Kassman Plumbing has been our go to for years because of top-notch work, all inclusive bid (no hidden surprises) and especially easy and straight forward communication; Joe and team are the real deal -- recently replaced our aging tankless water heater and did their usual great job -- read more

She really did it. She thought she was doing me a favor by flushing what remained of my roast chicken with broccolini down the toilet, because my 1920s Silverlake pad does not have a garbage disposal. My toilet, however, thought otherwise. CUT TO: Me trying every imaginable home remedy, pouring vinegar and baking soda and dish soap into the bowl...and the water level getting progressively higher, the water more and more murky. Time for a professional. But my normal dude had gotten out of the business. Mild panic ensued. I decided to lean on the network. I reached out to Dmitriy of Priority Appliance Repair, and he referred me to Kassman, where I reached Margo. Margo was clear, communicative (via text and voice), obviously very concerned with providing excellent service, and easily dealt with some unexpected obstacles in scheduling. She estimated that her plumber would arrive between 1 and 3. Harry got to my place around 1:45. Harry was just the kind of person you need in a crisis like this: calm, focused, and very very very good at what he does. Watching him auger the toilet felt like some sort of delicate, precise medical procedure. There is an art to knowing how to auger a toilet, and Harry is a master. 'Did she put the whole chicken down there?,' he asked, jokingly. Twenty-two seconds later, the dark pools had disappeared, and I saw the cleanest white porcelain imaginable. Harry gave the rest of the toilet a once-over. I wrote a check for $150, and he was on his way to his next call. It is now just past 2pm, and all is well. Quickest repair ever. Kassman Plumbing is absolutely as good as it gets. They are your call. Tell them I sent you. read more

Our water heater had a small leak and Joe was able to quickly come out and take a look to verify that the water heater needed replacing. He checked on the warranty (unfortunately had passed) and quickly replaced it the following morning. Price was reasonable in comparison to another quote I got over the phone. Will keep Joe and Kassman Plumbing in mind for any future plumbing issues that come up. read more

Was at my house within one hour and fixed everything for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We've had two emergencies where we've called Kassman and not only have they responded very quickly, they do very clean work and ensure we understand everything they're fixing and what caused the issues. They use reliable parts that ensure their fixes are long term and not just a quick fix. read more

My partner and I just moved into our new apartment and found ourselves with a small leak in the kitchen and needed a new toilet seat. Our property manager hired Kassman to help us with these issues and I am so grateful that they did. Jimmy came and not only did he come and address the issues that we had, but he went above and beyond, while maintaining a professional and sweet demeanor. He is attentive, prepared and professional - he noticed that our toilet was releasing water even when it wasn't being flushed and was able to identify within five minutes of him being in our apartment that our toilet flapper needed to be replaced. When he fixed our kitchen sink, he replaced the P-Trap instead of just tightening it. Again, above and beyond. We could not recommend Kassman Plumbing enough! If you can, ask for Jimmy! read more

We had a backup at our house in Glendale and called Kassman Plumbing. They came out within an hour and a half, which is pretty good based on experience. We already knew from previous years that we had root problems in our clay drain so I already told them to bring the hydro jetter. Their price was very reasonable and we didn't even get charged an emergency fee what a lot of plumbers try to push on me to get their services done now. Joe and Harry came out and spent 2 hours trying to jet my drains but kept getting stuck. I admire the attempt to clear out my shit as they didnt need to do it for 2 hours but they really wanted to clear it out for us. Turns out we probably have an offset in our drain due to root issues and would need to spot repair and eventually change our drain to a new poly urethane pipe which would prevent roots from going in. They gave us a very reasonable estimate and was willing to put the hydro jet fee and credit the job of the drain replacement. Unfortunately, I got a few other quotes and someone beat them by just a little bit but was able to work one day ahead of them. Otherwise we would have chosen Kassman. They were very honest and professional till the end and said that was a better deal, so I respect that honesty. At the end of the day, these guys were easy to work with and pretty much straight shooters. Even though we didnt use them for our bigger job, I'd call them again for any issues. read more

One is far too generous for this ratchet rip off! Oh and I am sugar coating it. Joe came by to snake my kitchen sink. He had promised to fix my loose faucet at s cost of $150 = snake + loose faucet. He left and the gauche was not fixed, but he would gladly replace one if I bought it for$85. I am needing to replace my kitchen mini blinds because of the sewage he splattered without cleaning it. My Condo Association uses them, but after this, REALLY!? What a ratchet business practice! Go elsewhere and don't risk getting taken advantage of. Kassmans is the plumbers crack! read more

I feel like it's not always our first thought to come onto yelp to rate a plumbing service, but when the service and professionalism of a team is as good as that of Hovsep and his guys it seems as if that's the only thought that comes to mind. I was recently referred to Kassman Plumbing by a friend when I was looking to find a plumber for one of my restaurants located in Glendale. I needed someone quick. I called Hovsep he came out and knew what the issue was right away, it seems someone had dropped a giant metal piece into the drain and we were getting overflow as a result of it jamming the water lines -__- The guys were able to fix our issue right away and we were able to reopen our kitchen! They made it seem so easy and effortless. They were were very helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using their services for my other restaurants and be recommending them to all my friends. Great work guys! read more

