The good thing about this place is its location and drinks...Maybe. Whatever you do, don't get the Thai Curry Shrimp or Alfredo. Both dishes were so watery they were pretty much impossible to eat. Don't fall for the nice decor or loud music at night. Also, don't eat here if you're in a rush. The wait is beyond long. read more

I went here twice while on vacation in the area. The first night I sat at the bar and they had a great beer selection, I also looked at the rest of the drink menus and the sangrias sounded superb! Unfortunately I didn't get to try any, but it's okay. The second time I went I got a bite to eat... I love burgers and they all sounded soooo good, I wish I could have tried them all. I had gotten the 'Park your peppercorn' burger, it was delicious!! My boyfriend got the 'Na-cho Average' burger and he said it was everything he could have wanted and more(if you like spicy, of course, with a layer of jalapeños between TWO burger patties) The ambiance was very relaxing-the string lights inside, they had live music all day & night and the outside windows were open! Thankfully it was beautiful weather to sit back and relax and enjoy the restaurant. The service was great as well. Very friendly and always had a smile on their faces! I wish I had a pace like this around home because I would go all the time ! I highly recommend coming here if you want to unwind. read more

I'm not one for restaurants in tourist locations since there's a very high chance that they'll be expensive but it was midnight when I first stopped by this place, and after walking up the hill (for the third time that night) slightly out of breath, I needed something to quench my thirst. I ended up having a basic strawberry margarita, which was more like a slushie, but it satisfied my taste buds. I was overly surprised at how friendly and attentive the bartenders & wait staff were. I definitely like the welcome-ness and vibe. They had open karaoke, it can be a little loud in the bar and close to the area where they perform, but they have spacious dining areas to accommodate. The second time coming here I ended up having a few drinks and ate right at the bar. I started out with a 'Two Handed Sangria', I chose the Somersby Raspberry Sangria which was refreshing, light, not tooo heavy, and, the fresh fruit was a nice touch. I ended up choosing the Feta Bruschetta Flatbread as an appetizer, which was off the charts amazing. It was packed with flavor, the balsamic glaze over top wasn't over powering, just the right touch. For dinner, I ended up having the Chipotle Shrimp Sirloin. I was concerned that there would be problems with how I like my steak cooked, I'm a very rare, seared on both sides, completely raw in the middle type of person.. and they got it spot on. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great steakhouse in the area. I ended my fantastic meal, with 'Go Nuts Donuts', deep fried and filled with Nutella - with a choice of either peanut butter or caramel sauce on the side. I chose caramel. They weren't too heavy on the filling, golden to perfection. I would go back just for those donuts. The third time coming here, I ended up sitting across from the bar in the booths with a few friends. They ended up asking to move us because the bartenders who deal with the section were 'busy', and we'd be waiting forever to get service. I ended up getting another 'Two Handed Sangria', this time the Rosè one. It was on the sweeter side, and overpowering, too much going on at once. I ended up just having dessert, Brownie Bites that were deep fried, which were OK, not worth the price you pay. I also ordered the PB&J Sundae, which was basically two huge brownies covered in ice-cream and whip cream (lots of whip cream!). Didn't have any peanut butter taste, and the jelly was about a tablespoon worth, won't be impulse doing that again. Overall, this just might be my new spot to hang out with friends.. Drinks are pretty cheap, and well made. read more

Stopped here for drinks to get our night started. Loved the live music in the covered-patio area. Our server was super attentive and my mojito was fantastic as were the fried pickles we munched on. read more

After a long day of walking and exploring on Tuesday, all our family wanted to do was to sit and eat! When we saw Kelsey's on Clifton Hill (on corner near Ripley's Believe it or Not), we decided to give it a try as there was live music playing and the establishment itself looked quite inviting. We requested a booth and were promptly seated at one. Our server Ted was extremely friendly, helpful and is definitely one of the reasons why Kelsey's gets a 5-star rating from us! My daughter ordered the the portobello burger which surprisingly was super good! My son got a pizza from the kids menu. It came with a drink and one of those push-up gelato tubes. He loved it all. My husband ordered the Big Moe burger and gobbled it all up! I had the Messy Fish and cleaned up my plate as well. Perhaps we were all so hungry that it made the food taste so much better than it really was, but overall the presentation of the food, the rate at which it was brought to our table, and the portion sizes met our expectations. We also ordered the flight of beer where you get 5 7oz draught beer choices. We had no idea what to pick for our 5, but Ted was knowledgeable enough to help us pick some after we told him what kind of beers we enjoyed. Seeing that the reviews aren't so good here on Yelp, and I've given it a 5-star rating... I think we were fortunate to have a good experience at this restaurant. I'm glad it was, too, because we had a wonderful day as a family exploring Niagara Falls. Having a good dining experience to top it off for dinner certainly was the icing on the cake! read more

