Hagi is very patient, kind, and down to earth. The master of locks! He saved me after I locked myself outside my apartment at 530 in the morning in the freezing cold with no where to go!! No car keys or apt keys it was not looking promising! He came and had it opened in less than 10 mins. He is very experienced, optimistic, and kind. Extremely intelligent and efficient. My wife was robbed in manhattan and had our car key along with her id and address, so I had to get the keys re-programmed and needed a copy. Hagi showed up at my apt and worked with me to get everything done for a reasonable price, less expensive than other auto locksmiths in Brooklyn or manhattan. He's a friendly guy and when you see his van you'll think you're watching a sci-fi movie. I highly recommend his service he is fair, kind, and knowledgeable. read more

Haji came to my rescue, much like the other reviewers. I lost the key to my partner's 2003 Honda CR-V (oops) and we needed to move it before the morning for street sweeping. After calling around and getting multiple quotes for upwards of $300 to replace the key, I found Hagi's webiste and gave him a call. Not only did he come to my house at midnight, he quickly popped the lock to the car door and replaced the key for $150. He was also totally sweet and put me at ease while I was in somewhat of a crisis. read more

So after an awesome summer party I irresponsibly lost my in laws car keys(smh). Contacted the Dealership that advised me that it will cost me almost $400.00 to replace and reprogram the car key. Also i would have to bring the car to the dealership as well. told them I cant bring the car to them if i dont have the spare(which was in FL with the inlaws). There response was get the spare. So then I shopped around for Automotive locksmiths and the first one that popped up for NYC told me $300-350.However due to language barrier and lack of care for my situation I did not feel that they understood my situation. So then i contacted Locksmith & Roadside Waiters, and was given to Hagi right away who beat both quotes and new exactly what i was asking for, He kept in contact me through out the whole day as I gathered information showing proof of ownership and everything. When I got home to where my car sat for 3 days and he was there in 10 min after my call. I was in my car and had a key in almost an hour. It was a huge relief and very pleased with the assistance he provided. I strongly recommend Hagi for any automotive lockout he was a pleasure to work with and very fast. read more

Hagi has been a huge help and a major problem solver for me, all while being a fun and super easy guy to hang with. I recently bought a used 2010 Subaru Forester, unfortunately it only came with one key, after some research I learnt you could buy cheap uncut ones online at eBay. I bought one and called Locksmith & Roadside Waiters to make a clone. Hagi was really quick and punctual, even though I was in Brooklyn and he had to come from Queens and had another job in Manhattan afterwards. As it turns out the eBay company had sent me the wrong type of key... Luckily Hagi had the right type of key that he sold to me at the same reasonable rate, he used his laser cut machine to make a clone and then programmed the security chip. Later on I returned my eBay keys they sent me some new ones along with a keyless entry remote. eBay sent me the wrong type again! This time Hagi used his new machine and was able to reprogram the key to work! Top level locksmith work there. He also programmed the keyless entry key fob too. I have spoken to quite a few people about prices and Hagi is still the cheapest. I absolutely recommend him and am glad I found locksmith & roadside waiters! read more

Can we say morning from HELL!! After getting my car booted and losing my car keys I called Hagi praying he could help. I explained my situation and let him know that I lost my keys and needed a replacement for my Infiniti G35. He gave me a quote of 150 (up to 80 less than competitors) and he sent Roy to the reacue. Within 20 min Roy was there prepared and ready to assist me. Not only did he make me a new key within 10 min, he also help disarm my car alarm seeing as though I lost my remote. He refused to leave until I was settled and ready to go. Let's not forget this was all done in this horrible NYC weather. All in all, Roy and Hagi provided the ultimate in customer service, and I could not have been more pleased with the service!!!! read more

This is the locksmith to use, seriously, look no further! Stellar customer service, honest, efficient, personable and an excellent craftsman. I needed a spare key made for my car and Hagi scheduled me with flexibility & ease. He created the key on the spot and tested it to ensure everything was in order. Hagi is 5 stars indeed! read more

I just called this company and the price was a little to high for me. I told the guy that it was a little high and that I would could someone else. So I received a voice mail from the dispatcher of the company. She said that I was rude (which was a lie) and that if I didn't like the price that was ok. I have the right to choose who to do business with. If I choose not to do business with your company you can't get mad at me. She also said that a lot of us New Yorkers like to be rude and disrespectful. I didn't like that comment at all. I will never do business with this company read more

Do not ever use this scam company!!!! Last month I called this company to order a new remote key for my 2006 Nissan. For paying a hefty price of $350 I would expect my key to work for years but no- after one month the key just stopped working! I tried to call him back so he can get me a new key but he was very rude and had no intention of coming out to rectify my problem. This guy doesn't even have a shop to go to. Stay far away don't waste your money on faulty products!!! read more

I couldn't turn the ignition with the car key for my Honda CRV, with the steering wheel locked. I tried to troubleshoot with all the basic steps. 1. Push steering wheel toward springy side, hold, turn key. 2. Spray WD-40. 3. Slide key in and out multiple times. 4. Repeat step 1....nothing worked. At the time, I didn't know what the problem was. I called the dealership and they said it could either be the key ($150 + $100 tow to dealership) or the ignition which could run anywhere from $800-1800 to replace. Wasn't worth shelling that much for my car. I decided to do some research...problem is...found lots of news articles about scam mobile auto-lock companies that rip you off and do horrible work...until I found Hagi on Yelp and the reviews looked legit enough. I called him last week and he showed up at my place exactly when he said he would. I was the one who was late...and he was just amazing. Didn't even ask me why I was late (I felt bad about that). Very professional. Very down to earth. He's got a cool van setup. I'm very inquisitive and often find myself working on my car when I shouldn't, and he had no problem explaining and showing me every step he took down to replacing the bad tumblers and pins. It turned out both the key and ignition were bad. Hagi was very quick at getting the problem resolved. He fixed my key and made an extra too! Nonetheless, I'm definitely going to return back to this review in a few months to update, or if a problem comes up. But, for now, I'm very confident in his workmanship and would certainly recommend him. Save yourself the time and headache and call Hagi. Thank you Hagi! read more

Called this place and got an appointment immediately. We communicated with Hagi, who was pleasant and responsive, but were taken care of by another person (I don't know his name).
