Just arrived NY last winter, my brother in law immediately took my wife and me for a late supper. This place is located in Flushing where there is a lot of Asian restaurants. I knew I am in a good place because he knows all the hood place to eat around here. I didn't even bother to read thru the menus because he knew what to order. We had all different kind of dishes, some fried, some warm and even some cold dishes. My favorites were the food cooked on a stick. But I also love their fried chicken wings. Some food might sound weird to non-Asian folks, for example, pig bloods. But they can be delicious if it's cooked properly. The place is got good vibes for late night supper so I felt right right at home.

We've been here few times and food quality is pretty good. Bbq skewers has good flavors and not crazy spicy. Kids love their egg fried rice and veggies. The food is in good size compare to many restaurants with reasonable price. If you don't want to go in to the center of flushing to eat good skewers, this may be a good place to try. Kids also like the Japanese figurine decor here which brings them good memories of Japan.

ABSOULTE go-to for a late-night snack or meal. Love coming here since they open past 12! My number 1 place to get skewers to be honest. Theyve always been consistent with the meat quality, size, and seasoning. The beef noodle soup also solid choice and affordable. They give a free pot of tea and I love that!!!!! One thing that may be a little difficult is that most of the workers speak mainly Chinese so may be easier to go with a Chinese speaker/friend but I've never had a problem with them just ordering in English! Had spicy beef noodle soup and skewers - beef, chicken, squid, Taiwanese sausage, tofu.

I wouldn't come here to dine again. The restaurant was renovated during covid. Looks more modern but the food tastes worse. -The 口水鸡 chicken appetizer is really dry. -水煮酸菜鱼片 pickled fish is not flavorful and lacks the authentic flavor. -泡椒田鸡 pickled frog is super dry. Costs $49.95 which is double the price compared to the better tasting dish at Szechuan Mountain House. The chef didn't splash hot oil over the peppercorn and peppers. Hence, the flavor lucks the depth. -my once favorite 冰饭 tastes different. less ice and too sweet. This place has so much more potential but not the chef.

Revisited again late night around 12:00 AM. We ordered a bit late but the food came out decent. Sweet and sour fish as well as the cabbage were both really good. I did have to mention the tomato and egg didn't taste that great. Alittle bit on the bland side but it's how the recipe is or I'm just not use to it. Other than that service was quick. Ambiance is chill. 4.3/5.0 star experience Tip: try different items

The food was amazing! Big portions for a great price. the fried pork chop was veryyy well seasoned. egg fried rice came with so much egg! seasoned well too. the milk teas were yummy & the taro was super flavorful. will be back again for sure.

The BEST place to get affordable and delicious skewers in Flushing. They also have a full menu (jellyfish is my favvvv). I like their button system for service, water refills, check, etc.

We were looking for healthy eats at midnight. Found this One Piece "Ke Zhang" (cool name, what does it mean ). Modern, clean décor; excellent hot tea, quality ingredients, generous portions (over-rice dishes), attentive wait-staff, and an overall pleasant dining experience. Appetizer OKRA was fresh and tender. B. B. Q. {okra, lamb, Taiwanese sausage} spicy OKRA only 2 pieces, but tender and full of flavor. At 75-cent-a-piece, it's scumptuous. LAMB was chunky and tender. TAIWANESE SAUSAGE was good. SPICY FISH FILLET OVER RICE (w/ salad & half a tea-egg) Onion, leeks, hot pepper, sliced garlic, black bean sauce, spicy oil, and (un-breaded) fish fillets. I will keep coming back for this dish! It has earned "My Best 'Spicy Fish Fillet' dish in Queens" merit! SPICY PEPPER W/BEEF (w/ salad & half a tea-egg) Tender beef and spicy pepper with the right amount of , another delicious dish.

3 stars...food was good for this cafe like dining space. Service is not so good if you're there during the dinner rush. Frankly I was here for the menu and for the fun "One Piece" themed décor. I assume the owner is a huge fan. Came here on a Sunday night around 6:30pm (dang, forgot to check in on Yelp as my cell battery was low) for dinner with the family and it was only half full. By the time I ordered and got my first appetizer, it was packed! There was a wait for seating and for take out by the time it hit 7pm. The menu is a bit all over the place but I didn't mind that, especially if everyone in your party wants something different. Between the BBQ skewers, congee, instant noodles, seafood plates, bento boxes, Pad Thai, lo mein, fried rice, and even French fries - lots of variety to choose from! I had to flip back and forth a few times to decide. To maximize this experience, I tried to order across categories. The bento box is the best value. The French Fries were crisp and meant for sharing. Skewers were very inexpensive and very good value for the portion. Pass on the Pad Thai, and pass on the instant noodles. Nothing to write about those. Anyway, had to try it once. I would return but with the right eating crowd.