This place has mediocre food and lots of bugs outside. My friend and I split a salad with chicken and goat cheese and beets which was pretty good but a little too much dressing. Then we got the cod tacos which were HORRIBLE. No flavor, super fried, so gross. Overall: wouldn't recommend it. read more

Very bad ribs cold like ice it is not worth it to pay that much for it I do not recommend my brother from Australia was very disappointed .

Located in the biggest tourist trap of the falls they lure you in with Edison bulbs and acoustic music to bleak food that not even the waitress can sell with a smile. Drinks were fine but nothing amazing. I had the grilled cheese with bacon which you should not waste your daily calories on. The kid had ribs which were the best looking entree we had...keep walking past this one folks. read more

This is a pretty nice bar with a big outdoor seating area and live music. It a little bit past the craziness of Clifton Hill so it's not too crowded either. read more

We give this place 3.5 stars. The atmosphere is definitely nice and it was not overcrowded. The servers were pleasant and tolerable of our high-energy toddler. Unfortunately the food and drinks are overpriced! We loved the whiskey sours and the $12 wine was delicious but again overpriced. My fajitas were $20 and definitely NOT worth it! My husband enjoyed his burger but it's hard to ruin a burger, right? All in all we liked the place because we've never seen it back home and we try to go places for the new experiences. read more

Kelsey's was really nice. The waiter was awesome. The were 16 in our group and he took everything in stride. The food was good too except my steak was a little over done, but not to the point of being burnt. About the only problem I had was the fact that the draft beer glasses are too big. The smallest is 20 ounces. read more

There was a long wait before we could get a table we ended up waiting 45-55 mins which was annoying because the kids were restless. Ordered the messy fish burger which wasn't good considering what they are charging. The other annoying thing was they brought the appetizer with the main course. The only things was nice was the nachos. read more

My husband and I went here as a spur of the moment lunch date and there was no wait at all. We got to sit on the patio and listen to the live music which was a nice touch. We got the Thai Curry Chicken bowl and the Gimme more cheese and bacon grilled cheese. We had to wait longer than expected because the waitress said they accidentally put shrimp in the curry bowl not chicken and had to redo it which was fine. Then I got my grilled cheese and it had nothing in it besides cheese when it had advertised to have 4 cheeses, mushrooms, bacon and onions. I was so confused! But the waitress happily took my order back which I was gracious for and felt bad but if I'm paying 17.99 I want something special that's not a basic grilled cheese read more

The wings were small for what they charged for them. The atmosphere was nice. A good band was playing. Overall ok.

So this place is located right in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls. The place itself is nice, has both indoor and covered outdoor seating options, as well as a nice sized bar with big screen flatscreen tv's for sports viewing. We we there on a Saturday night for dinner, and they had live music in the covered outdoor section we were seated in. The solo guy was playing 90's cover songs, so I was pretty happy. Service was very, very slow (even taking into consideration it was a holiday weekend). The food overall was very average. I had the chicken quesadilla and my wife had the chicken tacos. My wife's tacos were better than my quesadilla which didn't have much taste to it. Neither were particularly memorable. Kids enjoyed their mac and cheese with French fries. Overall slow service, and pretty mediocre food. read more

Came here in a group and was very much let down. Ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a friend ordered wings. Sauce on wings came drizzled on top rather than tossed with the chicken (which is superior imo). My sandwich was mediocre at best. I was expecting a run of the mill sandwich and was honestly shocked when it came. There was no sauce at all on the chicken; just some loose seasoning dusted on top. Anyone with even a modicum of culinary experience knows Nashville hot chicken is made with a sauce that is tossed onto the chicken. My sandwich chicken was also very dry and included a lot more cartilage than i expected. The fries were also soggy and had no crisp/texture at all. The patty melt was also a train wreck as thr toast was nowhere near a true 'texas toast'. It was regular white bread barely toasted and more like a regular deli sandwich than a true smashed and toasted burger. Went to the bathroom and watched 2 employees leave without washing their hands too. Like bro. At least it's canada where people are nice (ie the servers) by virtue? read more

