I just got my nails done a few minutes ago wanted to try a new place near my new home. Started off well staff was nice. I got a full set acrylic and a pedicure. The lady who did my toes did an amazing job and she redid a nail after she was done cause it looked off without me asking and she had excellent customer service. However the person who did my full set Cindy did a terrible job after she made the first cut to the length I was pleased but she kept cutting at it to the point where it looks like I have weird claws on my hands i asked for a pointed almond got stiletto on top of that she had no table side manners and just rushed through the process. The nail shape is crooked the paint on the acrylics is streaky and she cut my pinky cuticle all over. I would go just for the lady who did my toes but never again with Cindy. I'm debating go back and asking them to be taken off and get my money back that's how bad she was read more

Last minute I decided I really needed to pamper myself. This cute shop is so close to my house and they were opened. I was a walk in and the nice ladies there took me in. I had a gel mani and reg pedi w foot scrub total $70 plus tip. Ann and Thi both helped me and they were both very kind, helpful and they made me feel at ease after a long work day. The shop is clean, nicely decorated and they have multiple pedi chairs. I will be back and will definitely call to make an appointment next time. Great service and close to home. Lani was amazing and so calm and kind. None of this felt uncomfortable. She took her time and was really honest about the color I picked. Super nice people but poor quality. I had gel X done in the afternoon of October 31st. Evening of November 1st, I have TWO peeled nails. The pictures I take are from this morning, November 2. My middle finger is starting to peel as well. It already started to bubble up before I left which, to her credit, she did fix before I walked out. I could tell there were other fingers starting to do the same, but I thought I could deal for a week. I only wanted them done for a cruise, but now I'm sitting here looking stupid. Nails fell off my new set 2 days later. Definitely wouldn't recommend going to this spot if you want a gel-x set. During my friends wedding more nails proceeded to pop off. Okay so first I want to say I've only been there twice but so far I love this place. Finding a go to nail tech is usually pretty hard but I got lucky on my first try after moving to the area. Lily has given me both of my gel manis and she's my go to person from now on. I love her cuticle trim up, shes good at getting the nail shape I ask for even if I have a broken nail, and just overall clean work. I love snooping on other customers nails and from what I've seen everyone does nice work. I did also get a pedicure and I got some sort of scrub and it was amazing, they left my feet very soft. They are usually busy but there is a Starbucks right next door so that is pretty dope. I would just recommend calling before dropping in because the chances are that you will have to wait a good bit. read more

After 2 years of suffering with "pandemic nails" , my awesome husband pushed me to finally treat myself & get my nails done. It was Sunday ...5:30pm. I held little-to-no hope that I'd find a place to go. A quick local Yelp search and found ProTop Nails was still open. I called to see if they accepted walk-ins for a full acrylic set and a pedi. The lady said yes and asked me to come over. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Tricia and ushered immediately to a massage chair. The nail shop was decently busy, but not packed - which was good. All of the nail technicians were masked and were very friendly. The shop is a little on the smaller side - but it's cute & very clean. There were approx 5 pedi chairs (plus two cute mini-pedi chairs for special little princesses) on one side and 4-5 mani tables on the other side. They also had a decent selection of nail colors on the wall. I asked for medium length, coffin-shaped acrylic nails. I wanted something classic looking that would go with most of my work attire. Tricia suggested a pink and white ombre and I agreed. She cleaned up my cuticles prior to getting started and really took her time. By time she was done, I was SO pleased with how feminine my hands looked! Each nail was perfectly shaped and looked completely uniform with one another. Nina gave me my pedi and also did a great job. 2 years with no pedis left my feet needing loads of TLC. Nina cleaned my cuticle beds and gave me an amazing massage. This place is a solid joke!!! I walked in asking for 1 single nail to get fixed. My gel had cracked and I wanted 2 layers of clear gel put on to hold it in place until I got back home (I'm on vaca). After minutes of foreign talk they agreed to doing it. I knew when she was doing it it's not gel polish it was basic polish. I knew the bottle wasn't gel. I've been doing my nails for years and I work in the beauty industry. I even asked "are u sure this is gel"? I'm not from here I need this to hold for 3 days. Smhhh. She put my hand under uv and promised it was. I left and it cracked again 5 hours later? Because it's not gel!!! They didn't charge me for service. I paid for dip nails and she put a THIN layer of clear dipping powder on my nails and then put gel on top of it. She charged extra for cutting my cuticles and there was zero lotion on my hands or arms. When I asked her about the dip powder and gel polish she attempted to tell me that the dip would stay on my nails and then next time I could get the cheaper gel option. She tried to convince me that she was saving me money! Within 2 hours of leaving there the gel started to peel up on the edge! Save yourself from a half assed manicure! The pedicure massage was basically her rubbing lotion on my feet and barely touched my legs and she spent the whole 5 minutes talking to the other techs and not even paying attention. $80 later and I could have had my child do a better job. read more
