We decided to try Morro Bay Lobster during our Central California trip after reading the reviews, and wow, it did not disappoint! My wife and I ordered two Connecticut style lobster rolls, which were recommended by the owner, along with an order of fries. The best lobster roll I had previously was in Boston, but this one surpassed it. The lobster was fresh and juicy, and the roll was perfectly toasted. I would also highly recommend the fries. They were thin and crispy, almost like a french fry and potato chip had a baby. The service was solid, and our food came out quickly. The surrounding area is clean and there are picnic tables, restrooms nearby and a dedicated parking lot, although it can get pretty crowded. Morro Rock is right across the street, so if you are visiting the area, I would definitely recommend stopping here. read more

This place popped up on my social media feed, and I knew I had to visit while I was in Morro Bay for the Fourth of July weekend. Luckily, the day after the holiday wasn't busy when they opened, so I was able to walk right up, place my order, and get my food quickly. I ordered the Connecticut-style lobster roll with a side of fries and a fresh lemonade, and everything was absolutely delicious. The lobster was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the stop. I also loved the location. There are picnic tables nearby if you want to enjoy your meal outside, and it's within walking distance of downtown with great views, making it a perfect spot to relax after grabbing lunch. The lobster rolls were delicious, with tender juicy lobster. The roll was buttered and toasted perfectly. We tried both the Connecticut and Maine rolls. I preferred the Maine with the warm butter! The French fries were crisp and yummy. Quick service, each order is made to order. All is to go. I'm a big fan! This super clean food truck is located right next to a little gathering area where locals play chess. Service: 5/5 Friendly, quick, and efficient. Came here on my birthday trip and this was one of the best spots we stopped at. The customer service is friendly and quick. The lobster rolls were exceptional. The location is on the main street downtown with so many shops and activities. They have public outdoor seating area, but you can easily walk down to the beach And enjoy a bite as well. These were so delicious, we got seconds to go for our drive down to LA and would actually consider taking a trip just to have another lobster roll. There was a short line, but service was fast and came with a smile. There are picnic tables adjacent to the food truck and additional drinks/items available at the coffee shop on the same property. It's a great spot right on the Embarcadero, so great people watching and sightseeing. The total for our roll with no sides was $27 (before tip). It's a serious price, but worth the money. This food truck is located next to sun-n-buns bakery. It was such a clean food truck it looked like a covid testing lab. The Lobster was delectable and the loaf that they used was very nice. But for $25 a roll it's not worth it in any way, shape, or form. It's just absurd. The guy working there seemed like a good soul. He knew what he was talking about.