I am a contractor in California. Every-time we have a question about plumbing there is only one person I call. Joe knows his trade and is really certain about his trade. I have to say they are the BEST plumbing company in Los Angeles. The owner and worker Joe is so efficient and ponctuel also very clean and price reasonable. Joe was the fourth plumber I called. My main drain was clogged & the first two plumbers were unable to clear it. They did not charge me anything. Manny from Magic Rooter recommended I call his friend Robert. That turned out to be a nightmare. I called Joseph for a second opinion. He was prompt & tried for several days to clear the line with no success. He was very detailed about what he was doing & pointed out several violations Robert's crew were guilty of. The problem wasn't in my drain. It was in the connection to the city sewer. He called Anthony who has the license to do the necessary work, which means getting a permit from the city. I am 80 years old and had been living with this for a couple of weeks. I was so tired of using a minimal amount of water each day. Joseph was so frustrated with his inability to help me. He really cared. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness to me. The remedy is very expensive, but had to be done. It's been fixed & we're just waiting for the city to issue the permit so everything can be cleaned up. I can do laundry again! Thank you a million times, Joe. You're the best. read more

I had two clogs in our plumbing connecting to our sink. I attempted to fix it my self as I've cleared our the surface level clogs in the past but they were much deeper in the line. The service we got was great. I could watch how they fixed the issue for future issues and asked as many questions as I needed. No matter what, our technician was patient and pleasant. He fixed it and was off - Easy and Quick! I'd definitely use them again! read more

For months on now we've been having drain line problems that caused a few backups and very slow draining issues (Trust me its not fun). Over the past 4 months we've hired multiple plumbers to fix the problem, however all we did was waste our money and continued being frustrated. We were given the phone number to Kassman Plumbing by a co-worker. We called and got Joe on the line, after speaking with him for 5 minutes we were already assured and had a sense of peace of mind that we would be taken care of. Joe and his team showed up and worked very hard to diagnose and solve our problems that no one else could fix. We are extremely happy with the service and price & would definitely keep his number on our fridge for future use. Thank you Kassman Plumbing. read more

Kitchen clogged drain nightmare that swiftly became a dream when I called Kassman Plumbing. On time arrival when I called in sheer panic as the other plumbers we called were not available until Monday!! Seriously, I need to use my kitchen sink! Harry came, assessed the problem and quickly got to work. He cleaned out the clog and told us what the underlying issue was with our pipe draining very slowly, which the clogging could come back. Harry recommended a solution and back out he went again to fix it. Honest, reliable, friendly and prompt service. Joe was excellent. Called on a Sunday for a main line block on an apartment building and he was able to come within an hour. The job proved to be challenging due to old plumbing not connected properly yet Joe stuck with the job until it was finished 100% and then made sure each tenant's drains were working properly before finishing up. Cleaned up all of the mess when finished. Will be adding to our approved vendor list and looking forward to building a relationship with Kassman Plumbing for our property management company. read more

My first project with Kassman. Fast reply and let you know the problem ahead of time. Joe will be my only plumber going forward.

I noticed a smell of sewer gas and immediately worried that it was our sump pump which I paid another plumber $5k to replace a few years back. I called Kassman at 11pm on the Sunday before MLK Jr day. The owner Joseph picked up and had me explain the issue. He had me check the electrical to the pump, and it turns out that was the issue! Plugged it into another outlet and will be calling an electrician tomorrow. Joe saved me time, money and stress with a quick call. He also offered to call back just to check that everything is OK. If I ever need plumbing help again, Joe will be the only person I call. Thank you! read more

A contractor is doing some minor renovations and found a water pipe behind the drywall that needed to be moved. To not hold up the project, I frantically looked for a plumber. Joseph responded, and sent someone out within two hours. Unfortunately it was a bigger job than expected and they couldn't do it on the same day but they came back the next day to finish the job. The price felt reasonable although I wouldn't know better. He knew it was an urgent job and could have asked for anything and I probably would have not much of a choice anyway. Nonetheless for the extent of the work, the price felt ok. read more

Update from my original review. I was so happy with the work that Kassman did when they fixed my faucet, I utilized their services again this past Thanksgiving. I was having people over for Thanksgiving, and of course, the day before, my toilet handle in my guest bathroom broke. I tried to fix it but to no avail and decided to call Kassman. They came within an hour of our conversation (what a quick response time) and fixed the handle. Great service again, they are the real deal. I highly recommend! read more

Kassam Plumbing came to my house within 60 min to fix our aligning water heater. He arrived, diagnosed and repaired our older model Whirlpool on the spot. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. Saved our family from a 4th night of cold showers. He knew we needed to just replace the whole unit, which would to too much time, so he made repairs to get us thru the the night. I'm a Realtor and had a Seller who needed some plumbing work during Escrow. I called a couple companies who refused to give me quotes over the phone for some basic work. All of them wanted me to book an appointment. Then have the guys come out and tell me what it would cost. I kept telling them that I didn't have time to schedule multiple people to come out to the house so they could give me a quote. I finally reached Kassman who promptly gave me a quote. On top of everything else he was way cheaper then the competition. I made an appointment with them, and they showed up on time. They were very pleasant to work with, and didn't make a huge mess. All around a very nice experience, and at a great price. I highly recommend them! read more

Winner! Cards on the table, I hate home repair, and I dislike plumbing contractors the most. But when my upstairs toilet broke and my water pressure regulator outside the house broke at about the same time, I had no choice. Kassman plumbing showed up, looked it over, gave me a fair quote and got to work. 3 hours later, all fixed. They had all the parts and had the correct tools, and when a bolt pulled out near the end of putting it back together, they took it all apart and fixed it right (big plus). Best of all, they didn't try to jack me on the price after they were done, and they helped my daughter load a couch and TV.... read more
