The inattentive service and lack of welcoming hospitality soured what could've been a decent breakfast. Most likely will not return due to poor treatment. Food: I did really enjoy the linguica sausage but the rest of the plate was pretty plain when considering the price point. Service: Past the friendly greeting when we came in, we felt like unvalued patrons. There wasn't a wait to get seated but the waitress still took over 5 minutes to come to our table. When they did it felt like they were trying to use as little time as possible with us. We weren't offered waters or refills on our coffee and the waitress turned her back on us as I was still talking to her asking for the check. This is far from the hospitality I was hoping for from such a long standing restaurant. What hurt the most was seeing friendly prompt service all around us for other patrons. Atmosphere: The restaurant interior was clean and suited the old diner vibe, but the exterior was seen better days. Unfortunately, it could only have been made charming by friendly staff and warm service which we did not receive.

#7 - Special - three eggs, two bacon, two sausages, home fries, and toast

We decided to try out Kelly's Diner this weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was extremely kind and attentive, the vibes were amazing, and the food was DELECTABLE! My eggs were cooked to a perfect over medium and their home fries are so so so unique! We also got chocolate chip pancakes (not pictured), which were soft, buttery, pillowy goodness. We will definitely be returning for another weekend breakfast after our experience today!

This is everything a diner should be! Retro vibes and solid breakfast food (the pancakes are so good)!

The steak bomb omelette is definitely DA BOMB! Delicious. I had mine with egg whites. Outstanding!

We are talking about full blown diner with stools at the counter, booths and even individual wall-o-matic juke boxes at each booth.... Right out of the 50's. I had to have the four egg omelette. That was the first time I have seen it before. It caught my eye. I am sure it was built into the price. I passed on the coffee at 4.29. Even if it was bottomless. They gave me a pile of hash brown which filled up the plate. There was parking in front with a T stop right across the street. They get my vote. Tops the diners I have been to.

Awesome classic diner experience! Glad to see this place busy on a Monday morning. The pancakes are fluffy, the service quick, and super cozy diner booths!

I am a sucker for classic diner food, and Kelly's Diner is exactly that. If you're looking for nostalgia with a side of greasy goodness, this retro diner is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by teal upholstery, a flamingo pink service bar, and classic mini jukeboxes at every booth. It's like stepping right into the 50s! Service was fast! My jacket wasn't even off when the hot coffee arrived at our table. Water was brought to us without asking and the food arrived shortly after ordering. The menu is packed with all the nostalgic diner staples--pancakes, eggs, burgers, ice cream frappes, and of course, bottomless hot coffee. I had the classic French Toast, and my partner ordered Chocolate Chip Pancakes. We both enjoyed multiple refills of their bottomless coffee. I had to remove a star because the French Toast was not my favorite. It was too eggy, and not enough cinnamon flavor that makes it a sweet breakfast treat. The few bites of my partner's pancakes I did enjoy, and would order those again. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly woman who made us feel like family. Her bright, loud (classic Boston auntie) demeanor really added to the diner experience.

The food is always appetizing- Service is A relaxed approach with a personalized touch- Once you are in the diner you forget where you are while you enjoy the whole thing- so good in so many ways-

    Menu

Menu prices are off by about $2 but you do get a large portion of fries and a nice big homemade half sour pickle (not dill). This is a local business and not tech savvy so just be prepared for that. It's a cash only business. I got the BLT and it was good But it was $5.69 online on the menu from their website And then in person on the menu for $10.99 with fries and pickle But the final price on the bill was $12.99. It is stated on the menu that all prices are subject to change. Staff are nice ladies who run a tight ship. I came for lunch on Monday and it was easy to be seated. Calm crowd and classic diner feel. Very retro frozen in time from an actual point in history -- not like donut villa diner where they retro-fit an existing space into a diner in a way that uses cheap wall decorations. Kelly's is authentically old and they have cool non-functional mini juke boxes on each table booth

I really wanted to like this place but we just had a really bad experience. We waited in the cold just to get inside to be forgotten about. We ordered almost immediately and it took an hour for the waiter to realize we never got our food/ she gave it to someone else.

Everything one would want in a train car diner. Pretty good prices (our brunch was $39) super nice, friendly servers :)

TL;DR - if you are from Bombay, are craving that specific Bombay Chinese food taste, and Vada Pav - look no further - this is the place. Most of their staff are fellow Mumbaikars - shout out to Shiv, Dhvani, and Ronak! Shiv, our server was friendly and our hungry table got straight to ordering which included a flavor packed and well priced Lychee Martini ($10), Masala Chai Hot Toddy ($12), and Spicy 'Lil Rita ($12) - being the best one! Food included some well name dishes like Kashmiri Deviled Eggs ($12), Vada Pav ($12), Rasam Risotto ($15), Butter Chicken Pot Pie ($20), Chicken Steak with Makhani Sauce ($18), Street Fried Noodles ($16), and Penne Pasta with Chicken for the kiddos. Food just hits the right spots and is very flavorful, extremely well seasoned, and perfectly spiced. Interiors and their bar is very inviting. Noise levels during our stay were on the lower end. Service was excellent. What was refreshing was they didn't charge us any automatic gratuity even for our large group - but absolutely deserved a generous one! Highly highly recommend if flavorful food is your thing!

That said... Amazing meal!!! We came for brunch and had some lovely cocktails to start. For food, we started with the fried Utsunomiya gyoza, which were perfectly crunchy and so so flavorful. My date had the loco moco, which is basically a brisket burger patty over rice with a delicious gravy. He added bacon, which was great, but next time I'd try it with spam. I had the cold sesame noodles and the Sichuan wontons, which were both amazing with just a bit of spice. Our server (Isaiah, I think?) was very friendly, and the owner also dropped by to say hi. Food also came out super fast. We'll 100% come back to try the full dinner menu!!!

We had a reservation so we were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant (and the brewery) were buzzing on a Friday night. We ordered the roasted broccoli salad, the fried shrimp, and the mabo dofu along with a side of rice. The broccoli salad wasn't a favorite because it turned out to be a cold dish (not even room temp, like just out of the refrigerator cold) and eating big chunks of cold broccoli didn't feel appetizing. The mabo dofu was excellent with a hint of spice. It honestly should come with rice because I don't think you can eat it as is. With our shrimp dish, it turned out that our order didn't go through their system and they had limited dishes and the last one went to another table that arrived after us. Our server was super apologetic and very nice about it. So we ended up ordering the chicken karaage which was good (but our heat was set on the shrimp lol). Our server, by way of an apology, also got us the fried veggie gyoza which turned out to be the dish of the night for us. So crispy, so tasty! To round out our meal we also ordered a couple of cocktails and then butter mochi for dessert and they were lovely too. Overall, a great meal, great service all around.
