Been going here for the past 15 years everyone there is super friendly and their service is amazing.
Pretty nails ready for Lunar New Year. Also Valentine's day is coming so I highly recommend all you girls should try this color. You will beautifully on that day.
I scheduled a full acrylic set today with Jenny ! (i am 90% sure that was her name) From the moment I walked in, she was so nice and friendly! I was able to make an appointment 2 hours before going in and the entire time she was so polite and really made sure I was happy with my nails! I ended up choosing to do gel too, and overall it only cost $40 which in my book is a steal!! (i also had to remove my old acrylics so that was an added charge). I would definitely recommend this place! super friendly and just a great artist too!! thanks jenny !
This nail salon is kinda what I had expected. I actually went twice but I didn't get the greatest service. I first went to get them done because I had a dance and I was like it's cheap and like you literally drive a block more and it's triple the price. So I was actually really excited to go since the price was pretty cheap and I thought since it was just a simple job (to get gel) and nothing could really get messed up. So I went and they had a lot of selections of gel colors which I loved and I thought that was perfect since I was been to cheap nail salons before and they didn't have quite a variety. Secondly, when they finally out to cutting my nails I actually told them to cut my nails since I really do not like them long. Nick then said of I'll file I'll file and I'm like okay sounds good you know. As he filed my nails he did not file the side of my nail at first I was like okay it's a little longer on the edge of the nail. Also, as I said before I was going for a gel manicure because normally for me even when I go to a cheap salon they last a month. So after I came out with my nails done I thought they were adorable and it was a simple job. I paid around 15$ not including tip and I thought it was a solid deal but little did I know it barely lasted a week and the more I think about it the more I get so disappointed in why I even got my nails done there. First of all, they really do a sloppy job. I seriously don't feel bad for saying it because this even happened to my friend that they get the gel onto your cuticles and they do not even cut the skin by the side/ end of the nail. As my nails grew over the week it got so uncomfortable because the gel was on my cuticles and nail and it ended up COMING OFF! PEALING OFF! I was honestly so surprised and confused why this was happening. I finally figured it out and it's the poor execution. They really just want there money and to get you out. It's sad honestly is because you go to get pampered and it ends up lasting 1/3 of the amount of time I would usually get out of them and I think the place is even a few dollars cheaper. Anyways that was pretty much my first time there. My second time that I went was horrific. I do not think I could ever go back to this place because of this . I got this lady who was absolutely terrified of what I was asking for it was just a small heart on the bottom of the nail. Mind me I don't have acrylics just short nails so I thought it shouldn't be hard since most nail techs know what to do. So I first ask for her to cut my nails and she did actually and while she was trying to file them aaa they weren't even filed evenly. They look horrible and me feeling bad I didn't want to complete tell her what to do since many people get annoyed so I let her do her thing. I noticed she was very nervous and didn't seem like she could do her job in a way. You know how when you file you have to apply some kind of pressure to actually file she didn't at all. And it was completely uneven. Also as she did the heart it seemed like she didn't have the right supplies to even do the heart. I mean I am not purposely throwing shade towards them this was just my experience. I think it's a perfect Salon if you just want your nails painted and you can clean up your nails your self. I also think they are pretty good for just no design regular nails. They also do charge an exceeding amount because of the design like I almost just walked out like if anything they should charge less because they know they did a bad job. Furthermore, when I called to asked how much a design was they said 3 dollars and they charged me 7$. I will attach the photos and seriously do not risk going here if you want a design or something that isn't a careless job. Because you'll get very disappointed.
Great hidden gem. Been going here for over 8 years. Nick is great and is always willing to try new trends and designs with me.
if i could give it a 0 i would. the customer service was great they were very nice & welcoming & this salon is right by my house so it was convenient. but i went & got acrylics & they felt like they weren't glued on right. apart from that the acrylic was all over my fingers & under my nails. so i was delicate thinking they would pop off but to my surprise 4 days later 6/10 nails had broke off. in half. & it was so painful. i went to get my nails done for valentine's day on february 9 & by valentines morning so many broke off i got them all removed. i'm so upset !
Tip Nail s in Anaheim oat 5051 E. Orangethorpe just did a great job on my granddaughter's nails. She went to another play yesterday and they did a messy job so we came here as a last minute decision and her nails are fabulous and just in time for Homecoming! They also give a high school student discount!!!! Glad we came.
Stay as far away as possible from this place! I almost had an anxiety attack they were SO unsanitary and not to mention RUDE! I came here on a Sunday afternoon as a walk-in because my normal nail place was closed and my gel manicure was peeling. I asked "Nick" for gel. He gave me a hard time about not having an appointment and "squeezing me in" but whatever, if you're so busy, turn me away. It was only him and one other lady working. He dunks my hands in a bowl of hot water, which turned out to be hot acetone, which made my eczema ridden hands sting. I tried pulling my hands out a bit but he pushed them back in and I told him to back off. Thanks a lot, they're still super irritated and itchy ever since. He covered my hands in the bowl with a towel but the fumes were so awful and gave me a headache. I've always had my gel soaked off with cotton balls and foil just on the tips. Once they had been soaking for 15 minutes while he finished up with someone else (way too long), he scraped off my old gel WITH HIS THUMBNAIL. EWwWWWwww!!!! He hadn't even washed his hands from working on the other lady with her nasty talons. I also told him I did not want my nails filed down as I am trying to grown them out, but he basically told me I was an idiot for not filing them and that they're all going to break anyway. He ended up filing them into an uneven square shape (he didn't even ask what shape I wanted and they were rounded when I came in which I prefer) to which I and I finally pulled my hands away and told him NO MORE FILING. I was so ready to walk out of there but I'm not one for confrontation and prayed to the nail gods I didn't get a disease. Next, he starts buffing the sh*t out of the top of my nails (WHY?!) and then starts to paint them. I asked him if he was going to do my cuticles, and he goes "Oh you want gel MANICURE?! You didn't say that!" and continued scolding me and rolling his eyes. He had the lady come over and do the manicure part which was just whatever and the lotion was cheap and she kept squirting alcohol all over them. She used the clippers to push down my cuticles before clipping them rather than an orange stick. An old lady and her even older mom came in and asked for a pedicure. My nail lady left me and went over to get the pedicure started (BTW there are no spa chairs, just old school foot baths) - the lady's daughter told her "she has toe fungus so be careful" and she started touching the lady's fungus feet WITHOUT GLOVES. I also noticed she brought over the used buffer, cuticle clippers, and nail file she had just used on me to work on that lady (no sanitizing in between). The lady was like "Uh, you might want to use gloves." I was in full panic attack mode that she would try to come back to work on my nails, but luckily she didn't. Nick finished painting (an attempting to AGAIN file my nails) with two extremely thin coats of gel. The red gel color is practically translucent. I didn't even bother asking for a third coat because I just wanted to get the hell out of there. $25 for a crappy manicure, my nails are way shorter than when I came in, and I might have a disease. I am reporting this place to the Cosmetology Board today as well. It was so disgusting and run down - it didn't look like it had been mopped, wiped down (dust everywhere), or the mirrors cleaned in YEARS. I don't know why I even set foot in there, and how it's even possible they have 4/5 stars. STAY AWAY!!!

