This was my second time here. 1st time was good...1of the dip nails fell off after a week and a half, but I figured it was one of those things. I made an appointment for today. One lady took my old dip off, the owner, Helen, put the new dip on pretty sloppily. It was attached to most of my fingers in the corners. Helen left and then I had to wait for another lady to finish lunch and then finish my nails. She had a hard time getting the dip off the corners. She got to one thumb and used the little drill to try and get the dip off my thumb. She literally sliced my thumb. It hurt like heck. I kept saying that really hurts! She put nail glue on the cut. I'm hoping it doesn't get infected. I fault Helen for being so sloppy on the dip application. I paid and left...no one apologized. I was looking for a salon close by, unfortunately this is not going to be it! read more

My daughter went to Kasa and the technician was grumpy, was rough during the prep, jerking her hands under the gel lamp and filed her nails so poorly - they look like the shape of teeth! She pushed my daughter's hand and then blamed her for the "ding" in the polish. They look like a home polish job - truly disappointing and they have now lost a customer (actually 3!) Helen is my girl. She has competitive pricing and is always reliable and personable. Parking is tight but is well worth the appointment! I can go 4-6 weeks with their French manicure. Colored gel will last you 3 weeks. If for some reason your unable to get ahold of Helen, all the other technicians are skilled! Wow wow wow WTF. I went in today at 1pm. Pedi cure and gel manicure. 2 hours later... took sooooo long and in the end the whole manicure peeled off by night. This has never happened to me. I am hard on my nails - Prior to finding Helen, I would have to get a new full set every 2 weeks because of them falling off. Sooooo, I cheated on my usual nail lady today since I was desperate for a fill. I always do ombré and not all salons know how to do it so I did some calling around and Kasa Nails said they did it. They were able to get me in quickly and the appointment started right on time. Helen was my nail tech and I could tell immediately that she was good. The salon was very nice and clean and most importantly full of nice welcoming technicians. At first I honestly didn't know if I was getting an ombré as the process was different with my "usual" nail lady, but I'm actually blown away with Helens work. She pays attention to every detail and I've honestly never had my nails done so nicely. I am sooo picky about my nails so when I think I've found someone, I'm usually disappointed in future appointments. Helen took her time to make sure my nails were perfect, she clearly takes a lot of pride in her work and so she should, she's good! I'm so happy to have found this salon and most importantly found my "NEW" nail home. I'll be coming here every two weeks from now on! I don't recommend this place...been here twice and not impressed by the quality of the work. I didn't complain the first time but...this last time was horrendous. I planned a last minute trip and my usual place couldn't take me that day so I went here. Long story short... My shellac manicure looks uneven, the technician burned and cut me several times with her tools, and the polish appears as though it is dripping into my cuticle on some of my nails. After my manicure was finished I had paint on my skin that she failed to clean off...super annoying. Even my boyfriend who knows nothing about this stuff noticed a difference in the quality of the paint on both my toes and my nails. Will not be returning here. read more

I did the ombre with chrome finish and diamonds. The chrome finish wasn't as chromy as I thought but more of a mermaid iridescent glow which was ok. I had envisioned a more silver chrome/mirror effect. The toes were a true blueish chrome. Love them! Helen is so patient and detailed, she's the owner and super great! There are a few dents in the nail but not very noticeable but not sure how they came about b/c it was smooth in the store when I looked at it yesterday. The total cost was $80 for the ombre iridescent powder nails with jewels and a gel pedicure, added a $16 tip so turned out to be a $96 job. Probably will go back for less intricate nails next time but I had a special trip to go to so I splurged. I will also do the ombre w/o the chrome/iridescent finish and the jewels so you can see the nice ombre handiwork, it actually looked amazing as a simple ombre too. :) read more

My nails needed a mani pedi and the long wait during COVID is over. So my first visit in six months plus was long overdue. In the time I was there the cuticles were tamed and the callouses removed. The tools used had not been sanitized because she pulled them from her open tool box. I saw a packaged tool set on her cart. I had Just expected it would be used. Perhaps they are there for appearance? Bare minimum with bottom scrubbing of feet. My feet are ruff on the bottom. Disappointed with the service. Rates in two years went from $26 to $31. I searched for so many nail salons to go to because I'm visiting this area, and honestly didn't see really any good ones except this one was alright.. so I thought.. The lady I had was kind, but I felt like she was newer or something.. the lady next to us kept looking over at her working on me. She used a nipper to cut my toe nails and I told her to be careful because I get in grown nails easily. She nodded and proceeded and rounded the edges like I asked.. but she did pick at an area on my right big toe and pulled off a hangnail.. Went here last week with my mom. The lady who was doing my nails filed the gel I had on to remove it and in the process filed the skin around my nails as well, resulting in scabs on 8 of my fingers. Also, while my mother was getting her nails done a women walked in and the lady who was doing her nails got up in the middle of putting lotion on her arms and left without saying anything to work on the other lady. Had a great experience here! Walked in on a Friday afternoon and was immediately greeted and got seated. I got a gel manicure (25$) and am really pleased with the quality of service here. It took a total of about 45 minutes and I think they turned out great and at a very fair price! Overall would definitely recommend. The only complaint I would have is on the color.... my Nails ended up not turning out to look much like the color I originally picked out.... maybe is was a different color, im not sure but either way I'm still happy with how they turned out! read more
