Nah, this ain't it. Let me go on the Yelp record that I can no longer champion BellaBar. I had been so thirsty for a salon like this; I was such the ideal advocate (see my previous review), but it's all falling apart at the seams. I gave it a fair chance; yes, I did. But the last handful of visits have been super blasé. In hindsight, I gave BellaBar more chances than I should have. I just really wanted to love it. The brutal truth is that there simply no longer exists the passion behind this business. And it shows. No one has time or interest in supporting a business that doesn't fully show up. They make a great first impression, but can't seem to be able to sustain it. And with that, I quit my support of BellaBar. The last straw was when they didn't show up to a scheduled appointment, tried to say that they tried to contact me (which is baloney or else they wouldn't have had me sit there for 10 minutes), and then didn't even acknowledge the incident during the rescheduled appointment. I used classpass credits to come and try out BellaBar. I made a reservation for the detox pedicure. So excited to come in because I haven't had a pedicure in a little bit now. Ha. Super cute and intimate place. I like the friendliness of the staff as well. Prices are a bit higher than your average nail salon since the products are non toxic. They also remove calluses differently than the standard places- but it's cool. They don't use a gel- but use an electric file to dry remove calluses. The massage aspect was the biggest thing I was looking forward to since they use hot stones. I should say a hot stone. The girl massaging my legs sad to say didn't do a very good job. The second half, the stone was barely warm and my leg barely got massaged. Just not very impressive as far as that goes. In fact, the whole end of my massage was not great since the original girl that started the pedicure, couldn't continue because she had to help another customer. So the end, I felt was very unorganized and just not very good. The whole pedicure took just over an hour- and they are definitely detail oriented. So that's good. I just wasn't impressed with the massage and hot stone aspect. This pedicure is normally $58- I can't spend that all the time. And I'm glad I didn't pay that today- because if you pay $58, you should atleast get a 10 min leg massage. (My usual ones are around $20 less than that- and definitely more worthwhile) But I will possibly be back to try another pedicure- and hopefully the overall experience will be better. read more

I have been coming here for my manis & pedis for months now and am NEVER disappointed! I can see a huge difference in my nails after using only clean products. They're strong & healthy! The owner is the sweetest human ever and everyone who also works in this salon is educated, friendly, and talented! Also, their facials are everything!! My first time time here today! I purchased a mani/pedi with Ecofin (which is hot oils on my skin, used in place of paraffin). This place is organic!!! They do facials, nails, makeup, waxing. They sell makeup and nail polish and deodorant, etc., all healthy and chemical free!! I'm so glad they are in my neighborhood, I will not go anywhere else. It's classy and inviting and attractive. The colors inside the business are calming. The mani pedi chairs are plush and comfortable. The employee are English speaking Americans . I was there 2 hours today, and it flew by. My manicurist was Jackie. She was kind and a very good manicurist. I enjoyed talking with her. She took the time to listen to my needs and provide me fantastic service. My pedicurist was Stephanie. She was personable and made the pedicure fun. She did a great job on my feet, carefully removing callouses and painting my toes. She was very knowledgeable of her craft and explained different things to me about the service. The woman who greeted me was Lauren. Her smile could brighten a room. She does make-up. Sat there for 35 minutes and left. The technician barely acknowledged me while I sat there waiting. I understand appointments can run late, but being half an hour late to an hour appointment is poor time management. They send appointment reminders and have a strict cancellation policy, but don't have the same courtesy for clients. There are too many salons in the area to waste time here. read more

I came here today for a hydration pedicure, which came out to be $82 plus a $20 tip equaling $102 total. I wish I would've known ahead of time that the pictures on Yelp of the inside are not the same anymore, I'm assuming they might've changed locations. Upon entering, it's a really small but cute and colorful salon, there's only two suede chairs for pedicures and I wish the positioning was a little bit more comfortable. The chair alone is great but the pedicurist sits about 2 feet below you and so you have to scoot forward and back constantly to get your toe nails to dry on the gel machine. My old place in Brea was $60 total and for much longer and detailed pedicure. They charge you a $7 removal fee if you come in with gel on your toes already, then it's an additional $7 charge if you want gel again, and then it's $7 extra if you want callous treatment. So the $65 pedicure alone really only covers the water to soak your feet in which I soaked my feet for literally less than three minutes (and that's the best part of a pedicure, the foot soak, at least 10 minutes would be ideal) and a foot mask. It says it comes with a stone foot massage which isn't exactly accurate, there is in fact a stone...but no massage. The pedicurist put a stone to the sole of my foot for about 30 seconds on each foot and barely applied any pressure so there really is no massage in the end. It seems as though maybe they're still trying to get together the store, training and teaching new people while I was there which of course is not a problem at all but I felt like there was no communication between me and the woman doing my toes, so I just decided to put my headphones on and keep to myself during the appointment. The color selection is extremely minimal may be about 60 to 70 colors. Overall my pedicure on my actual toes look just okay, there's some streakiness on a couple of them and the cut/shape is uneven on big toes, I'll be getting them redone in a couple days. Also I wanted to look around after and buy a bunch of stuff that was for sale in the store like accessories and whatnot but I felt kind of rushed to check out so I didn't get to look at anything. I think this place definitely has potential but maybe some more attention to the clients and more quality into the actual service. read more

