Toby is the best! He's straight up, no nonsense, professional, friendly, and gets the job done without wasting anyone's time. He didn't try to upsell me so the job cost half as much as other locksmiths quoted me. He did what we agreed made sense given the situation. I recommend him one hundred percent! read more

Trust the reviews! Finding a good and honest locksmith in the city is not easy these days, so I'm really glad we found Toby. He showed up on time, got the job done quickly and efficiently, and gave us an honest assessment. Great experience overall--highly recommend! read more

Toby is great! He is extremely responsive. He did an excellent and timely job installing a lock for me at a fair price. Even more impressively when I reached out with a question about a lock I thought was broken, Toby told me how to get it to work without any repair. It will still need replacement eventually (and I'll use him) but the avoided the need for emergency work entirely. read more

Toby from Falcon Locksmith is the best; if I could give 10 stars I would! My tenant returned home from holiday last night and when she attempted to open the door the cylinder spinned until it came out of the lock. I found Falcon on Yelp and requested a quote; Toby responded in less than 2 mins. I sent him a pic of the lock and he sent me a quote right back. Toby was able to get to the apt in about 20 mins and get my tenant in the door. He called and gave me the options of either replacing the cylinder or the entire lock; I asked if replacing the cylinder would fix the issue and he advised that he would put in a new cylinder to see how the lock performs. I told Toby if the cylinder didn't fix the issue we would just replace the entire lock. We got off the phone and not long after I received a call advising the work was completed and the cylinder replacement worked, which saved me approximately $150. Toby didn't try to take advantage of the situation and force a new lock on me like some other locksmith's would have, he was honest and did what was needed to resolve the issue. Toby is a man of integrity and I appreciate that, especially in the times we are currently in where everyone is a scammer. I will definitely call on Toby again if the need arises! read more

I'm so happy to have found Toby! He is very courteous and professional. He worked very fast to fix my issue. Key got stuck from the inside. The whole thing had to be replaced (it was very old). Now my door opens so much easier too. He also fixed it in a way that I don't have to pull or slam the door just to get it closed. Highly recommend! Thank you! read more

Came help us out with an electrical issue that turned out to be a strike that was on its last legs. We had some issues with voltage in the cold and he gave suggestions and let us try a tester unit for a few days to make sure it worked then came and installed a new one. Was super on top of everything and unlike past locksmiths didn't ghost us when it came to any followup questions. read more

Thank goodness for Toby. We needed a locksmith asap. When you need a locksmith asap, you need resourcefulness, skill, reliability and trustworthiness with a hefty dose of prompt and easy communication. THIS IS YOUR GUY. He came on time, laid out my options patiently and clearly beforehand and gave me a fair price. He did a beautiful job on my front door. I will be using him again when I eventually get that dream front door. Until then, he is my go-to locksmith recommendation. read more

I had my safe key stolen from me, so that meant having to hire a locksmith to break into my safe. I tried calling several different spots, and the minute I said "safe", most said "Oh, sorry, we don't work with safes," almost immediately. I was just about to give up when I called Toby. He was hard to hear at first (the phone connection was awful), but we ended up texting (which was way easier). He came the next day and made quick work. So fast that I wondered what the point of having a safe is, if someone can break into it in under 15 mins (sigh). I'm just glad he was able to come the next day and he was a professional. It wasn't a cheap task, but an expense I had to make. Hopefully I won't be needing these types of services again in the future! read more

Once again Yelp reviewers saved the day by recommending Toby at Falcon Locksmith. He genuinely cares about the job he's doing. He explains everything clearly and gives you all the options and estimates before he starts. There was no damage to my landlord's property and he had me try out each copy of the same key to make sure they all worked. He was prompt and professional, but also very friendly to converse with as he worked. Very happy to give business to a local guy, and would definitely use again. read more

A+ experience. I was tasked with finding a locksmith on short notice for our office building. The first company we had scheduled continued to drag their feet and suddenly 2PM became 5, then 6 and then "hopefully within the hour". I quickly jumped on Yelp and found Falcon Locksmith. Admittedly, I chose them because of the outstanding reviews on here. Needless to say Toby did not disappoint. His rates were fair and his communication was stellar. Our locked was changed promptly. I work for a property management company and all I can say is we will be using Falcon Locksmith going forward for all of our properties. read more

Falcon Locksmith - Security Systems Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

TLDR: Professional, transparent, and upholds commitments. I leave 5 star reviews very sparingly (check my profile) and save them for exceptional services. Job: Install a new deadbolt lock on a metal door. Professional: Responded to my request for a quote fairly quickly. Got back to me with a quote and completed the job (installing a new lock) in a timely manner. Even insisted on sweeping after the job even though I said it wouldn't be necessary. Transparent: Walked me through what needed to be done. Answered any questions I had. Called out any potential issues before starting a task. When the job was done, made sure to fill out a paper receipt. Upholds commitments: Even when Toby realized that commuting from BK to NY would be tough and that I was unable to have work done during normal weekday hours, he decided to come in on his personal time since a commitment to do the job was already made. I know most businesses would have simply declined at this point. All in all a great experience and I would definitely recommend. read more

Quick response, fast service. He helped me pick out the correct lock and it worked out perfectly. Would recommend!

We have an old front door with an old knob and mechanism. Kept on getting locked inside and had to use a knife to manipulate the lock. I had NO idea the rabbit hole we were going down. I thought we just had to pick out the outward facing plate and knob. Toby was patient and knowledgeable, guiding me throughout this process. Lots of choices. Whew! We finally settled on how to move forward. He came, worked, and left happy customers. Easy going and confident. Definitely 5 stars. Thanks read more
