I had to get a key copied. The key opens my front house door and the vestibule door. I went to two other places before coming here. Both were hardware stores that offered key copying services. Both hardware stores (Tarzian and Lehman Locksmiths) in Park Slope failed to copy the keys correctly--the key didn't work on either door with the keys made from Lehman. The key would only work on the outside door with the keys made from Tarzian. I actually had Tarzian try twice and both attempts were a failure. Finally went to All Security and he carefully made the keys once and they worked in both doors. Great local place specializing in keys and locks. Highly recommend over hardware stores or less specialized shops. Cash only. read more

Tony saved the day!! Got locked out of my apartment tonight. Keys in hand, the lock itself seemed to be stuck, but with a quick call All Security Locksmiths saved the day. They answered right away and came straight over. Tony got me back into the apartment in legit two minutes flat, was able to explain what the problem was, and filed down the part of the door frame that was causing the snag. He was transparent and fair in the pricing and quick and efficient in his work. Highly recommend for anyone in a pinch. I will be shouting this company's name and singing their praises from inside my home now. :) read more

Won't go anywhere else! Tony is simply the best and is very dependable. Highly recommend

Highly recommend! Tony came over and swapped out three barrels in our locks quickly. It was an extremely efficient process start to finish and felt it was fairly priced. I hope I don't get locked out of my apartment but know who to call if I do. read more

Had a tricky problem with an old lock on an old door in an old building. TONY was amazing - very talented and patient.

I'll never use this locksmith again. I called them to repair a patio door lock. The repairman took the lock apart and supposedly fixed it--it was working properly when he left. A few days later it wasn't. The problem: he "fixed" a part that WASN'T broken and ignored another part that WAS broken. (I know it was broken because I disassembled the lock myself before he showed up and noticed the part was broken and called it to his attention). The same repairman came back a second time, took the lock apart, and discovered the broken part. He then told me I'd be charged $35 for the part (which actually costs about $8) and a $95 installation fee on top of the $163 I already paid them for the first "repair." A total of $293 for totally incompetent service. I told him I wouldn't pay, asked him to leave, ordered the part I needed online, and will be installing it myself. My advice: take your business elsewhere. read more

The only locksmith I have found where the key cutting actually works in the intended door!!! Been to many others locksmiths around the city and been super frustrated! Thank you All Security Locksmiths read more

Great job and I hope I never have to use them again. Well, it was bound to happen sometime. I locked myself out of my apartment, lost my key, and my spare was inside instead of with my neighbor Josie. It was late afternoon on a Sunday, and I checked reviews for a highly rated locksmith in the area. They fit the bill and I called. The gruff Israeli on the phone gave me a price estimate and said someone could be here within half an hour. The locksmith was prompt, courteous, and methodical. He tried to pick the lock, but because it was ancient and my landlord never repairs anything, he needed to drill through the lock and replace it. Sadly for me, this is more expensive. He replaced the lock, wondering aloud who the heck installed it so poorly in the first place. Still, it was less expensive than I anticipated, and I was impressed with the quick service on a Sunday, making a potentially stressful situation less so. If you ever need a locksmith, I recommend All Security. Cash only. read more

This place is ACES! Went in today for a new Multi-lock cylinder and extra keys for same. A very professional worker named Sturt (pronounced Stuart) suggested a way I might possibly have the old cylinder re-keyed and save a lot of money. Instead I opted for a new cylinder, as there is a magnet security feature in the new version that is not present in my old lock. Sturt was courteous, knowledgeable, and very customer focused. He even extended the job discount to my order and he was very prompt. Can't say enough good things about this place, they are tops. Why not try them with any of your locksmith needs. You won't be disappointed with how you're treated. read more

I stopped in here because I had a key that I needed help getting copies of. I wouldn't say they were particularly helpful. I got turned away because they told me they didn't have the key and when I asked them do you know where I could find someone who could make a copy of this key they said "I don't know I just work here." So overall I would say the customer service is top notch but probably still worth a check in. read more

Super efficient service - made it to me in less than 20 minutes and got me into an apartment I locked myself out of in even less time. Note: cash only on Sundays. read more

I had an awful experience with a locksmith place in Park Slope that tried to rip me off, then I called all security! Roger (the owner) takes great pride in his company. His guy Timmy was AMAZING!! He was here within 20 minutes and was GREAT! Was honest about the price (which was 40% of what the other place tried to charge) and did an excellent job. I WILL NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE!! These guys are the best! read more

My apartment door lock broke on my way out. Called and picked a time for them to come by, which happened to be late at night. Tony was right on time, and he found a way to disengage the lock and replace the broken component without breaking anything else, which saved me a bunch of money. Hopefully I won't need a locksmith anytime soon, but if I do, I feel much better knowing this company's in the neighborhood. Heads up, it's cash only. read more

All Security has been quick, efficient and friendly every time I've had to use them. I just had them help me fix an interior door where the bolt had broken off inside the latch and they got it sorted in record time. The best locksmith in Park Slope and probably all of Brooklyn. Love these guys. read more

Friendly staff that can quickly do most keys. They do not have the equipment to make keys out of steel.

