Very fast, great price and Daniel tech was absolutely awesome. He seemed to really know what he was doing, and executed that fast. He explained things to me and when I let him know I'm not mechanical inclined at all - he explained again and I totally grasped what was happening. Imagine that. Andy is professional and answered my questions in an informative and respectful way. He put at me at ease immediately. All the hardware replaced, door frame shaved to avoid that pressure on lock, which caused problem, and such a great price. Spoke to Andy and seriously, it was all fixed and done like 90 min later. I can't be happier ... good job guys. read more

Locksmith Andy - Dan the man shaving door to ensure new lock 100% pressure free. So good. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Very expensive the locksmiths of today. And most don't like to give prices over the phone. They say they have to look at the job. They like to get their foot in the door. Some say a 30 or 40 dollar call charge to come down but the next charge is the big one that's the cost for the job. When you don't like their price they try to charge you the 30 to 50 dollar service charge for coming down. Not good read more

Big help! Came in 30 minutes and Greg fixed our door quickly and securely. Straightforward, responsive and excellent. What else could you want in a locksmith? read more

Great locksmith! Came home from an evening out around 1am only to discover that one of our locks had broken on and we were locked out. Locksmith Andy answered the phone and was at our apartment in 25 minutes. No only did he get us in that night, he came back two days later to help install a smart lock. All the service was excellent. Would recommend. read more

They partner with good people. Prompt and on time and skilled at what they do. They didn't try to push for a full replacement of a mortise lock which would have cost $$$$, but were knowledgeable enough to fix the issues with our front door lock, which involved cutting down the spindle and other fixes read more

Great service, very responsive, reasonable prices, helped with several issues, including opening a stuck door and installing a new lock

I wanted to install a new lock on my front door, and was pleasantly surprised how easy the process was with Locksmith Andy. Daniel came over within a few hours after my initial inquiry and installed the lock with no issue. Would use these guys again. read more

A very professional, competent, and knowledgeable staff. I felt well taken care of. I was grateful for the help and especially appreciated not being taken for a lot of money to get the work done. Reasonable fees. read more

Daniel the technician came quickly and got the job done efficiently. The price was cheaper than other places I called around for and they were extremely quick to respond with a quote and to send someone out. Would definitely use Locksmith Andy again. read more

Andy SAVED me and completely out of the kindness of his heart. I was locked out in the evening -- no other locksmiths in my area were open to copy a key -- and he happened to know of a store in the area that was close to closing and he went in to get my key for me....and then drove it to me! This was all in the span of 30m from when I was locked out...to back in my apartment. I can't thank Andy enough and could not recommend a better business! read more

I highly recommend using Andy as your locksmith. I received his name from a neighbor who told me I wouldn't be disappointed and she was right. For the background, I have a terrible door on my apartment that is not sold anywhere locally. The locking mechanism is in the doorknob by pulling it up. Well, our doorknob broke off. I had five different locksmiths come to look at it before I received Andy's information., all said that they couldn't do anything. One quoted me some crazy price to try, several suggested I replace the door (which was also a crazy amount of money I was being quoted). Andy came over and was willing to try. He spent his time, even left to get more supplies, and after a considerable amount of time fixed my door, for peanuts compared to what others were quoting me. He even texted to follow up to make sure that it was working a few days later. I am so happy to have Andy's information. He will be the only locksmith I call in the future. read more

Daniel came exactly on time and changed three locks for me. He was excellent - very meticulous! He was also very pleasant and hard working. I would call Locksmith Andy again ((this was my second time), and I recommend this business enthusiastically and unequivocally. Hi read more

Greg from locksmith Andy came very quickly after I locked myself out with my dog. He checked my ID and was able to get me back into my apartment very quickly using a tool that did not damage the door. Hopefully we won't need to use these services again , but if so it's good to know that they are available. read more

Prompt, reliable, efficient, careful and will not break the bank. A dream experience for when lock and door nightmares occur!

Andy saved me today. I lost my apartment key running in the park, my friend with my spare had somehow ALSO lost that one, so I was stuck. I called Andy and he was here within 25 minutes. He replaced my lock in an even shorter amount of time. More than that he was unbelievably kind. When I realized Andy couldn't pick my lock (meaning the whole thing would have to be replaced), I just lost it. Andy--I hope you're reading this--thank you for being there for me in more ways than one. I will never forget the kindness you showed me. You made me feel like my dad was here with me. I promise I will repay you someday. read more

Andy to the rescue! He really got me out of a jam yesterday. The lock on my car door randomly died on me. I was stranded outside of a Clinton hill coffee shop with nowhere to go. Andy was able to get my location really quickly, open my door and get me in my car. I can't thank him enough. He was very thoughtful in that he would text me back very quickly and kept me posted with status updates on his eta. So I wasn't left twiddling my thumbs on the sidewalk on a cold December Wednesday evening. I found him to be really kind and trustworthy too. I know a couple things about this trade but I play dumb. And I really appreciate that he didn't try to upsell me or anything. He genuinely wanted to help me get my problem fixed and back on the road at a normal price. Having a locksmith you can trust is just such a relief. No stress, quick, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I'd call again. read more

We've used this locksmith five times already in our small coop building. They are fantastic. Andy is super responsive as well. In the last job, which was to fix the lock on our front door, I emailed at night, he responded the same night, and a technician was at our place by the next morning. Also, for our jobs, I got bids from other locksmiths before going with Andy. He offered the best price each time. He's also really friendly and customer service oriented. I've had locksmiths who act like they are doing you a favor to come to your place and Locksmith Andy is the opposite of that. I recommend him 100%. read more

Responsive and very reasonable price. The technician was competent and tried his best to improvise and help. Will use again if needed.