I love Bella Bar! The decor and ambiance are amazing. The services are wonderful. Staff is always so inviting and friendly. Eunice is the owner and is present each time I've visited; it's nice to see a business owner who is on-site and involved with the day-to-day operations. I've had several pedicures, hard gel overlay, and even attended their Galentine's Day event - mini facials, snacks, drinks, and fun activities in an inviting, comfortable, and female positive environment. A+! I found Bella Bar while browsing IG. I was intrigued that they offered so many different services, all of which were done with natural/organic products. In addition, they also sold many products that are not commonly found in "stores." You would have to locate small businesses/boutiques or order online. Yes, they are pricier than your run of the mill nail salons. However, they are right in line with the boutique style salons I've visited. Yes, the services tend to take more time but I enjoy not being rushed. When I schedule my appointments, I choose times when my schedule is a bit more flexible knowing things happen and schedules can run late. (i.e. I've had nails which I was unaware required a fix but once the service began, could see why they did. Rather than ignore this and continue to work over/on a less than desirable base, Jackie took the time to fix my nails and make sure I had quality nails that would last!) I understand some reviewers were upset with the delay in services beginning and/or the time it took to complete services. And I know not everyone has the luxury of "open" time frames to schedule their visits. If you have a strict schedule with little to no flexibility, I would not recommend Bella Bar to you.... BUT in my experience, this tends to be the case with small businesses of this nature, especially when they are newer and staff is still limited; not a nail mill. They get to know their clients. I have passed this place quite a few times on my way to grab my coffee from Starbucks next door. First thing I noticed was how CLEAN this nail salon was. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about getting a 'waterless' mani and pedi. 'Like how does that even work!!' That being said I have never experienced my hands feeling soooo clean and soft, after a mani and pedi. The recliners are comfortable and the ambiance is just perfect. It's chic, cute and hip. Very unprofessional staff. We drove by on Friday at exactly 6pm and got a Starbucks drink from next door. When my girlfriend and I got back to my car which was parked right in from of the entrance, she noticed the "closed" sign. We proceeded to take a sit in my car, and I gave them a call to check on it. The girl over the phone was confused when I asked "are you open right now?" and was hesitating. She then said "hm.... yes, yes, we are closed." She couldn't explain to me why. How unprofessional... Their time on Friday (Fri 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, posted on Google, Yelp and their own door) so perhaps they felt like it was time to already go home. The few last customers inside had their service finished up, and a lady was cleaning and moping the place at 6pm. Bella Bar; what is the point of having business hours if you decide to close 1hr early? We can't even say there wasn't many people to service, because as I am saying, there was still customers inside. Moreover, the girl over the phone (Friday September 28th 6pm) was unprofessional, rude, was giggling with her coworkers and didn't even explain why you were closed. This is a really cute salon. I got the Groupon for a classic manicure and pedicure. I made an appointment about a month ahead for the earlier time they had on a Saturday and they only had 10:30am. I arrived at the salon about 5 minutes early and the receptionist was pleasant asked me what colors I wanted. I was never offered any beverage though. I sat in the chair and waited and waited for someone to even acknowledge I was there. I finally asked the receptionist how much longer it would be as I had somewhere to be. She said about 5 minutes. Finally about 30 minutes after I arrived a woman said she would be doing my pedicure. She was about half way through my pedicure about being here for 45 minutes and someone finally started my pedicure. I'm surprised how they were running so far behind being that they open at 9:30 and I was the 2nd appointment. This place is amazing. Noel saved my nails today. I went to Happy Nails across the street in the Ralph's parking lot and did not yelp them first...... poor choice. They did such a horrible job on my nails it was a basic french tip acrylic and they botched it horrifically. Mind you I did reference a picture for them as well I know pictures are just that a reference but they didn't come out even close to what I was going for over there. So I called this place Bella Bar to evaluate the situation on how to fix my nails if they even could and even though they do not do acrylic nails they were able to work with it to get it as close as possible to the look I was going for. I'm going to post a before picture and after picture and what I was going for. Noel did such a great job fixing the botch job I had done I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else again as I know if she could fix that situation she can do anything plus she was super friendly and not awkward to talk to. They are always very accommodating which for me is great because my schedule is very erratic. Even during the pandemic they tried to accommodate me. Just treated really rudely. Had an appt for mani/pedi and specifically asked for a time when they could be done together. My appt was at 430 today. One person started on my hands. At 5, still no one starting pedicure. THEN, a woman came in and said she had a question about makeup foundation. I told my nail person to go ahead and help her, thinking it was just a question. TWENTY FIVE MINUTES LATER I am still sitting there waiting when le she is doing a complete makeup application on the woman, including eyes and brows. Never a glance over to me, never a word--just left me with one hand started, nothing else. At 530, I couldn't take it anymore and left. She seemed really surprised that I was upset with her. I love the concept of this business and the selection of toxin free products they offer. The services I received at BellaBar : facial once, pedicure once and manicure twice. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with any of the services, and I decided to stick with purchasing products instead of receiving services. I am a big supporter of local, small businesses so I continued purchasing products from this store, even though I moved 23 miles away. I am not here to tell anyone how to run their business. I simply would like to share my experience with this business. I was subscribed to BellaBar's newsletter and sometimes purchased products online. I placed an order online on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020. On February 5th, 2020 , I received an email notification that my order is on its way and was provided a tracking number. However, when I clicked on the tracking number, it showed that the shipping label was created but order wasn't shipped. I didn't think anything of this until a week later, because I didn't receive my order. I went back to the email and the tracking number would indicate the same thing like a week before, shipping label created. I didn't think that is a big deal, so I sent an email on February 12th and asked if I could receive an update on my order. I didn't received a reply to my email, so I called to check about my order and was told I will receive a call back. I didn't receive a call back . Few days later, I called again and spoke with Eunice- the owner- she told me something about my package being lost by the post office. I said ok, it happens, I was told my order will be shipped. 6 days later, still didn't receive anything, so I sent another email, and again, I never received a reply. Today 2/29/2020 I called and asked for a refund. I provided my order number and was told that I will receive the refund. I asked the lady on the phone: don't you think I at least deserve an explanation? I ordered products and paid for my order a month ago and I never received anything and all my efforts to communicate with this business were completely ignored. I didn't even receive a " I'm sorry to hear about this" - I was told that they can have someone call me back. No need, I am done at this point. I am very disappointed and feel disrespected as a customer. read more