We have used All Security Locksmith to get copies of keys multiple times. They actually were the ONLY ones that were able to finally make duplicate copies of a specific key after trying multiple times with other locksmiths. We also just used them to replace the cylinder of our Multilock for our new apartment. The appointment was for 2-4 and the locksmith arrived at 225pm. He was fast and professional. If I ever need anything I'll be sure to call them. They serviced in Prospect Heights. They also accept credit cards or check. read more

Am I dreaming? On time? Reasonably priced? Professional and courteous? Great work? Yes to all of it. Changed a messed up lock and went above and beyond, fixing our entire messed up door. Wow. I wish life was like this all the time! read more

The owner of All Security was shockingly rude to me. I've lived in the neighborhood for many years and have used this company numerous times. I'll be going elsewhere next time. I called All Security from work because my son and his babysitter were locked in our apartment. One of All Security's locksmiths had replaced our locks several weeks prior. Ever since then, one of the locks kept sticking. It only happened every so often, and by jiggling the lock a bit, we would eventually be able to get the door open. When I first spoke to Roger, he berated me for not calling sooner. Never mind that the problem was caused by his own locksmith! By the time he called me back to tell me he could get one of his guys to my place at around 5:45 pm, our babystter had managed to get the door open. It was around 5:30 and I was about to leave my office in Manhattan. I asked if he could send someone around 6:30, so I could be there, and he refused, saying that his guys leave at 6:00. Really?! A locksmith that doesn't provide any evening services?! read more

AVOID THE SELF ENTITLED POOR EXCUSE FOR A LOCKSMITH named Stewart et al. How hard is it to make a key copied?? More so, if you call yourself an expert. Avoid him because he should know the most important thing in business which is the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT! Even when he is WRONG. The business I am sure has been long standing for years and NOAH there former locksmith has done a great job a long time and always has been above and beyond. But to get someone who has no respect for the customer is OUTRIGHT WRONG. All I asked was for a simple key to be made $4.75 per key it's that simple do it once and do it right! #monkeybusiness read more

EXPENSIVE. OTher than that- the service was quick and great but over three hundred and fifty dollars for 3 lock changes? I was certainly paying for convenience here- next time I would shop around. read more

Love these guys. I tried making copies of keys at 3 different hardware stories in Brooklyn, and they were all sticky or the wrong size blank. Finally decided to find a legit locksmith and success! If you need any lock/keys related services GO to All-Security and ask for 'Stuart'. He is competent and courteous and responds immediately. He is part of the larger practice on Prospect Avenue and they are 24/7. I compared prices to other local providers who over priced considerably. All-Security replaces or re-keyed a Front Door Medeco cylinder with severall copies, they came on-site within 24 hrs and did a great job. The are terrific! read more

i've lived in park slope for most of my 36 years and every couple of years i would give these guys another chance to make keys. every time i give them another chance, they make keys that don't work very well. they're a little bit better than tarzian (the hardware store across the street who makes the worst key copies ever) but none of this is very positive. it's almost not fair that i discuss how they were years ago because they could be better now... i'm not chancing it though. read more

I'd been having problems with my apt. door locks for some time, then one day, they were literally falling off my door. I had to cancel a weekend away to deal with it, and called All Security. Within a half hour on a summer weekend they arrived, and re-installed new locks top to bottom. It was a big job that took some time but it was done really well and I wasn't price gouged due to last minute weekend emergency status. I love these guys, a true testament that community customer service is still exists. I highly recommend them, they know what they are doing, stand behind their work with a service guarantee. read more

These guys were great. My wife locked herself out of our apartment and called All Security Locksmiths. She said the owner was very nice and redirected her call to Tim. He came to our place in about 10 minutes and unlocked our door with speed and ease. He didn't scratch the door either. Tim was also very nice and gave helpful suggestions about our lock. Hopefully this will never happen again but if we get locked out another time they are first on my list to call. I highly recommend them! read more

I have lived in Park Slope for more than 20 years, and I began using All-Security when it was the neighborhood's only key and locksmith shop. I continue to turn to All-Security for any lock problem, big or small, and I have always been completely satisfied. Last week a key broke off deep inside our front door lock. I called All-Security, and a locksmith arrived in less than 60 minutes. (A locksmith who must have been in kindergarten the first time I used All-Security!) Other locksmith shops would probably have told me that we needed a brand-new lock and would have charged me accordingly. But the All-Security locksmith painstakingly extracted the broken key, oiled the lock, and said that the lock was good to go! He saved our lock and our $$$. read more

Great job duplicating keys. All 4 worked on first try. Price very reasonable. Recommended.

When I needed an extra key for my '05 Prius, I decided to go the DIY route and reprogram a new transponder I got from Amazon. The big challenge was finding a place that would cut the blank - they all said the same thing: "it's double-sided, plus we can't cut YOUR blank." This dude didn't even blink (once I agreed to absolve him of the responsibility of replacing my blank if it didn't work, natch). $5, in and out, worked perfectly. Couldn't be happier. read more

I don't often write reviews, but based on my experience I wholeheartedly recommend All Security Locksmiths. We had a problem with the door to our coop apartment. All Security sent someone last week who seemed to fix the problem, but shortly afterward we discovered that the lock still didn't work completely. So this week they sent a different guy who put in a lot of time to diagnose the now less obvious issue. After about an hour, he completed the repair, and management didn't charge us anything, even though the problem was more extensive than originally thought. Good job! read more

I had a number of annoying lock issues that had accumulated--an iron gate lock was not closing properly, a backdoor lock was unreliable, a doorknob kept falling off a spindle, another lock kept getting stuck, and more like this. They sent a really good locksmith who looked at everything, gave me an estimate, went to get the necessary parts, took care of it all. I highly recommend them. read more

Excellent service...quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend them if you live in the Park Slope neighborhood.

I have used them ever since I moved to brooklyn 9 year ago. Luckily their work is so good I haven't had a need to use them frequently. Most recently I had a locksmith named Noah come to change my locks for a recent move. He was extremely professional and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will use again. Thanks! read more