Absolutely the BEST in Flushing! Friends and I had a great time. Servers were attentive and friendly. Great variety of Chinese food, and were all delicious! And even better, they are a ONE PIECE theme restaurant! Definitely recommend!

My friend raves about their ice rice dessert which seemed very different and unique. From pictures, I thought it was ABC but it isn't. It's more of a "Asian cereal" where instead of cereal and milk, it's rice and milk. It sounds weird but it doesnt taste as bad as it sounds! The ice rice comes with milk tea with sticky rice and raisins, peanuts and some assortments of fruits. The rice is in the bottom so you need to mix it well. It is a pretty big portIon so I'm sure you can share with a friend. They do have other food here and other Asian desserts and tea. I think it'd taste better if it was a scorching hot day and I needed something to cool me down

Very glad this place reopened after renovation. I don't understand why people are skimpy on their rating but this place always leaves me happy and satisfied. Price is still very reasonable (slight increase in price after renovation but still underpriced than most places). Still not up to par with food and labor cost. Relatively cheap. Food: I tend to always get spicier items and they are delish! Try their salt and pepper chicken and salt and peeper shrimp. Also, all things cumin. Not too overwhelming with flavor, just about right.

Would you like to be transported back in time to ancient china?…read more How about just testing your spice tolerance to see if you can hang with the best? Well, if you want all of that, PLUS hot pot, look no further - this is the place to be! There is a reason this is one of the highest recommend spots to visit when you're in Flushing. First off, entrance? SO UNASSUMING. It's like, the tiniest door, with no real obvious signage. Once you go through, you basically feel like you're in one of the ancient alleys of China - decor is 1000% great. We had a larger party of 7, and they were luckily able to accommodate us since we lined up a few minutes before opening on a Friday. We actually got IMO the best seats in the house - towards the back, elevated up on some steps, a mini pavilion essentially. But enough about the decor.. how was the food? Well.. GREAT! And honestly, for NYC prices, not too expensive (but a bit pricy for flushing I guess). The quality was top notch (highly recommend trying the mala quail eggs) and the spice of the broth was GREAT! We went with medium since our server (amazing btw, thank you Sean / Shawn / Shaun??) said that he can't even go near hot, it burns his eyes. Medium was just perfect - felt great eating it with some sweats, regretted it the day after, which means I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Meats were good quality, veggies were yummy. I wish the shrimp paste had more in terms of quantity, we barely had seven bites for each of us, but it was really good. Also, pro tip, probably don't order Napa Cabbage, a lot of their other dishes will sit on top of a whole leaf, so you'll probably get enough from that unless you want to consume half a head. Sauce bar is $2 a person - which might be shocking for some to know they charge it, but it's pretty much the norm at a higher end hot pot place in big cities. At least they don't charge $6-$8 like some places and only throw in a few apps/desserts to try to justify it. Overall, really loved this place, and would definitely go back.

I've never had them like that before anywhere, so it's definitely a chefs special. They were made crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside. Highly recommend. All the other dishes were also fantastic. Portions are also great, we ended up taking lots home. They gave us free dessert jellies which is also a classic Sichuan dessert; they also had a deal where you get free drinks if you order a certain amount of food, so we got two free drinks. I would have given a five star if not for the super long wait. Granted we did go for Christmas Day dinner. We saw them having to turn away lots of customers. They are super popular. Main issue is there isn't a number system, so getting a table felt a bit random; we considered ourselves lucky. Our servers were very friendly and nice. They told us it would be a bit of a wait, but this was the longest I've ever waited for food: 45 min before the first dish was served. We ordered 5 dishes with rice (forgot to take pictures of two of them). I wasn't told one of the dishes I ordered wasn't available until 30 min after I placed my order. But when the food did come, they all can't together so we didn't have to keep waiting. The servers were also attentive after despite how busy and clearly overwhelmed they were, which was really nice. In conclusion, great food with good portions for spice lovers. Very nice servers and try not to go on Christmas Day since it can get really busy.

I am a huge fan of the Cumin Flounder, which is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It is the best flounder that I have ever tasted in my life! The Beef Tenderloin in Brown Sauce is to die for. I loved the Minted Salted Egg Yolk and Sliced Pumpkin so much that I will come back here to order it for Thanksgiving dinner. If you can handle the spice, go for the Fried Squid Head with Spicy Peppery Sauce. It was the table favorite because most of us prefer the head or tentacles of calamari to the rings. The Molten Sugar-Crusted Yams and Dates were phenomenal. It came with a bowl of water on the side to remove stickiness from the serving spoon between helpings. We also feasted on the Sautéed Shredded Beef with Spicy Pepper, Cumin Lamb, Sliced Potatoes with Truffles and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The pickled salad certainly tickled my fancy. TIP: Eat everything with chopsticks for portion control. Thank you Andie for putting this all together, and the birthday cake that Mike bought for you was a decadent surprise because it was so chocolatey and moist.
