I LOVE this (new to me) Turkish coffee house. It's next to a kebab shop and across the street from my favorite gelato shop (YERSEN). The owner(s) and staff are wonderful, kind, ethical people. I lost a gold/diamond ring and they went out of their way to help me find it. Now, on to their coffee! They have very strong Turkish coffee. They have so many yummy latte options. They serve matcha, crepes, rose chai! They have a spacious shop and are open late. There is also a private room available, assuming you have to contact them ahead of time to book it. This has to be the most trendy place to socialize or wfh in the SR/Alamo/Danville area. They have a patio/outside seating area and provide blankets too. Love the aesthetics, it's clean, bright, and totally worth visiting even if you're passing through. read more

Kahve G is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots The moment you walk in, you notice the beautiful, modern ambience. The space is warm and inviting, with stylish décor, comfortable seating, and unique details like their creative mug display wall that really adds character. Stopped by for some drinks and to browse the menu to see what else they offered. I'm always open to supporting local businesses and new one's. Ordered a latte and a strawberry matcha. Both on the sweeter side but good. I felt the prices were a bit high, makes you think twice for spending that kind of money for a drink. Overall, quality is good no complaints. It's Saturday and my family was still snoozing. I decided to go to this nearby breakfast place. It did not disappoint!!! I ordered an Americano coffee and the Mediterranean breakfast plate. No words could say how AMAZING this place is!!! Finally, we have an authentic coffee shop and Resturant in our neighborhood. Location: superb location in the heart of Danville with plenty of parking spaces and very convenient location for people living in Danville, coming from San Ramon, or from Walnut Creek. Cleanliness: The second you enter KavehG you feel the cleanliness of this place. The staff are spotless and you feel how polite and clean inside our they are. The floors are always clean. The tables are also clean at all times even though this place is usually full of people. The Service: The service is 5 Stars all the way. I visit KavehG when I'm feeling for a nice cafe, nice staff, cozy but at the same time a lot of color and energy! This is the end of their shift and the atmosphere is still fresh like morning! The chairs and tables are getting cleaned right away, the light is great, the food and coffee and sweets after all fresh. The restroom, which is a flag for me, is super clean and designed like a nice hotel! And it is the end of the day!! read more

Second time here and will be a return customer! Coffee shop with good coffee, nice decor / vibe, and will satisfy your cravings for anything sweet or savory. First time we tried the matcha latte and Turkish coffee and tlboth tasted amazing. The matcha was not sweetened so if you prefer your matcha in the sweeter end make sure you ask or get the matcha with coconut. Second time we got the avocado salmon toast paired with toffee nut latte. Both I recommend trying. Overall good place to take your kids on a non school day. Since there is not much specialty coffee in the area, I was happy to find KavehG. I had ordered the KavehG sandwich which is a toasted cheese sandwich with some Mediterranean sausage. I think it was alright and not spectacular though. The coffee was generally good. What stood out for this place is its decor as you can tell the owner did spend times in that aspect. KavehG is great! Their menu has unique things like Biscoff lattes, they have a solid sweets menu. The ambiance inside is chill, clean. The staff is very polite and welcoming. This rating should be a 4 or 5, but I'm giving it a 3 in hopes that the management sees this. The food and staff is great. The only issue is, if you order to go do not order food. The coffee is made right away but the food takes forever. I ordered a croissant to go and waited 15mins. This consistently happens..... 3 separate instances... And these were croissants or cheese pastries or muffins ... all items that should take 2mins to heat. I actively resist ordering food to go because I already know I'll be waiting. This is easily fixable, they just needs to tweak their process. I hope they see this because I really do like the place. read more

I love everything about this place. The people who work there...very nice and seem to really care about their community. Even when they do a little skip up, the workers do all they can to resolve it. Food-wise, I love the latte with espresso and the masala chai...the latter I could drink everyday! I had the meat pie and it was very good and comforting. I've been dreaming of a cafe that stays open late weekdays and weekends in Danville, KavehG delivered. The name KavehG mean Coffee Guy or Coffee Man in Turkish. I am so excited to have a local cafe that is open late and doesn't serve alcohol! Finally - a third space where one can relax and enjoy with friends! We went on Opening Day and were super impressed with everything we tried. The Green Glow juice, the Greek toast, the vanilla iced coffee, the strawberry kouign amman, the house-made cinnamon-sugar butter cookies -- everything was excellent! The service was on point, the decor/ambiance was lovely, and the staff members were super helpful and friendly. KavehG has a small room in the back that they will let you rent for private gatherings -- perfect for our monthly book club! Lots of students studying and it was fairly quiet considering how many people were there . We enjoyed a cup of americano and 2 types of baklava during our quick visit. The coffee and food is so overpriced for the quality- it's really mind blowing. I especially don't like the prepackaged desserts they leave on the counter for who knows how many days. I will never go back, especially now that I've been to Delah Coffee in Dublin- no prepackaged desserts sitting in plastic, only fresh from the case and at a reasonable price. Established in 2025.

Hemant "Sunny" G, a Danville-based executive, envisioned a place where people could connect and work in a living room atmosphere—beyond typical coworking spaces and coffee shops. In summer 2024, Sunny shared his concept with Ibrahim, a local Mediterranean restaurant owner: a lounge blending townhome comfort with café functionality. Ibrahim initially declined, focused on his restaurant. But Sunny's persistence and vision for "a place for real human connection after the digital overload since COVID" resonated. Sixteen months later, KavehG opened in September 2025. If the food, drinks, and service had been worth it, maybe I would. Drinks: Not good at all. We tried ordering the qaimogh chai/sheer chai, and the person at the register initially told us they were sold out. I literally paused and asked, "How?" She then said it might've been a system error and went to check. A minute later she came back and said they actually did have it. For a café that had only been open a few hours, it was strange to almost be "out" of tea and milk already. Considering their website says, "offering tea is the first gesture of welcome", you should probably have the tea available in the first place. The qaimogh itself was disappointing too. It wasn't rich or fully developed in flavor at all. It was thin and underwhelming. From the other reviews regarding drinks, it's clear that the employees aren't well trained in making drinks especially coffee. Food: Honestly embarrassing. Any good food establishment, regardless of culture, serves fresh food with care and pride. A lot of the items on display tasted store bought, stale, cold and reheated, or just not freshly made. Listing the ingredients is also important. Many places will indicate something along the lines of "house made", "made fresh daily", "cooked from scratch", "from a local baker", "made with ___", etc.
