PARKING: It's right next to Avalon Bagels so it does get busy if you're trying to park close, but the parking plaza is so big you'll always find parking. AMBIANCE: They have 9 spa chairs and 5 acrylic nail stations. PRICE: $25 basic pedicure $35 - $65 for pedicures with more enhancements SERVICE: They greeted me as soon as I walked thru the door, they weren't busy so they were able to see me right away. They give you a book with nail colors to choose from. She was gentle with all the cuticle and nail trim and firm for the massage. She did a great job on my pedicure. Had another great visit to KC Nails today. They always seem to handle my procrastination. I called at 2 to come in at 3, and they took me right away , and there was a steady, busy flow of customers at that time. My basic mani pedi was done quickly and efficiently. I absolutely love this nail salon! I always call the day of and they see me right away! They work very efficiently and they always do such a great job! Every employee in this salon is absolutely sweet and hard working. The place is always clean and the vibe is always great! They are also very reasonably priced! Today they were playing some 90's throwback music videos which I personally loved! I don't believe that they were "inappropriate" and if anyone feels offended about those music videos, then clearly that's an internal issue within that person. There were no curse words as well so I don't see an issue with them having these songs in the background. Other salons play boring instrumentals which put me to sleep so I would much rather hear 90's music and have a great time while I'm getting pampered! Highlights: I was able to get a last minute appointment. The total was $15 and and was done under an hour (I was in a hurry). Service: I got a gel polish change done by Lily. Despite the deadline, she did a great job. I felt like she really took her time with each nail rather than plopping on the gel and calling it a day. I researched where to go for a mani pedi for over an hour before coming to KC Nails and I'm glad I did. I got Yvonne for my mani and Angela for my pedi and both were so nice and talkative. I personally love to talk too and have a better experience when my nail technicians are genuinely interested in holding a conversation with me. That beings said, I NEVER get my nails done and I am a nail biter/picker. They both noticed, but helped guide to to the best procedure for my nails. I'm happy with the outcome, I typically choose blues, but they didn't have the perfect match for my toes with the glittery galaxy look I wanted, so I went with a shimmery burgundy and I love the look! I think the people here are very nice, but I wouldn't recommend this nail salon. First of all, the range is a bit limited, especially if you like neutral colors (either bright white or pink nude). Secondly, they don't really do a good job with cuticles or shaping the nail. My cuticles are cut up and very sensitive after this appointment, which usually never happens to me. Lastly, the salon itself didn't appear too clean (my nail artist used what seemed to be a used towel on my hands). Overall, I hate to leave this review because my nail artist was sweet and patient with me, but I wouldn't recommend coming here and spending any money. I needed a last minute resort since I was out of the area for a photo shoot, but I am pretty disappointed. **Unfortunately, my gel manicure started chipping 8 hours later on the same day. Edit: I called the shop and spoke to Lou (who did my nails) and he was extremely rude on the phone, saying I didn't know what I wanted when I walked in (although I showed 4 different pictures of funny bunny and chrome), and that I should've said something to him at the shop. He said in order to get my money back I need to drive 1 hour to the shop and get my nails off because "we don't give anything for free baby." I would have been very okay with decent French tips although that's not what I wanted, but when there are chips, hairs, bubbles under the gel-that's what I'm not okay with. At the end of the day, this is a business and you get what you pay for. The waste of $40. Don't even waste your time coming in here, please. read more

Highly Highly recommend KC Nails! This was my third time here, first time getting acrylics. I came with my mom around 5:30 and we both got a pedicure and a full set and fill. Lou did a great good! Very fast and precise. I showed him a reference photo and replicated it perfectly! John worked on my mom's nails and did the beautiful dragon! Each black line was hand done and they were both very kind! Keep in mind they were very busy and got us out by 7:10. (They closed at 7pm) Will definitely come back and I will recommend my friends and family. They are also understaffed and are working very hard. I came in on Friday for acrylic removal. The lady who did my nails was not friendly and made me wait a long time to get it done while she talked to other employees. It was not busy, there were only 4 customers in the salon. She also did not know how to do acrylic removal at all. Over the weekend, there are layers of acrylic that are snapping off my nail that you can see in the photo I added. I wish I noticed while I was there that it was an incomplete job and not done well. She did a different method of removal that I've never seen before and it didn't work and was also painful. I do not want to go back to fix it because I do not trust them to do it well. I've been here twice now to give this place a fair shot since my friend raves about this place. First time, I thought it was a fluke. When my gel nails started lifting the second time within a WEEK, I decided to write this place off. What's strange is that my friend's nails are perfectly fine. But then again, she had complained while at the nail salon and had her remove ALL her gel nails and had someone reapply all of them. Yep, she is that girl. (Haha, love you S). Anyway. It's as if we went to two different nail salons. Then I thought maybe they're just my nails but nope. When to my usual spot (NK nails in Cypress) and my gel nails are PERFECTLY intact. I will upload photos to show the difference. The only reason I give this place two stars is that the ladies are very sweet but your kindness does not make up for your incompetency. Sorry. Will not be returning. And they charge for removing gel nails! Even if you got the gel nails done here AND you're getting another set of gel nails! $3?! So lame. I do want to point out the positives. I love that you can use the massage chair for your manicure! Most nail salons have you sit in a regular chair for a manicure as the massage chairs are reserved for the pedicures.