Went here yesterday for a late dinner . I ordered Calamari & shrimp there was 2 shrimp on my plate maybe one seriously . :(And the calamari was over cooked . I enjoyed the live music , the singing and playing of the guitar sound amazing . Very clean Romantic place ! Customer service ?? Ehhh could be much better I don't know if it was because of the hours but we def didn't get someone coming to us asking if we were okay or if we needed refills(they didn't come see us at all only for the bill) but what ever . I would go back because of the amazing view and live music but service could be better. read more

Wow - where to begin. Horrible service. Empty restaurant and they claim they don't have any tables near each other to seat our party (we were willing to break into a table of 4 and 5). They continually sat other people while no one worked to set our tables. Coincidence that others being seated were Caucasian groups whereas our group is predominantly Asian? read more

My husband and I decided to stop here to have a light lunch after visiting the falls. The staff were friendly but our waitress wasn't very attentive and didn't know much (if anything) about the beer menu- we asked what was on seasonal draft and she looked at us like we had ten heads. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad and chicken tenders, but started to get a little hangry after 25 minutes of waiting in a pretty empty restaurant. The salad was good, chicken tenders good as well with a nice seasoning. Our main complaint- long wait for our drinks and food and lack of knowledge about what is on draft for seasonal pours. read more

We came here for dinner and I really did enjoy my time here. The waiter Dustin was so sweet and helpful. The food was pretty good. I ordered the bacon and cheddar burger with fries. However, the fries were so bland. I had to add salt and a lot of ketchup! The hot tea they had was very good which helped me with my cold. The bathroom was well maintained which was good. They had live music which helped with the cool vibe of the restaurant which I liked. I did like the restaurant, but they gotta fix their fries. read more

Mediocre food, extremely bad/slow service, and high prices. Well, the prices aren't out of the norm but for the quality of the food-too high. I think we were there for 2.5 hours! They were relatively busy which is understandable but our waitress seriously only came to our table 3x, take our order, bring out the food, and check time (which shockingly, was extremely fast). It is located in a great location (super close to Niagara Falls) and it has outdoor seating as well as live music but those were the only good parts. Highly recommend checking out another restaurant. read more

I dropped by while visiting Niagara Falls, and walked away disappointed. We were told they were using a "roadhouse" menu which was different than what was on Yelp. As an FYI, I think kids get a free dessert. The Good: The chicken in my salad was great; unfortunately the salad wasn't great. The Bad: Pretty much everything else fell in to this category. The kids noodles were not hot enough to melt the butter we requested; the pop was flat; and our salads were drenched in salad dressing. The Ugly: The service was slow - very slow. read more

Food was good and service was decent although it tailed off at the end when the waitress went incognito. Staff is friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The food isn't 5 star quality but serviceable. Their salads are fresh and burgers were nice sized as well as properly cooked. Prices were pretty reasonable. It's conveniently located near the Falls and around the rest of the restaurants, attractions and hotels. read more

one star for the live music and another for the outdoor seating, unfortunately that's all that's really going for this place. The service was pretty bad, took so long for the waitress to come around and also to bring out all the food and drinks- I think we waited for close to 30-45 minutes to get our food! And we just ordered chicken wings- were they getting fresh chickens or something? I'd say check out another restaurant unfortunately, the time you waste here just isn't worth it, if the food was delicious that'd be different but it wasn't that great either. read more

Nice local in a well centered spot. Service is fast and polite but food quality is deficient. The spinach dip was mostly cream cheese and some some spinach, presentation wasn't. Great either. Ordered Sonoma Salad, it was a bag of mixed greens with a bunch of croutons and some small pieces of tomatoes and nuts , few crumbles of cheese. The chicken was good but a really small portion considering the amount of greens. Kids meal were just as bad. Price was good and portions reasonable but tasted nothing like Alfredo. read more

