    Sesame chicken
    Kevin M.

Just ordered sesame chicken and it came like it doused in hot sauce and the chicken was fried twice. Oily and red. It doesn't even come with any broccoli. I used to order here back then and the food was good but I don't know what happened. They even got my order wrong when I asked for pork fried rice, they gave me white rice. SMH

i personally their sesame chicken/general tso's is really good. I've been getting it like once a week and it has yet to disappoint.

Half of what's suppose to be a jumbo shrimp. But you do get the legs still attached lmao

The only good thing about this place is that there's a nice seating dining area lol that's it. Food is average, customer service? Nope none. So I call for delivery and ordered something coming out to $7.65. Lady said minimum is $8, they can't deliver because it's not $8. are you kidding me ? So you about to lose a customer over 35 cents huh? I'm not a first time customer too I'm a returning customer many times now. So I said ok I'll pay the driver $8 it's not a problem. Lady was like "ok whatever you just pay $8" these were her actual words! What kind of manner and service is this? I hope owner sees and looks thru these review Ordered again from here for delivery today. So many things wrong with this place idk how they're still in business. Ordered shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce and hot sour soup. The sauce in the shrimp and broccoli was super watery. No garlic sauce taste at all. I did see some peppers but absolutely bland. The hot and sour soup was a mix of plain old egg drop soup and they threw in some spice and vinegar and some veggies. Damn. And the shrimps aren't cleaned properly. The legs of the shrimp are still attached and they are peeled very carelessly. These are supposed to be jumbo shrimps and seem like half of the shrimp was peeled away. And it gets worse. When the guy comes he looked at the bill I had in my hand before telling me the price. And then he looked at the receipt and hesitated a bit. Probably wanted to get more tips. When I open the bag no napkins at all. Absolutely terrible.

Good potion and prices. Chinese and Spanish food and actually tastes pretty good. Doesn't look too appealing on the outside or the interior really but it's a nice place. I really like the pork chops it tastes nice and not hard or dry at all like some places have it. The plantain is nice, not too authentic but tastes good and not too sweet or oily. Good for takeouts or lunch too. Decent service and speaks both English and Mandarin. Would go back from time to time!

Even though there wasn't enough room they were a bit brusque and rude imho bringing things and moving things on our table. Even when heading to the restroom the rest of the wait staff were not pleasant and didn't move while standing in the narrow walkway to the restrooms. The place wasn't cheap but we were able to use my son's student id to get a 10% discount at least.

Luckily, there was only a short wait for our party of two at around 12pm...but I suspect the wait can be much longer later in the afternoon or during peak dinner times. Once your number is called, you go up some stairs to the eating/tabled area. There are tables and chairs for 2, 4 and more guests throughout the large space. The pace of the restaurant is very fast...as soon as you are seated, you are given tea and your waiter comes over right away to take any order you are ready to give. Its helpful to ask for a menu while you are waiting for a table so you know what to order when asked. We had some soup dumplings as well as a (large) soup. Everything was very good and out in about 15 minutes...very fast. The soup dumplings were great...but as expected are filled with piping hot broth so be careful when eating. They have some other appetizers and dishes available. There are also some drink options including cold teas, soft drinks and beer. Overall a great experience...despite visiting on a busy Saturday, we were in and out in about 40-45 minutes. Street parking can be tough in the area but there are a few garages around...one of the more reasonable options is the garage at the Skyview shops which currently charge about $6 for up to three (3) hours and is a short 5 minute walk away.

The restaurant had a very unique interior that felt very authentic. We ordered the dual flavor pot with mild and tomato broths. They were both delicious, but we especially liked the tomato broth. Be aware that even the mild broth is relatively spicy. We also decided to pay an additional $1.95 each for the self serve dipping sauce station, which we definitely found to be worth it. We ordered napa cabbage, wide potato noodles, potato slices, enoki mushrooms, milky beef, streaky pork, black fish, and beef tongue. We found this to be a lot of food for two people, and the final bill came out to around $110. Our favorite meats were definitely the beef tongue and the milky beef. The milky beef was so tender, and we liked the slight chew of the beef tongue. The black fish and the streaky pork did not stand out as much, and I would want to try something new next time. This was definitely one of the best hot pot experiences I've ever had. You can tell that they put a lot of care into laying out the ingredients, and the staff are very attentive at adding hot water to the broth regularly. Definitely worth the wait, price point, and commute from the city!

It's very spicy with the signature Sichuan peppercorn, so if you're not into numb spicy, considered yourselves warned. We specifically loved the pig trotters. I've never had them like that before anywhere, so it's definitely a chefs special. They were made crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside. Highly recommend. All the other dishes were also fantastic. Portions are also great, we ended up taking lots home. They gave us free dessert jellies which is also a classic Sichuan dessert; they also had a deal where you get free drinks if you order a certain amount of food, so we got two free drinks. I would have given a five star if not for the super long wait. Granted we did go for Christmas Day dinner. We saw them having to turn away lots of customers. They are super popular. Main issue is there isn't a number system, so getting a table felt a bit random; we considered ourselves lucky. Our servers were very friendly and nice. They told us it would be a bit of a wait, but this was the longest I've ever waited for food: 45 min before the first dish was served. We ordered 5 dishes with rice (forgot to take pictures of two of them). I wasn't told one of the dishes I ordered wasn't available until 30 min after I placed my order. But when the food did come, they all can't together so we didn't have to keep waiting. The servers were also attentive after despite how busy and clearly overwhelmed they were, which was really nice. In conclusion, great food with good portions for spice lovers. Very nice servers and try not to go on Christmas Day since it can get really busy.

I am a huge fan of the Cumin Flounder, which is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It is the best flounder that I have ever tasted in my life! The Beef Tenderloin in Brown Sauce is to die for. I loved the Minted Salted Egg Yolk and Sliced Pumpkin so much that I will come back here to order it for Thanksgiving dinner. If you can handle the spice, go for the Fried Squid Head with Spicy Peppery Sauce. It was the table favorite because most of us prefer the head or tentacles of calamari to the rings. The Molten Sugar-Crusted Yams and Dates were phenomenal. It came with a bowl of water on the side to remove stickiness from the serving spoon between helpings. We also feasted on the Sautéed Shredded Beef with Spicy Pepper, Cumin Lamb, Sliced Potatoes with Truffles and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The pickled salad certainly tickled my fancy. TIP: Eat everything with chopsticks for portion control. Thank you Andie for putting this all together, and the birthday cake that Mike bought for you was a decadent surprise because it was so chocolatey and moist.
