When we arrived there were three parties ahead of us in line all vying for window seating and no reservations. Each were told it would be upwards of an hour wait with no guarantees but they would try. My mother and I were seated immediately and by the window. Our waitress was lovely. She was engaging, fun, and witty who gave fabulous recommendations. I ordered the steak with the red wine jus and mustard garlic aioli and it was delicious! The French fries were a bit basic, but I kinda love basic fries over hand-cut fries. Dipping them into the aioli was a highlight! The wine selection here was fabulous. They had an extensive list with varietals I had not seen, not that I'm a wine connoisseur by any means. But I very much enjoyed what I drank, a glass of gamay noir. The view was great! There were times when the wind changed direction and the mist obscured the falls completely which I still appreciated for the sheer force of water. Other times it would calm enough to see them clearly. The tables with a view turned slower than ones without, so make a reservation in advance.

Very disappointing experience at Table Rock House Restaurant…read more We tried to make a reservation but were told everything was fully booked and that we would have to wait. While waiting, we requested a table by the window. The staff initially agreed, then explained that only a partial view of Niagara Falls would be available. We accepted. However, we were taken to a table with absolutely no view of the falls. When we pointed this out, the staff agreed to move us, but we had to wait another 20 minutes. Eventually, we were seated at a table with a partial view, but still not by the window. Unfortunately, the service was even worse. The waiting times between receiving water, placing our order, and getting each course were ridiculously long. Our water glasses and alcoholic drinks were empty, and our server never came back to check on us or offer refills. The food was average, nothing special or memorable. For a restaurant in such an incredible location, we expected much better service and organization. The beautiful location simply doesn't make up for such a disappointing dining experience.

I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!

My husband and I had only been in Canada a few hours and stopped here to eat on May 25, 2023. The Clifton Hills restaurant was not busy at all. There were empty tables everywhere but the young girl hostess walked us around all the empty tables and tried to sit us next to the bathrooms. Hmmm? I had heard of people doing racist things as such to blacks and other POC intentionally seating them next to bathrooms or deliberately in the back. I refused to sit there and she moved us to another table but the damage was already done. We left!!! Updated: Thanks Joel for responding to my review publicly so quickly . BTW, you sent me an email address that doesn't exist. . Hopefully you will get the email that I sent to kelseys@cliftonhill.com read more

We had a great experience at Kelsey's during a hot summer weekend after exploring the Clifton Hill area at the Niagara Falls. Despite being a party of eight, we were seated within a few minutes. Initially, we were given only two tables side-by-side together, which felt a bit cramped given the heat. However, the staff accommodated our request for an additional table after arranging a little, making us much more comfortable. The food was flavorful and served in good portions. Cold beverages were especially refreshing and appreciated in the summer heat. Our server, Elena, was attentive and responsive throughout the meal, providing excellent service. Overall, we found Kelsey's to offer good value and would gladly recommend it. read more

The place looked like a converted Goodyear tire with the owners retaining the glass doors so they can expand on to a patio in summer. Our orders were : - Classic Ruben sandwich with house salad - 2 lbs of naked wings with onion rings - Wings & Ribs combo My spouse loved the Ruben. It came out hot and fast. There was plenty of meat and sauerkraut. The rye bread held it all together. The house salad was good too but my wife struggled to finish her sandwich so the salad was boxed. The tables beside us also ordered the Ruben and the salad was left untouched. My Dad had the wings and ribs. My Dad generally does not have lunch but all that was left was a pile of bones (ribs/wings). He really liked the meal. Mine was the 2 lbs of wings. I had mine naked with the sauce on the side. I had sweet chilli and BBQ. These wings are the jumbos. So while you might kit get 10 per lbs in the end you are getting closer to 2 lbs of meat vs bones. I really like their onion rings. My only complaint was the portion. Clearly fries gets you the most for your dollar. My only regret was they had sticky toffee pudding on the menu and crème Brulé which I also wanted to try. Next time.