BellaBar is cutest little nail "bar" I've ever been to! This isn't your average nail salon -- there's no overwhelming polish scent when you walk in the door, and you're not going to walk into a hallway of pedicure chairs. What you will find upon arrival is a clean, chic store with a table full of non-toxic beauty products. Honestly, I felt like I was walking into an Instagram photo. I did the OMG! Matcha pedicure, this included a green tea sugar scrub, matcha clay mask on the legs & feet, hot towel wrap & hot stone massage on the feet. There's no tub to soak your feet in warm water here. I have to admit, I was a little surprised, but the pink chairs are reclinable & very comfortable, & they put a pillow under your feet! Jasmine was my pedicurist and I highly recommend her! She really spent her time on my toes & was extremely careful when she needed to be. I've been to places where my toes bled because the person cleaning my toes cut me. With Jasmine, this didn't happen. I walked out with pretty toes unharmed! I had a great experience here, & I'd most definitely recommend this to friends & family. read more

Modern, Top Notch, Girly, Artistic, Friendly, Eco Passionette, Clean, Sanitary... just to make a few of BellaBar's many fantastic qualities. I'll start by saying I never judge from my 1st visit- I always wait until my third or forth trip to REALLY know how it is- with that being said, his review is well overdue because I have been consistently coming here every 1-3 weeks since October and BellaBar exceeds my expectations EVERY SINGLE TIME. The Mani Pedi's are amazing- this place is both clean AND sanitary(yes there's a difference and they have mastered them both)- all tools are sterilized with medical grade equipment. The mani pedi's are waterless and yes I know many people are reluctant to try waterless because you think your feet won't be soft or clean enough without it(I also used to think so too)- but let me tell you, they used steamed towels and my hands and feet are sooooo much cleaner and softer than soaking in a water filled tub(seriously please give waterless a try). To be honest, this is really the only way to go if you truly want a sanitary experience. Eunice, the owner of sooo passionate about providing an eco friendly experience. The nail polishes are non toxic with long lasting results(not to mention some gorgeous MODERN colors). Jackie is the nail art master! She truly is an artist and such a pleasure to talk to- you just know she loooves and values what she does and it shows. Jasmine is really fantastic too- very precise and big time attention to detail ! I hate to leave a bad review especially because everyone was very nice and the salon itself was SO cute, but unfortunately I didn't have the best experience here :( My pedicure turned out fine, but the manicure was a bit of a disaster. I came in with long rounded nails and wanted them a bit more almond shaped. Unfortunately they were clipped on the sides very carelessly and all my nails are different shapes and sizes! To make matters worse some nails were cut so narrow that there was no way to even fix it at that point,continuing to file it would've just made it a sharp stiletto. Lastly, I left the salon literally dripping with oil wayyyy too much was used LOL! What a beautiful salon! This place is gorgeous! I love their eco friendly philosophy, i think its a great update to conventional salons. They offer a great selection of 5 & 7 free polishes in a variety of colors. They also offer a small selection of beauty items including skin care and color cosmetics. Its hard the beat the philosophy here, im all about cruelty free and the eco friendly lifestyle. This review is for a combination of services that I have received: Grand Opening Party - 4 stars Bella Bar threw a very nice grand opening party and I was lucky enough to receive one of the gift bags. They had a nice spread of snacks and drinks, plus staff on hand to talk to about their different services. Staff - 5 stars The staff at the store seem to be very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise, from makeup to nail care. They work with you to choose products that will work with your skin. Gel Manicure- 5 stars I am very impressed with how long my gel manicure has lasted. I've gone to other places where my gel stars peeling off in less than a week. My gel manicure