I got Gel-X nails and they lasted for 7 WEEKS. Never before have I EVER had nails last that long. Not a single nail broke or lifted, and let me tell you, I was using my hands to move furniture, wash dishes, and type on the computer. I've been a loyal client for about a year now, and every visit has been a great experience. Jenny usually does my manicures, and she's fantastic, but I've also had Hannah a few times--and she's just as wonderful. Honestly, whether it's Jenny, Hannah, or any of the other nail techs, they always make you feel welcome and well cared for. The gel pedicures are fabulous--especially the citrus one! I went to get my nails done with a gel manicure . Gel on my hands usually last 2 weeks when I go to any other places. The nails here did not even last a week, I could have got the regular nail polish for less and would have lasted the same amount of time. I called to let them know about it and the answer was " What do you want? We don't guarantee gels to last and if you want them redone you have to pay. " I said I would put a review on YELP, AND THEN THEY HANGED UP. I would not recommend this place to anyone, because why would you pay more for gel if they are not going to last. No wonder no one was there when I went there. If you want your gel nails to last don't come here. I will not come back. read more

This is my second time coming in and May has done my nails. I love that she takes her time and never rushes. The shape is always perfect which I've never had any nail tech get the shape just right. After moving to YL, I had been wary about leaving my nail spot that I usually go to but I think I Ma a have found my new nail salon! I came in on a weekday afternoon, it was nice and quiet. I was promptly greeted and shown the menu sheet they have, filled it out and started the fun part of choosing a color. Everything was nice and clean. They have TVs and music on. It was a great atmosphere. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. I absolutely love how my nails came out. All of them are even and painted perfectly. I'm a stickler for nails being straight and the polish neat and clean and both my nails and toes are perfect! Great work CA nail spa! I'll see you soon! (I'll follow up with a review on how long the gel lasts) ***2 weeks +, although my nails have grown, the polish is still looking great, no chipping or peeling. I came in for a basic mani pedi, regular nail polish. Up until the point of painting, everything was fine. I ask my technician if she could please paint the whole nail several times. She left a U shaped gap of my nail showing. She kinda snapped at me and said second coat will cover but it didn't. She noticed how I was shocked at her snapping and she went back to being nice as if it didn't happen. I then pointed out how the nail was showing on the sides and under the cuticle. She went back over my nails and got a bit closer to covering the whole nail but she did so many coats and it wasn't even. I'm not sure that she understood what I was saying so maybe it was a communication barrier. Overall it was inexpensive for the most basic pedicure and manicure. I'll give this place one more try with a different technician. The owner was nice enough to have me come back and get my service redone for free. They were super nice and apologetic and did a fantastic job. So happy that they cared about my actual satisfaction unlike a lot of businesses that try to save face or blame the customer. Making this my go to spot. read more