I always come here for a simple gel and they have the best prices recommend! Wait is short too and you can book the day of usually. Linda is awesome and friendly. read more

Great place and not expensive. I go religiously at least every 1-1.5 weeks for a pedicure and gel acrylic fill! Wouldn't go anywhere else and I'm super comfortable with the staff; it's not an awkward/stressful vibe!! Best to make an appointment read more

The ladies here are really nice and the place has a friendly atmosphere overall. In addition to that, the price is great! I came in for a regular french manicure, and ended up getting a gel french manicure (photo uploaded), which came out to be $23 + tip. (They use Gelish gel polish, which I heard is one of the better brands.) They do try to [subtly?] offer you other of their services (I asked for a manicure, and someone asked if I wanted a pedicure as well. And Kim did ask me if I wanted eyebrow waxing.) I declined both services (I didn't need it). It was nice that they weren't pushy nor did they make me uncomfortable. Kim did my nails, and she was really bubbly and friendly. She was very willing to answer questions (I asked her what acrylic white tips were because I never had them before, and they looked so good on other people!). She said I didn't need them, and that with my nails, gel nails would do the same thing. Yup, I had gel before and I loved it. How can I say no when she asked me if I wanted to upgrade? Lol. The only problem(-1 star) I had was: all the nails on my right hand came out perfect, but the nails on my left ring finger and my left middle finger wasn't smooth. The picture I uploaded is of my left hand (I needed the other hand to take the picture....), which you can probably see the imperfection. Overall, it is barely noticeable so to me it wasn't a big deal. I'm assuming because of the price, don't expect fancy lotioned hand massages (they really do just get to the point). The most I got was cuticle oil for moisturizer (good enough). But I didn't come for the massage, and my nails came out nice for a good price + my cuticles were not annihilated. Would definitely come back. :) I'm optimistic about this place. read more

It was my first time here and I was extremely satisfied. I've never been there before and my friend decided to take me, she is a regular. Right when I walked in I was greeted and Linda started on my nails. She was very nice and light handed. Before I even knew it she was done, it was the quickest anyone has ever finished my nails so of course I was a tad bit nervous. After I looked down all my nerves went away, they looked great. She was done in 45 minutes and I had no complaints. Not only were they fast but they were also cheap, I only paid $20 when normally I would of paid $30-$40. Another thing that stood out to me was I asked for gel and she told me that I didn't need it and to save my money, now that is unheard of in a nail salon. Normally they want you to get everything but not this place. All in all I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back! read more

I've never been so satisfied with how my nails look. Linda or Kim did such a fantastic job and quick as well. They have so many options to choose from and the pricing is super reasonable too. Linda and her husband did their best to accommodate me as a walk-in. There were appointments before and after mine so they were so kind enough to do my nails. Would give them 10 stars. Though there was a little something that bothered me but not very noticeable is that my pinky nail length is not the same length so make sure you ask them to adjust it! I asked her to adjustment thumb and she was willing to but didn't notice my pinky until I was driving home: Anyways give them a try and to be sure they will accommodate you make an appointment! read more

I recommend Mimi! she did almond shaped full set of acrylics on me today and I love them! I posted a picture on here as well so you can see her work ((I'm holding a Chanel bottle.)) I also had an amazing pedicure and sadly can't remember my girls name. Every time I come here I am greeted with hellos and they are all great at what they do. read more

Needed to get my nails done before my trip & I was very limited on the time I had. The ladies were friendly and welcomed me right in. Within 30 minutes I had my nails done and they were inexpensive. I got a gel manicure for $16. read more

I've been going to Tip Nails for YEARS (at least 10) and I'm always super pleased with their work. I've done all shapes and lengths and they always NAIL it! They work in a timely manner, always quality work and my nails look great for so long! My life's schedule is hectic so it's hard to plan and get myself in there but they are always willing to make it to where they can fit me in whenever I pop in unexpectedly. I got short gel nails for the first time and they came out soo cute! Thank you Nick, Linda and Kim!! read more

How much are the pedicures?
On their window, its posted as Mani, pedi- $19 My regular is a fill with gel color plus a pedicure and my total is $40. Hope this helps!
