Andy is awesome!!! We came after work and he served us happily. He was friendly and so willing, even went downstairs to grab another bottle of liquor. The other bartender was straight miserable and rude, we were well aware that it was close to closing time, and were very very respectful of that, ordered quick, drank quick. She turned around and started talking about us and slamming things, very uncalled for. She could have just said we are closing BUT then she served everyone that walked in after us that she knew, so maybe just not welcoming of new people ? No problem, we just won't be coming back and do NOT think you should if you are looking to have a good time. read more

The food is amazing and most of the staff minus the woman bartender is great! I had the pleasure of dealing with the rude woman bartender! She didn't really listen and seemed annoyed that we entered the bar. when I said I will pay cash for MY order she put it on someone's tap. When we noticed this we told her and she said she will fix it and told me to pay which fine! She didn't put in the order for the quesadilla and was rude by giving that person a death stare when someone asked about said quesadilla. When we were done we notice another discrepancy in which my paid cash order was on another's person bill. When we brought it up to the bartender she goes to everyone in my party "can't you figure this out among yourself" and then proceeded to then go to the other side of the bar and talk crap and annoyed to her friends. This is the second time I had issues and felt like a bothersome by this one bartender. If she doesn't want to deal with people then don't work in an industry that requires service. Stopped in here on Tuesday night to check out the new menu by Chef Cory Gefell! He's also redoing the menu at sister bar Richmond's too! Typical pub ambiance, and it wasn't totally packed which was nice. Basic drinks and cocktails, you know the drill here! What's special about this place is that new menu. Y'ALL THIS FOOD!! It is top notch. I started out with the cauliflower, which was dope. It's crunchy, sweet, tangy.... it's just exactly what you want. Definitely order this. Then I had the pork belly tacos which were also dope - these are literally the only pork belly tacos I've had in Roc that are CRIPSY! I liveeeeeeee! The banana pepper slaw added an awesome brightness and the aioli brought a great umami. These were just super well balanced. My husband got the garlic Parmesan hot wings (yep - you can mix sauces) which I didn't try, but they looked great and he said they were awesome!! Don't sleep on this place! Stopped in Saturday around 5 for the bills game! They had a great list of craft beers to choose from. They had about 10-15 beers to choose from on tap. Just your normal small neighborhood bar. I didn't order food but people we were with did, they ordered a few dips and boneless wings. No complaints from anyone! The bar was packed for the game, it's not huge in there but there is a decent amount of seating. We ended up just pulling a table over to the bar area in front of the darts because no one was playing. The bartenders were very friendly, and helpful in giving me a sample to try of the beer before I ordered! There's darts, TVs and 2 bathrooms. We will come again and check this place out on another night and try some food. They do have a parking lot, but it was full when we arrived but there's plenty of side streets near by to find a spot and out front. read more

Kerny's is the best pub in Rochester! The food menu is ELITE & the drinks are fantastic. Up there for best wings in Rochester w/ their signature Kerny's sauce. I am a legit basic Benny... nobody, and I don't really rock with saying nice things, bout random Joe's, but I'm g'won have to admit that sometimes I may possibly have a bad attitude. On the muscle peeps... Drew lil daddy dot com (bartender/host) and his colluege (bartender/host), Lexi were absolutely flawless during my interactions with them. I have to admit that I was kinda in a salty mood, but these 2 wonderful people made me feel way unsalty. They didn't just try to make me feel better. They were just basic Benny nice people. I enjoyed our conversations and their pleasant demeanor, including the manner in which they interacted with me. Keeping it a , they're really nice people. I suggest that you come see for yourself on a random Friday night. They are both extremely quality human beings. The drinks are fine and the fries are sub-par. Best I can say. Went here tonight with my husband and was served by the bar tender. I got "the kerny and if it's named after the place you'd expect they did it because it's at least decent. It's described as a grilled ciabatta sandwich. The ciabatta was stale and cold. It had faint grill marks that were made at some point...but not today. The sandwich was cold and gross. My husbands fried chicken sandwich was very creepy meat. The fries on sides of each were a quarter the portion you'd expect and not even good. We tried it out to be different but there are so many better neighborhood bar and grills in this area - Trump, merchants, Winfield, Blossom - all are so much better. Not worth it here read more

Stopped today at 330 for a burger bartender said kitchen did not open til 4. So I had a beer and waited. only 2-3 other patrons in the place which bartender spent his entire time talking to (obviously buddies). OK so at 4:10 I have if kitchen is open yet - "oh yeah I forgot was reply". Ordered a cheeseburger and fries, I figured a good gauge of a new place. On the positive side it was a good quality burger seasoned well and cooked as ordered. Unfortunately the bun was terrible and the cheese was not even melted over the burger. I would have been happy to share these observations but bartender never asked. If you want to do food in a neighborhood bar and sell to folks that might not be a bit lit, these are the things you need to pay attention to.