Loved being able to set up an appointment so easily through text! Daniel showed up to the appointment on time and was able to fix an issue with our deadbolt for a reasonable price. Overall I'm super happy with the efficient service and would definitely use them again in the future! read more

If we could give Andy 10 stars, we would. Came out to install new locks on New Year's Eve and was here 20 minutes after we called. VERY reasonable pricing, great professional service, and a really nice dude. Totally satisfied! read more

Andy saved me! I locked myself out of my apartment and my mind immediately flashed to the worst case scenario or being stuck all day and then having to pay a fortune to get my lock changed. I found Andy on Yelp, called, and he was here in 15 minutes. It then took him less than 10 minutes to get me back into my apartment without damaging my lock or door. If you're locked out of your home and reading this, don't panic and call Andy! read more

Quick and friendly service! I realized I locked myself out the night before and texted in the morning before they were open about scheduling. Andy got back to me super quick and was able to come within the hour. Got the door open in under 5mins and also gave me some advice about an issue with my door. Will definitely be using him again if I ever have an issue in the future! read more

My lock mechanism broke this past Sunday around 2:00pm, my key was stuck in the lock, wouldn't turn and I was locked out of my apartment. My friend recommended that I call Andy, and I'm so glad that I did. He was not working that day and was on his was to a bbq, but he still came over to my apartment 20 minutes later!!! He fixed everything and saved the day! And on top of that, his prices are great! I was so happy with his work that I am having him come over again soon and replace a worn basement knob in my building storage area. Call him if you need a locksmith! read more

I had the best experience with Andy. He was honest and did a great job. The project I had for him was a tough one and he got the job done with no problem - a true miracle worker. Would highly recommend for any one looking for Locksmith services. Thanks Andy! read more

They were great. Fast, efficient, clean and a pleasure to work with!

Our building has used Andy (and Daniel) a few times now. They're speedy, efficient and trustworthy. Wouldn't use anyone else!

Andy and his crew are amazing! While coming home on a cross-country red-eye back to NYC, I realized that I had left my keys INSIDE my apartment. Andy was prompt in getting back to me in the and had someone letting me into my apartment within the hour. His services are professional, guaranteed, and priced much more fairly than other locksmiths in the area. Thank you, Locksmith Andy! read more

I lost the last key to my bike's kryptonite u-lock over the weekend. Without they key's serial code, my only options were to cut off the lock or abandon my bike to be one of the many bike zombies chained to bike locks throughout the city. I was a bit unsure if many locksmiths would be open to cutting the lock for me due to the equipment needed and other things. However, I got in contact with Andy and he sent me a link to his business' Instragram. On it, was a photo of him using an electric handsaw and I knew he'd be able to get the job done for me. We planned to meet the following morning. He was very prompt at responding to messages and when I met him to break the lock, he was incredibly professional. The job took him about ten minutes of persistent sawing to break the lock and once he was done, I had a nice little souvenir. Again very professional and he stuck to the price we agreed upon. I will definitely reach out to him again if in need of a locksmith and recommend him to everyone I know. Thanks, Andy! read more

holy crap, andy saved my night! i'm a dog walker who was picking up a client's dog from daycare and came home to a jammed lock box. i had the dog with me, my client was unreachable, and i was panicking about getting inside. i called andy and he was super helpful! even though i was in a desperate situation, he still followed protocol for opening someone else's lock box, which i was impressed with. in the end, he was able to open the lock box without breaking it. super professional and reliable guy! would definitely recommend his services. read more

Andy was great. I lost my key and Andy was able to get me inside within about 20min. I called him and got a quote and he came to me within 20min. And there was a discount. This was my first time dealing with a locksmith and Andy was great, speedy, and professional. The other place I called first never answered the phone and never even got back to me. Glad Andy was able to come through. Thanks again!!! read more

True professional. Showed up in under 30 minutes. Changed the lock in under five. Empathized with our situation and offered advice and comfort. 100% the guy to call in the Crown Heights, Bed sty area and beyond. Thanks Andy! read more

Really nice guy. Unfortunately the work just hasn't held up. The locks aren't tight, they're misaligned, and they were poorly installed. Two screws have already come out. While we appreciate his responsiveness and I'm sure he has plenty of expertise, in our experience we can't recommend him and unfortunately have to hire someone else to fix the work. read more

Helped us fix an entry gate lock installed poorly by another local locksmith who clearly overcharged us for shoddy work. I have Locksmith Andy saved in my phone now if we ever need a locksmith again. And actually did call on a separate occasion. They answered promptly and helped me to fix the problem on my own! read more

Our bathroom door got locked from the inside at 10pm tonight. We could not open it with the key and could not get the door knob off because it had no screws and the release tab on the side was broken. After struggling with the lock for 45 min, we called Andy, who arrived in 30 min, and fixed the problem in two minutes flat! He was very kind, personable, competent and so reasonably priced! I highly recommend this locksmith. He is awesome! read more
