair back and she did it swiftly, without making a scene and told him she's done that before, so that he wasn't embarrassed or uncomfortable. Amazing! We took our servers suggestions and loved our mushroom Swiss burger and cali fries and chicken sandwich. We had way too much food! We will definitely be visiting again.

We arrived around 3:30 on a Saturday and the restaurant was moderately busy. Our table was in the interior dining room at the window (nice view). Our Server for this experience (Kate) presented us with menus promptly. Kate was fabulous...her service "spot-on", professional and very personable as well (thank-you Kate). Our order consisted of Drinks : A Lemon Drop (4/5 - the question here was if the cocktail actually contained alcohol. We were assured it did, but the drink was replaced non-the-less. The replacement tasted the same ‍..."our bad", but Kate didn't charge us for either!). A Sandy Beach (5/5 - ya...this cocktail is outstanding!) and a Big Sur IPA (5/5). Our ordered Mains: Mushroom Swiss w/ Bacon 2X - one w/ Beer Battered Fries, the other w/a Side Caesar Salad - (5/5 - a definite "go-to burger " cause it's sooo darn good) Bay Basket (Mahi Mahi w/double Coleslaw) - (5/5 delicious and enough to take home for another meal) Grilled Jalapeno Burger (w/egg and Bacon) - (5/5 - always a winner). The wait for our meal after receiving our drinks seemed remarkably short...yay! This occasion was a Birthday celebration meal for one of our party of 4...and Kate presented us with a very delicious piece of Carrot Cake which was large enough for all of us to share - (5/5...if we could give the Carrot Cake a "higher" score/rating we would. It is, as far as Carrot Cake goes, truly OUTSTANDING!) The dining experience couldn't have been better...Kate's service and customer service in "making it right" with the Cocktail and Birthday Cake, the atmosphere/view and the fabulous food didn't disappoint. Once again, on this occasion, in this Yelper's opinion...Morro Grill on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay truly earned this "really, ya gotta go and enjoy" 5 Star review!
