What more could you ask for? Wait, there's more. THE FULL BRAZILIAN WAS $30. Unheard of! And trust me, I know... I called around every reputable waxing spot you can think of in OC and LA. I've known about Nena's Waxing and their low prices for over a decade but never made the effort to come in. I should've come sooner because I'm so happy with my experience. The place is decently sized with several private waxing stations. Zero frills, straight to the point, and I left with flawless results. Their communication is great too! I sent a general inquiry through Yelp, then was contacted by Ashley directly. I was able to get in the very next day with no problem. Depending on who you schedule your wax with, you could get in as early as 8a or as late as 8p. AMAZING! Ashley is an extremely talented waxer! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a Brazilian whether it's your first time or even if you're seasoned. She strategically uses a mix of soft and hard wax, and makes you feel like you're in good hands from the get. Talking to her felt like catching up with an old friend. Nena's Waxing is a little out of the way but I would gladly return for any of my waxing needs.

She also asked me if I needed breaks and if I was OK. Note that she will not tweeze out grown hairs if you have any. Service was $30 with free underarm waxing. I recently visited GN Nails and Spa for a gel pedicure, and my experience was highly disappointing. Initially, the service seemed satisfactory; the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the quality of the pedicure did not meet my expectations. Gel pedicures are supposed to last at least three weeks, but mine barely lasted a week before the polish started chipping and peeling off. This is unacceptable for a gel pedicure, which is known for its durability. I take good care of my nails and follow all aftercare instructions, so there is no reason it should have deteriorated so quickly. I expected better quality from a professional salon and am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. I won't be returning to GN Nails and Spa and cannot recommend it to others seeking long-lasting results. read more

i got a gel pedi here last week and pretty disappointed with the results. the color ended up being…read moresuper uneven and paint bleeding outside of my nail bed. the tech up charged me multiple times during the service without actually asking. my total ended up being $95. first up charge being the nail color. the first color i chose was a standard gel pink. when i saw it , i wanted something a bit more opaque so she showed a gel color that she "recommended" and i agreed. second, she pushed me to add more time to my "foot massage" after the timer was up. when it rang the first time she asked if i wanted more time and i told her no it was okay. she said "oh come on 5 more minutes?" and i obliged. mind you the foot massage was not a real massage and just her basically stroking my feet... she never told me all of these little things would cost more, i just figured they would, but never said how much more... so no transparency and just seemed like she was trying to squeeze every penny out of me. she was also pushy in a very weird way. she had me save my phone number in her phone... overall i would not recommend this place unless you know a dedicated tech that you are comfortable with and who's work you feel confident with. i want to reiterate that i get my nails done for a little time to myself and i dont mind paying extra if the service is great which is why im usually pretty lax with agreeing to certain up-sells. i also understand people need to make a living and i want to support that. however, here the service left me very disappointed and uncomfortable.
