We wanted to install a new lock in our front door and called in for a quote. Compared to another locksmith (who quoted us nearly 1000 dollars!) this was a great value. Kfir did an awesome job -- super friendly and quick!! I had no idea something like this could be done so fast. Would definitely call back if we needed anything else done. Thanks guys! read more

Smooth operation from the beginning to the end. I needed service for a broken key in my lock and it was dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. I was helped all the out here in the Bronx which I greatly appreciate and the price quoted is what I was charged. The overall experience was pleasant and I was communicated with from the time I was given a quote to when they were 30 minutes away from my residence. 10s across the board. read more

I put out a Request for Quote for a locksmith, and Key Locksmith answered among others. I wound up texting, and then speaking to the owner. I let him know what I needed, and that I would like the work done in the next 48 hrs. The owner himself showed up to do the work right when he said he's be there. Someone stood in for me, and they said he was very professional and efficient. When the work was done, the owner sent me pictures and videos of the completed work! The videos also showed the new locks worked. Overall, glad I chose this company. No complaints, and I recommend them. read more

The only locksmith you'll ever need! After we had a basement break-in, Ori secured our door with a new deadbolt lock. He walked us through exactly what he intended to do, how it would be more secure than our previous lock, and provided us with a very reasonable quote for the job. It was late in the day, but he showed up promptly, worked quickly and was very professional. Very grateful to Ori and Key Locksmiths for their great service! read more

The job was well done. Kinda quick too. You could tell that the gentleman who helped us cared about his work and made sure that everything felt smooth and secure. Very professional. Courteous. Knowledgable. The price felt right on. I was so satisfied that when the gentleman left, I called his boss to sing our locksmith's praises. Just look at other people's glowing reviews here on Yelp. Found my front door had been forcefully opened making the lock useless. Called key locksmiths after getting a recommendation and was fortunate to have Ori respond. He was professional on time and communicative. He also saved me a lot of hassle and money by coming up with a creative fix bs having me buy a brand new door which would have cost thousands. Key Locksmiths was great to work with. I highly recommend them if you're in need of a new lock and or deadbolt to be installed. They have highly competitive pricing and are worth every penny! I needed a deadbolt to be installed on my apartment's door since there was not one already. I already had purchased a deadbolt and was having difficulty finding a locksmith to come out given this, but Ori did not mind this at all. He was super friendly and helpful. He really educated me on the differing grades of locks and so on, and I actually ended upgrading to a different lock based on his recommendation. He also was able to come within the hour, which was great. read more

I am beyond grateful for having this team help me out with the most complicated door knob. Not your classic door knob guys! This old apartment door was just giving me its last run for sure. I was locked out numerous times, having to use a credit card to get in. Imagine someone else getting in with a credit card??? No thanks. That was no issue once Key locksmiths came in! With in a few moments a whole brand new door knob was installed. They were beyond helpful, showing me what was broken, what was not working anymore and what could be done. He was very attentive with the most patience, which I could never have living in this city LOL. Truly happy to have called in and got the best service! Very professional and personable; highly recommend! Left a voicemail at 2pm on a Sunday of a 3-day weekend and got a response by 4pm. I had a deadbolt lock installed, service was very prompt & Kfir did a great job. Would recommend.

I called KL because my front door knob stopped working. I had gotten only my door knob replaced recently when a similar issue happened at a different locksmith but obviously that didn't do the whole trick. The technician from Key Locksmith who came out told me that it was because my entire mechanism was old and was probably never replaced in 30 years. I took a look at it when he uninstalled it and I was pretty horrified at how gross and old it was. I called KL in the morning and based on my avails they were able to come out immediately in the afternoon. My technical (I think it was Oran) was professional and communicative throughout. Hopefully I do not have this issue anymore! read more

OMG I thought I was locked out for good until tomorrow morning till my roommate returns in the morning. I immediately searched closest open locksmith and found these guys. Let me just say the service was almost instant. They reassured me that they'll be able to get me in. I loved the fact that they told me that I must verify my identity and address upon entry back into my apartment by either showing my id which I didn't have since I didn't think I'll need one throwing my trashbags out. I was able to show my ID once I was let back in. Thank you soooooo much. Hope to use these guys again. read more

My husband got locked out our apartment and everyone who has a key is out of town. So we found Key Locksmiths on Yelp, I called and a Technician showed up within 25 minutes. Couldn't have asked for a friendlier or more efficient service provider. They were quick to respond to yelp inquiry and quick to arrive on-site. The locksmith who came was friendly and professional. The only ding I'd say was the miscommunication between the locksmith and his basecamp around price. That made things slightly uncomfortable, but in the end they did the right thing and pretty quickly without a lot of back and forth. I hope to never need them again, but I would def call them first if I ever should. read more

I just moved into my new apartment and of course they were was a deadbolt that I needed rekeyed. I haven't moved in like a decade so I was amazed at how much more expensive it is just to change a lock. I agreed upon the price and they were very nice and arrived quickly and on time. The job was completed fast and satisfactorily. I take a star off for all the upselling and the paying more than I initially intended. But I am happy overall with the service. read more
