Located directly off of Longley Ln and adjacent to S. McCarran Blvd in a rather hidden and industrial part of Reno, this place has been offering delicious cocktails/mocktails dating back to late-2023. One of my friends whom I've known (since around 2015) is a part-time employee here as she was the one that referred and recommended me to check it out. And let me tell all of you reading this review, I am glad I did! In addition to the amazingly glowing Yelp reviews, their website, https://underworlddistillery.com/ also has a ton of insight on their business including monthly specials, public calendar of events, bottled spirits (for purchase), an ever-changing menu, and a history of how their business originated. They are also accessible on all major social medial platforms that gives you up-to-date information of present and future events. This is a woman-owned business distillery and I will say that by looking at this place from the outside, I had no idea of what was going on the inside. The inside lounge area is by far one of the most elaborate, sophisticated, and painstakingly complex interiors of a business that I have ever come across. And I say that in a good way as you are wept away in a whole different world! Think of this as being in a haunting dark mansion that represents vampires, witchcraft, ghosts, skulls (protruding from the walls), and a ton of vintage decor throughout. For the full experience, I recommend coming here after the sun sets as being here at night only elevates the dark red lighting with 1930s-inspired furniture. If Halloween was celebrated on a daily basis, then this place has it down to a tee. Which takes me to the drinks! Many of their drinks are named after vampires and other forms of witches that includes "Charybdis' Blood", "Lilith's Daiquiri", "Witch's Cosmo", and much more. Since I decided on a mocktail, I tried their "A Midsummer Nights Drink" which included fresh jalapeño, mint, lime, saline, lemonade, and a dash of jalapeño salt) around the rim of the glass). This non-alcoholic elixir was absolutely delicious with the perfect ingredients to elevate my evening. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday but are open Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00-10:00pm and Sunday from 12:00-5:00pm. During my visit which was the night of Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 9:15pm, there was quite a few people enjoying their libations. The ambiance is very chill as the mysterious silence of this place only adds to the character. So if you're into something absolutely different from your normal distillery, do yourself a favor and definitely check out "Underworld Distillery". My rating, a unanimous five stars.

There was another woman behind the counter but I forgot to ask for her name. They also hosted an awesome art vendor in their back room who was selling framed bugs and preserved skulls. I will absolutely go back when time permits. Don't let the location fool you. This is absolutely one of the premier bars in Northern Nevada.

To say I was blown away is an understatement. It's still got the quintessential CnC charm and humor, but amped up to 10 with lifesize displays, larger murals, more merch and those vibes we all love about this place! The bar area got a massive plus up in Sparks, with a full cocktail program, craft beers, and lots of delightful NA options too. Baristas are super friendly and the menu features all the faves from Reno, and then some! Here's the rub. It's hidden in a quiet corner of the best shopping center in all of Sparks. He recommended many great beans (notable reps) and knew his stuff. The person definitely made us feel welcome! I love the fact that one could order coffee bar-style---and that the person behind the bar is knowledgeable about both coffee and alcohol. Ambience: Love the decor. I mean, who isn't tired of the copy & paste coffee shops that are around? Their set-up, concept, and decorations make the place so appealing. Fare: Naturally, I ordered the piloncillo latte. Great flavours, strong coffee, and the right balance of milk:coffee. I also grabbed the morning bun, which tasted great! Pastry was a bit on the drier side, but not enough to ruin the overall experience. : )

An interesting combination of coffee shop, bar, and vinyl lounge, EP is located on Wells Avenue. Took a break from checking out other neighborhood shops to sit and enjoy an afternoon cocktail with friends. Plenty of various comfy seating areas and about six spots at the bar. I tried the Float On, a boozy adult root beer float using local gelato from Bibo. It's a coffee shop, so my friend sipped the 9 to 5, their version of an espresso martini. The Soul Sipper, a beautiful orange colored cocktail was similar to an Aperol Spritzer. Located on the corner of Wells and Vassar, there's a little more street parking available.

Cut and pasted from their website: "Slieve means "A…read moreMountain" in Irish Gaelic, their family roots." Quality/Quantity - Been an extremely long stressful day! So I NEEDED a break from the day to just relax and stop thinking! I gave my wife a few options, a few breweries to choose from (or for me to just go alone, which she would not have let me drink and drive, especially all the way from North Reno). So she/we chose to go to Slieve as I have not been there yet. Actually, all 3 choices were breweries. The good news is that there are more and more new breweries opening. The bad news is that there are more and more good breweries closing, in ALL my hometowns... My first time in a nano brewery; cool. Today I got (and tried the following), all Slieve brands; support local: Oh, I did not know you had a happy hour M-F from 2-5pm; I just missed it by 13 minutes... Should not have spent so much time outside taking pictures for Yelp, lol. Pale Ale - Good, but I prefer more flavor. This is currently my second "go to" beer after reds. Jimbo Porter - Better, but then I tried the Cookie Monster! I also did not taste the coconut. Cookie Monster - My favorite of the beers, so much flavor. And I am NOT usually a sweet beer drinker. It was not an overwhelming stout, probably due to the sweetness, but you can definitely taste the chocolate and slightly coffee and caramel flavors. I would get this again, but it would always have to be my last beer due to the flavors. Beers that I need to come back for when available are: Your reds, IPAs and of course your "Trinity Tripel." Ambiance - On your "about" page on your website, it says you are still looking for a home for your brewery...? Is that accurate or does that page need to be updated? Cool space, indoor and outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. 2 bars, one the back, probably only used for events. Semi private room when you walk in. Ping pong, darts, games, cornhole, cool decor on walls throughout to read, etc. Open 7 days a week, see their website. Yelp's hours/days differ slightly. Event spaces are available; see their website.. Service - Good. We were also greeted by Shannon when she and Phillip came in later for a drink or two... Phillip was too busy drinking to say hi, lol. Price - $8 a beer. The typical cost for good craft beer. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2022 with your nanobrewery; I wish you the best and am glad you own the building to help you weather some "storms."
