This is a long overdue review for ATH! They handled two major home projects for us in 2025 in a…read moremidcentury modern condo. This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism, flexibility and high standards. Thanks to the ATH Team!

We were fortunate that they had a same day opening! The Plumber came out at 2:30 the same day. The plumber who had 2 ideas of our issue. He however couldn't access where he believed the problem was coming from. water was appearing in out spare bedroom behind where our master bathroom shower is located. So he recommended Bingham Restoration; to come out and gain access. They had guys in the area and were at my house within an hour! They gained accessed to the problem area quickly and then cut away the damaged area, cleaned everything up well and left dryers and de-humidifiers for the weekend. Then helped me file my insurance claim the same day! Bingham is a pleasure to work with and were SO good with their clean up and information! Nick from Lawson came back out on Monday and saw where the problem was and unfortunately had to have our entire custom cultured marble shower taken out to access the leaking pipe. So the next day Bingham was out to remove the shower and the next day! Nick was back to fix the pipe. Bingham suggested a general contractor to restore the drywall, carpet, baseboard and wall texturing and paint to the spare bedroom and then replace the shower. This has been a super smooth process and I am very impressed will refer Lawson and Bingham to everyone. I cannot recall the name of the Contractor. I am meeting with them today to choose my new marble and carpet!

They just needed to remove one row of tile, but they did such a poor job that they chipped multiple tiles. They left a huge gouge in the celling drywall. They also dumped tile garbage down the drain of the shower. The tile guy we hired to fix the shower spent half a day pulling chunks of tile out of the shower drain. Then they way overcharged us. I can't say more how poor of an experience we had. Then we got an email saying that employees had been taking payments from customers and pocketing it, so warned us about who to pay. Worst experience. I would avoid like the plague.

MY ADVICE: 1. DO NOT SIGN if you're a tenant - this opens…read moreyou up to liability but the tenant is never liable for work the homeowner or property management (PM) company ordered. This is a dishonest tactic to shift liability onto vulnerable tenants. 2. In my experience, they are there to lie and coverup air pollution issues on behalf of wealthy homeowners to the detriment of renters' health and safety, and you should be aware of this and brace yourself for what will be a highly hostile visit. 3. Do not expect them to behave with any modicum of respect or decency, and you should have a family member, or loved one present when these people are in your home. 4. Record the air quality testing with your cell phones or other device!! You will need proof of all the ludicrous things they say, the dishonest tactics they employ, and shoddy work they do if you want to fight for clean air for you, your pets, your guests, your roommates/friends, and/or your family. Firstly, there was never a debate about there being mold in this house when I first moved in 3.5 mo ago. The smell was diffuse, in every room of the house. The realtor reported it to the PM, and the PM employee who did the initial walk through reported it and recommended a mold inspection. The PM first said it was the carpets, then carpets got re-cleaned but the problem persisted, then they said it was from the leaks in the ceiling at the time from recent rains but leaks dried out and the problem persisted, then the PM company ordered a "mold inspection" where the guy didn't even take any samples (alongside many other issues), and when I complained about that they sent the nightmare company that is QIC. Mathew/QIC came to my home on 1/28/25, and we started by showing him the bathroom where all guests and myself frequently smell mold. QIC argued persistently and said it wasn't mold it was standing water. I told him I put some bleach down the drains once to try to kill the mold and that's probably why it smells a little better now, but it's a chronic problem. He dismissed this entirely although standing water is OF COURSE a mold risk, and he declared there's no mold in the bathroom. I told him I was concerned that mold had gotten in the ductwork bc although the guest bathroom is primarily the problem, I still smell it in my bedroom when the AC is on, despite airing the place out for the 3.5 mo.s, buying an air purifier, and pouring bleach down the drains (and after carpets have been re-cleaned). QIC said if mold isn't visible on the outside of the vents then it's never inside the vents or ductwork. This is an absolute lie. So according to QIC, mold only exists if it's externally visible without having to move anything or look inside anything. That's insane. Of course mold exists in places where it's not readily visible unless you actually look. Mathew went on to say that QIC NEVER looks in ductwork. Apparently the company who NEVER examines the inside of ductwork is an expert on what goes on inside the ductwork given external condition alone???? This is only about 5-10 minutes into our visit, and it just gets worse. QIC's entire demeanor is hyper aggressive thus far -eye brows raised, head shaking, eyes wide, talking loudly, interrupting, etc. My dog was abused before by a man, my dog normally gets scared by having men in the house, but my dog normally barks at men. My dog stayed laying down in the bedroom with his whole body shaking in fear throughout QIC's entire visit. That's never happened before. Next, QIC tried to pressure me to sign authorizing the work in a really repeated, high pressure way. When I finally called the PM, he backed off immediately. No other maintenance personnel have ever done or tried this. This next part is what made me really think that QIC just likes to treat women especially bad. QIC kept saying that he'll put the air test equipment where I want. He suggested the bathroom. I said that right now it seems like the living room is the worst so we should put it there. He kept arguing, got louder, more interruptive, and saying he's not going to do anything without my consent AS HE WAS putting his testing equipment in the bathroom. I just gave up, but he did it again. I have some orthopedic pads (under 1in) on my hallway floor for my dog, and there's an air intake grill at the floor level in the hall which goes to the heater. The AC, not the heater, was on the entire time, and the AC is primarily the issue. The AC is ran by an HVAC outside with no return air vent that anyone can find. QIC said he wanted to move the pads but wouldn't move them w/out my consent, and when I asked him why he gaslit me, got argumentative, and did it w/out my consent w/out ever providing a reason. He just forced his will against my consent while telling me I agreed to something I didn't agree to. The whole visit from start to finish was more hostile, more unprofessional, & more filled with lies & disrespect than anything I've ever experienced.

I wanted to share a very disappointing experience with Rocky Mountain which a plumbing company…read morereferred to me. The Plumbing was out doing some work on my property and one of my concerns is that there was discoloration around my toilet in the guest bathroom. the plumber said there could be a leak and even the possibility of black mold that could have spread into the rooms and hallway. He called Rocky Mountain and they came out. Based on the information the plumber gave me I trusted his professional judgement since I had a history with them and came highly recommended. The toilet was not at this time ever lifted and looked at. I am a single woman and rely on the professional companies to help direct me and I really like and trusted the plumber. Rocky Mountain gave me a quote to mitigate if this was in fact a huge issue which I agreed to. However, after the toilet was removed, it turned out that the only repair needed was replacing the toilet wax ring, there was also some urine about 10" in front of the toilet, but no major leak or damage that justified the extensive mitigation work that had been performed. The mitigation crew spoke no English, making communication difficult. They proceeded to remove all of my bathroom flooring and baseboards and performed extensive mitigation services which they were instructed to do by there crew leader who was not on site. I was charged 5384.04 for work that, in my opinion, was not necessary based on what was found. When the crew leader came to my property after the demo he confirmed this was not needed but already completed. To Rocky Mountains credit (after long arguments), they did replace and install the new flooring. However, I still believe I should not have been charged thousands of dollars for mitigation services not needed. As a result of this experience, my bathroom was unusable for over a month, causing inconvenience and stress. To make matters worse, I received a lawyer's demand letter yesterday seeking the remaining balance of 2692.02 before I ever received another bill by mail or email. In my opinion, this entire experience was handled poorly. I felt pressured into approving unnecessary work and was left with a large bill for services that were not justified. It was an excessive charge for an issue that did not exist. I would not recommend Rocky Mountain restoration based on my experience. I also believe I should be reimbursed for the remaining amount I just paid.
