This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. We were referred to Randy S through another company…read more We had an issue with our air conditioning unit & circuit breakers being exposed to a water leak from an upstairs unit (we are on the second floor). We wanted to make sure since it was a slow leak that there was no mold growing behind or inside the unit. Called this company and they were able to set an appointment for us the following day. I had explained we had a prior test done through our building's subcontractors, but we wanted a second opinion and to ensure every measure was taken before we were going to get the work done with our buildings team. Johnathan P arrived early the following morning and was extremely thorough in his work. We received a full report the following day that broke everything down as far as the visual inspection what it revealed and the readily visible water and suspected mold impact on the building materials and with in the HVAC closet. The environmental assessment was similar to the contractors our leasing office used but the surface sample mold spores taken the previous company failed to test for. Randy was supportive with our concerns was available through text messages if we had a questions and along with the report he provided us very descriptive information with what we were actually dealing with. This company was wonderful to work with and higley recommend We were in an unfortunate situation due to our living conditions that we were unable to choose this company for repairs and had to go with a quick fix from our rental property. Eventually after battling back and for with the leasing office they FINALLY had a subcontractor come out and clean all the coils to the unit as it in fact had questionable and concerning mold growth. We would not have known this if we hadn't had Adaptive Environmental Consulting Group come out and do the professional analysis that should have been done to begin with. Also, the leasing office wanted a copy of this report and we were unwilling to do so because they were not willing to reimburse us the cost of this 2nd opinion.