Came here on a Monday night and experienced what I expected I would. The service was extremely slow and it started with the hostess bringing us to an outdoor table when we specifically asked for a cold area in the restaurant. (It was over 80 degrees f that night!) We waited over fifteen minutes for any type of acknowledgement and the food took forever to come. We ordered wings as an appetizer and they were not good at all. Super tiny with below average sauce and for the price, a total rip off! Do not get these! I also ordered the french onion soup which I loved and a vodka lemonade type drink which was a great size and tasted pretty average. My younger brother got a burger and said it was just alright- nothing to rave about. I'd personally skip this place and try something else unless you're really hungry and don't mind poor service and average food. read more

I'm giving this place one star bc they had a musician playing a few sets which is what drew us into the place. The guy singing and playing the guitar/drum/harmonica was awesome!! We had already eaten at Cabo Cantina so we just came in to have a few drinks. The margaritas were all sour mix, we ordered an appetizer to kill time, it was cold. We weren't really enjoying ourselves after the guy stopped playing but we decided to hang out and drink our drinks. The waitress came up to us and before I could say anything she handed us the check! She was kicking us out! It's not like we were the only people just getting drinks and we weren't taking up space for new customers. I was so offended! We're New Yorkers so we know rude and she was the rudest, very passive aggressive (Michelle). I didn't want to tip here after that but they tacked on the gratuity to a $35 bill! We should've gone to Yanks like we did the night before! Great service and food! We know better next time! read more

Wish this place existed in California! Get rid of Applebee's, Chili's and all those other dumps and bring on the real neighborhood bar and grill...Kelsey's! We sat on the patio area on a beautiful night and it was perfect. Nothing better than eating some dinner outside, sipping on a beer, listening to some surprisingly really good live music in the background, and showing off the deliciousness to everyone walking on the street! As for the food, I don't think you really can go wrong. The prices may be a bit high, but its worth it! We ordered the nachos, loaded potato skins, BBQ chicken flatbread, Buffalo wings, and fish and chips. And the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear each item: Fully-loaded Nachos: Mmm, mmm good Loaded Potato Skins: Once you start, you can't stop BBQ Chicken Flatbread: Could eat it all night Buffalo Wings: Bring on the heat! (AWESOME) Fish and Chips: Classic done right In addition, the service is awesome too! Everything we asked for, we received! Even came back after 2 hours because really had to use the washroom (Canada, eh) and the waitress remembered us and just smiled! So if you happen to be in Niagara or anywhere else in Canada, don't pass up on Kelsey's. read more

I observed some of the best service I have seen to date at this Kelsey's today. Our server went above and beyond - including bringing their ingredient binder and photos of the dressing bottle label to our table - in order to find something that my friend could eat (she has a number of food allergies). She genuinely tried to find something appropriate and checked on us just the right number of times. They lose a star for not having a real orance juice (it doesn't have to be organic fresh squeezed, just not from the 'gun') but we had a really nice time thanks to our conscientious server. read more

Mickey was amazing! Made our experience at Kelsey's so enjoyable. Not only was he a great server, he was also very knowledgeable about the food, drinks, and surrounding night life. We stopped in here around 10 PM to get a bite to eat and some drinks. There was a 5 minute wait despite there being tables that were clearly available. Eventually we were seated at a nice table overlooking the street. After ordering our appetizer and drinks, our waitress returned a few minutes later and informed us that they were out of both. To her credit, she did make recommendations for other choices. We enjoyed the spinach dip that we ultimately got and our drinks were very good. Overall, it was nothing spectacular. I would definitely try a full meal there, but this visit didn't permit it. The thing that impressed me the most was that they can process your payment at your table with a remote card reader. read more

Went in for a drink and the glass was dirty. The kitchen was closed so I can't say anything about the food but considering it felt like an Applebees without people, I'm going to assume that the food quality is the same, which I hate. The service was ok. You'd have to find limited paid street parking as I didn't find a parking lot for this establishment and on a busy weekend, I could see parking to be a pain to find. I also found the drinks to be a little bit on the pricer side for the quality. Parking: Limited paid street parking Price: $10+ per person Wait: None read more

Inside was big with bar seating for about 15-20people..also bathrooms were nice and clean :) Food: wayyyy over priced...bruschetta is $11 and wings were $12 for 8 small baby sized wings...the only decent part was I got to order a small ceasar salad for $5 which was a pretty decent sized for that much...other than that I wouldn't eat ere again. read more
