This location is the worst one I've ever been to. My husband just spent $40 in food and was charged $5 for sauces???? I've never experienced being charged that drastically for sauces. The food always tastes old. Chicken tastes old and like it's been on a heater all day and biscuits are hard as rocks. My soda has either been nothing but syrup or nothing but carbonation the last two times. This is not the vibe. Do better. read more

KFC's original fried chicken is my fast food weakness - the Elko KFC does an excellent job! I ordered using the drive through and the car line moved through fast enough to serve my order about one minute after I placed it. The chicken breasts were juicy, fresh cooked and a credit to the kfc recipe. Sides were normal kfc - tasty but, like most fast food, not very heart healthy. I won't claim kfc chicken fits on any health diet, but I have never found a "healthy" fried chicken that delivered the flavor experience of good kfc chicken. For those of you traveling cross country on the interstate , this is a quick on-off via Elko's exit 301 (middle exit). Terrible. Ordered the Famous Bowl, basically I ended up with a bowl of unseasoned mashed potatoes with about 20 kernels of corn and 3 cold chicken pieces, about the size of my thumb nail. This is the worse meal ever from any KFC. I won't be eating there again. read more

Went in to grab a bite to eat ...however I hit the restroom first . Ug . The door wouldn't latch shut and it was a one seater so I tried to shut the door hard several times and it would never latch or lock but I had to go pee so bad I took a chance and peed anyways . Whew made it with no one seeing me pee. Then went to wash my hands and there was no soap at all . Hmmm if I can't wash my hands it made me wonder if the employees were washing theirs and with that thought I left the restaurant. On my way out I went to the counter to tell them and no one came out from the back to see if needed anything. So I left hungry and frustrated. Went to my car to let my dog out on leash to pee and some employee turned the sprinklers on us ! Now my dog loves the sprinklers so she thought it was fun but I knew better . When they say finger licking good they mean, finger f*cking licking good. I rubbed my fingers across the nice tender chicken. The grease slipping from me. The warmth of the chicken flowed through my house. I shoved the chicken in my throat as if my life depended on it. Don't get me started on the macaroni, it was a cheesy blessing sent down from Jesus himself, I would give some decent head to the chef of that fine Mac. The mashed potatoes had a nice soft feeling on my tongue as the gravy dripped touched my chicken's crisp tender skin I saw the meaning of life, it was KFC. The soda like always was decent. I don't like coleslaw but man did it look bussin. Those teenagers working to make this glorious meal deserve a 25 cent raise. I would give 4 stars but my dad crashed on the way there. They messed up the order, no biggie, it's busy so we completely understand. The woman starts in on my son (15 years old) he lied about the order as I was walking in. Then, said my daughter must have eaten the missing food (12 year old little girls in their family must be HOGS, cause my little girl usually can't even finish half the meal between the drive through and around to the front in 1 minute). I know it's fast food, but have some manners! I made them give my money back and the owner was completely irritated---- AT ME FOR REFUSING TO EAT AFTER THEY WERE AO DAMN RUDE TO MY CHILDREN AND I---- We will NOT be treated like that ever and take it. For a fast food joint this place is top shelf. The food is good, fast and exactly what you would want from a KFC. What really makes his place stand out is the management staff. We've been eating in and take out from this location for several years and every time we come in we are treated as if we are the most important people they have seen all day. The staff works hard, has positive attitudes and makes sure everything is right he first time. The food is really good, I was with my Gma and the food was instant the cashier is funny but a little too funny kind of creepy in a way.

Wish I could give this place less than the lowest 1 star rating. Food is typical KFC, kind of greasy, too salty and their cookies are stale. What makes this rating so low is the manager that was on shift when we went. Highly unprofessional. Wears his uniform button up shirt unbuttoned low so he can show off his gold chains and his chest. Is extremely pushy and then tells everyone that there are no refills allowed on the drinks. Yet the drink station is out in the dining area for self serve refills. Nowhere is it posted that they don't allow refills. Every KFC that I have ever been in, in any state, ALWAYS ALLOWS REFILLS! But, if you even try to fill your cup a second time, even with ice or water, this manager will come out from behind the counter from where he WATCHES the beverage machine, and in a belligerent manner will harass you for going near the soda machine a second time. He claims they lose too much money on refills. While I waited by the counter, I watched multiple employees also harass every customer that came through, following them down the counter repeatedly saying "NO REFILLS, NO REFILLS!" I even watched a potential customer leave because of this policy. From the standpoint of someone who has been in the food service arena for 40 years, I know that you don't lose money on beverages, that is where you make some of your highest profit. So this franchise would prefer to lose paying customers rather than lose 10 cents on a beverage. Poor business model. read more