from here is still going strong after 2 weeks, with just a few scratches on the edges of the nails and some nail growth. The gel has not peeled off. Manicure/pedicure- 3.5 stars It's a little weird not having the tubs and water but they have done their research and determined that it isn't sanitary or eco friendly. I have to rate a little lower because 2 of my cuticles were nicked on one of my visits and were bleeding. It was a bit painful and the cut is still a little visible on one of my nails. On the plus side, they normally do a good job and my skin isn't peeling like it has from other salons. Products - 5 stars Their oils smell so good and seem to be excellent quality. I'm impressed with how well the gels and regular polish hold up. I also like the Lily Lolo BB Cream that I purchased. It was about $20 and is good for light coverage. Eco-fin - 5 stars I tried this treatment for free with a Yelp check in. It's a better for you version of the paraffin wax and it smells so good. I probably won't get it every time because it's an extra $15 but I did like the treatment. Extras - 5 stars This salon offers you champagne or mimosas while you get your treatments done. If you don't want alcohol, you can get juice, water, sparkling water, or coconut water. I opt for the coconut water. It's a nice touch. The pink chairs are pretty comfy too. Price - 4 stars This place can be a bit pricey for what you get. You have to pay extra to get an exfoliating scrub. Exfoliation was included in the regular mani/pedi at another salon I frequent and that cost $55. You have to pay almost $100 to get the Que Bella treatment here, which includes exfoliation. The regular mani/pedi which does not include it is $55. Overall - I like this place. Just wish the regular mani/pedi included an exfoliation scrub. read more

All around good vibes here. The owner and the girls are very sweet and truly care about getting to know their customers. My nails always come out to cute. The place itself is super cute and it's right next to the auto spa so it's convenient to get a car wash at the same time. The attached pic is my most recent mani. The rhinestone and gel stayed on for the full four weeks. I usually get the issue of the gel separating from my nail when I run my hands through my hair but for some reason it doesn't happen here. May be their technique or product. Also, I have tried the products they sell here and I really liked the tinted suntegrity sunscreen and the bright eyes eye masks. This is a small business, and not your typical nail salon. I like the small business vibe and supporting women-owned businesses in our community. read more

I cannot get over how wonderful my experience was! I scheduled an appointment for a mini facial and I am so happy that I did. I was hesitant due to it being my very first time ever getting one. Jackie did such an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I also got a relaxing foot soak. All the products she used made my skin feel so nice and I left with such an amazing glow to my skin. After my facial, I shopped around and ended to spending more money than I wanted, but it was sooo worth it! They have great products! I'm so excited for my next visit. read more

One of the main attractions for wanting to visit this nail shop was because they use non-toxic nail products. I've noticed that when I use non-toxic nail products, it does not thin out my nails but actually gives them more strength. I am a gel-addict, so as you can imagine getting my nails done twice a month can do some damage! I was in desperate need of getting strength back into my nails! BellaBar came to my rescue. I was overjoyed when I came across this gem and I was NOT disappointed. The shop is clean and very cutely decorated. While you wait for your appointment you can either sip on some drinks or shop, what's not to love about that? Jasmine did my gel manicure and Jackie did my brows. Both ladies were not only accommodating but very sweet! Yes, this place is a bit pricer but the outcome is so worth it! Thanks ladies! Checked out this place for the first time and love it. They take care of you and you don't feel rushed. Love the atmosphere and the seats are so comfortable. They also have makeup products and best of all everything is toxin free. They even served us champagne. I already booked my next appointment. read more
